Chances of approval for work permit by MOM

Post by Jacky Oh » Sat, 23 Sep 2017 11:48 am

Hi all,
I has a criminal record previously, I was cought and detained on last year which is Aug 2016, then I was sentenced on Aug 2017 for 2 weeks imprisonment under 1 charge of Outrage of Modesty(no body contact, upskirt video).
Few weeks ago I found an employer willing to hire me, while the management tried to apply wp for me but it was blocked. So i find an agent to do iSumbit for me to do the blocking. The outcome suppose to announce on 21th Sept 2017, but when my agent called up, the officer says that it takes another 3 working days for the progress.
May I know is there any related cases or examples that the member or mates here met? What is the chances of getting cleared of the blocking?
I was very very nervous recently.
Please reply. Thank you very much, i appreciate.

I'm a Western cook, previous and upcoming job(but different company). I'm Malaysian WP holder.
I had been removed by ICA, so I need a local citizen or local company's sponsorship to re-enter SG.

So how can anybody here help?

Just wondering..

Shouldn't you find a job and then get the employer to do the needful?

My employer is willing to be my sponsorship.
But I need any member here to estimately let me know the outcome so that I can make some preparation if special case happens.
My employer already wrote to MOM while submitting to iSubmit said that the already aware about my case but still willing to hire me as they know that I'm fully regret and remorseful what I did previously and will never do it again.
