Hi plasticgirl, thanks for being so candid about your experiences. I totally agree that most Korean plastic surgeons have a different aesthetic when it comes to beauty. Not everyone can pull off a high nose bridge, big dolly eyes or is suited to a very tapered nose. That and coupled with a language barrier can lead to unexpected results. I've seen some very pretty Korean girls but there is always something off about the way they look that I can't put my finger on. They are pretty indeed, however it doesn't look at all natural.

Btw, isn't it too soon at 7 months to determine the results of your eye augmentation? Thought it takes about a year to look somewhat natural?

I am in Korea now and it's the second day after my revision nose surgery.
Before coming here, I had contemplated having the surgery done with Dr Jung but had decided against it after emailing him.

I wrote Dr Jung an email in English and he had replied saying that he charges US$5000 for revision nose surgery and an additional US$3000 if I want to use my own rib for the surgery.
Then out of curiosity, I sent him an email in Korean and he replied (in Korean) that he charges 5,000,000 Korean won for revision nose surgery and an additional 3,000,000 Korean won if I want to use my own rib for the surgery.
Do the math, there's such a huge difference between the two prices!!!
How can I trust him when he's planning to rip me off because he thought I am a foreigner.
In the end, I went to another plastic surgeon...won't name him until 1 month after the surgery when my nose is better.

I also had other minor aesthetic procedures done in Seoul in one of the many aesthetic clinics there.
And boy, am I ever impressed with the below clinic.

They offer services like laser skin resurfacing/rejuventation and laser hair removal.
The cost of bikini laser hair removal is only 80,000-150,000 Korean won (S$93-S$174)!!! That's very cheap by Singapore standards.
They also offer body resculpting and hair transplantation services.
One of their doctors there (Dr Park) speaks very good English and there are no problems in communicating in English with him at all.
He is kind, professional and has excellent bedside manner.
When I asked his advice about one procedure I want done, he advised against it...saying I look great without it but that's his personal opinion and he will do it for me if I want it.

If anyone wants some minor aesthetic enhancements while in Seoul, I highly recommend this clinic.

Doctor i am find before is Contour dean, his name is Chairman Kim Ju han

The hospital have a lot of difference department doctor see whether what you need, but if can online consultation with their nurse they can explain which doctor is the best, the Chairman Kim Ju han he is a director of the hospital, he is really good doctor and very careful in the surgery, and he also a popular in korea surgery cutting angle of mandible, this is very big surgery alot of doctor they din know this surgery, also a lot of pursue beautiful dreams they are failure about this surgery.

I can tell you my next surgery will undergo surgery about my angle of mandible, but i have to save some more money to do this surgery because this surgery have to rest about two week.

Hi people, today I went for the consulation with Dr Andrew Khoo,he said that 19 years old is not eligible for any of the plastic surgery.....and my 130 dollars are gone for nothing.....
so please take note that , do not go for a consulatuon/plastic surgery if you are not above 21 years old.

Sorry, but which country is this Dr Andrew Khoo from? I'm 19, going on 20 and I just went to a consult with Dr Andrew Tay a month ago. He mentioned nothing about not be eligible for plastic surgery if you're below 21 years of age.

SKN doesn't perform cosmetic surgery. They only provide procedures that are non-invasive.

SKN has terrible service. In the first place, the doctor uses terrible china nurses that cant speak english and practically force packages down your throat. Real low class!

Worse still the nurse actually called my house and revealed all details about the procedures to my parents.

Hey everyone, i was from the other thread,
i did my nose in hatyai previously, and going to revise it in korea,
i will be going to 30th september this year with a female friend, im a male.
Both of us are interested in nose and eyes.

Any other doctors that you all would recommend other than BK Dongyang, Migo clinic and Doctor Jung?

My nose is not so bad but its still not the length i wan and it like facing upwards.I wan something like Song Seung Hun, I have very defined Jawline and phoenix eye. which is quit unique for a guy i though i could match it with song's nose

I know you've heard a lot of not so good stuff about Manila and the Philippines, or you've not heard of it at all...

but a lot of competent doctors, trained in the US (because of the educational system) have successful results, I personally think medical groups who do surgery on filipino celebrities is a good bet, the results are readily visible and the doctors would gladly take patients--celebrity or otherwise, and the prices are competitive, and your health plans are admissible--and not to brag, the top-notch hospitals are much newer, much cleaner than anywhere in SEA

and since the country's Medical Societies are not yet as protective against litigation, in case something is not right (which is not often the case, similar to other countries) you will be more secure
