Re: Need advise

Hi,

For rhinoplasty, i suggest you do it out of Singapore. Cheaper price, same result. As for complexion, i suggest you do it in Singapore. Errrr, think better don't go Woffles Wu, wait he sharpen his knife and charge us expensive expensive. For complexion, you can consider between chemical peels, botox (for the matt look all day long, smaller pores and no oiliness) and some other procedures. Can go to Dr Georgia Lee for that.

For me, i did my nose in Taipei, about 1.5 months ago. Yah Yan Hee is not bad, considering the fact that soooo many people went there for a nosejob. When considering where to go for a nosejob, other than cost, reputation is important too. Oh, referrals are important too! If any of your friend(s) did a nosejob and it looks natural, most likely it will be natural on you too. If your friend's one looks fake, then seriously, consider some other options. Personally i had seen ocean11's nose (she did about 1.5month ago too, in Yanhee), very natural and very nice, suits her face! Don't ask me who's nose is nicer, her's or mine... because each nose is different. Her nose may look nice on her but it may not look nice on other people. The best, is to get recommendation from the surgeon himself. Nose implants comes in as many as 30+ shapes and sizes, the surgeon will be in the best position to assess your face and see which shape suits you most. Apart from shape, your skin elasticity is one of the factor to consider too.

Doing in Bangkok will be more affordable, as Yanhee charges US$450 for rhinoplasty. I paid S$1450 for a rhinoplasty in Taipei. Also don't forget to factor in your air tickets, hotel accomodation, taxi rides and meals. It will cost about $1600 for everything if you do in Bangkok, $3200 if you do in Taipei. I can't recommend you which one to go, it's all up to you.

Thanks for your comments.. Ya, I am looking into hving rhinoplasty & maybe the complexion of my face.... So Dr Woffles Wu is what you recomended?

Hmm... is it a bit demanding if I will to ask you for your picture before & after to have a look? Anyway, which dr you went to? I heard yanhee doctor are not bad??? But then, there are so many Dr being recomended Like Dr Chang, Dr sukit etc... which is more reliable & more afforable?

Hope I can get to see your pic... Thanks ;)

jovinliu wrote:I saw this Dawn Yang's pic on yahoo homepage, and i thought she is some new celebrity. Really pretty :) But what i think is, her existing features were quite ok already, hence after plastic surgery the result is very good. And hor, why does people targetting her now? Was it something she said or done? Plastic surgery is ok mah, which lady is already that pretty since birth? All of us need some "extra help" here and there :P

yes i had done botox and rhinoplasty before. So far no side effect. If you have decided to do something permanent to your face (nosejob, chin implant, double eyelid etc), usually you need to go for a consultation first, then fix a date for the surgery, then go back once or twice for review. No you don't have to go back yearly for checkup. There is a risk involved in each surgery, no one can guarantee everything is definitely going to be alright. It's up to you whether or not you want to take this risk and go ahead with the surgery. Also, try looking up for more info on the website, it will help you to get prepared.

Now that I had done my jawline and my nose, the next thing i want to do is my complexion. I am also considering going for a consultation with Woffles Wu to see what other thing i can do to my face... hee.

Word of caution: Plastic surgery is addictive!

I am new to the forum and will surprise to see so many are interested in Plastic surgery. I guess it is very common now, even aft the cases of Dawn Yang. Her surgeon really did a good job huh... Wonder where is did her?? Haha

Anyway,I am interested in having a nose job too? But I am having very little information... btw, can anyone send me a before & aft pic? also, can anyone who did it before, tell me on any side effect aft the surgery. Will it became something like Micheal Jackson? That is wat i fear most... Instead of becoming more prettier... Can also advise me if one really did a PS, does he/she need to go the the PS surgeon often or one time will do?

Sorry for all the questions...

Thanks ;)

Meso-botox. It's to temporarily shrink the jaw muscles, to contour the shape of your lower face. So far very good results, as my friends thought i had lost weight. Hee hee.

hi jovinliu, i have a quite a defined jawline but my chin is not very prominent, therefore it's kinda squarish. I like Jessica Alba's, Jennifer Aniston's, Cecilia Cheung's face.. oval in shape. It's very attractive.

Does the treatment u seek lasts (permanent)? How much it costs?

Nope, it's not permanent. Can only last for a few months, and after that need to go for re-jab. But the more number of times you go, the longer time it will last. Another alternative is an operation, but i find it too traumatising.

I paid S$650.

Eye bag surgery/mesotherapy

Post by benefit » Mon, 21 Nov 2005 6:07 pm

Dear Jovin and Plas.
thanks for your reply and information. :)
Now I'm seriously reconsidering surgery to remove eyebags. This is because I just found out that there is another method which doesn't involve surgery. Bascially it involves having mesotherapy done on your eyebags. This method was pioneered by a Brazilian doc, Patrícia Rittes.
For some before and after pics go to: http://www.aestheticmd.com/face.shtml
I was really impress by the before and after results. Also the plus points are obviously that it's non-invasive and takes just a few minutes and also does not require any anaesthetic. However this method which involves "fat burning" injections have not been approve in certain countries because the long-term side effects are unknown. However it can be done Singapore.

I've heard of mesotherpy being done mostly on the bodyily areas. however i have to say hearing that it can be done for eyebags is a 1st for me. Can anyone share and advice or experience with regards to this. Will really be much appreciated.

Btw Jovin, Dr W. Wu is ex!! :o I emailed him was told that consulation alone with him is S$150. I saw another doc the other day and it cost S$100 for 30 min consultation. After that every other 30 min would have cost an additional $50. I think the price dr wu quoted is just for 1st 30 min??

Hello!,

Just let u know that my gal friend did her double eyelid with MH and had good results. She spent $3kplus including medicine.

Her eyes are well cut n looks deep set. Her eyes are very charming now. looks good.

Personally i think MH is better than WW, but MH dun come cheap too. His nose surgery will cost abt $7k.

Can consider him.
