grumpy99 wrote:Hi, I have a silicone implant but I don't think Goretex would be a better choice for me. Simply because if I really don't like my nose after the surgery, I can easily have the silicone implant removed. If I had Goretex and I don't like it, that's it and I'll be stuck with it.

About the silicone implant "shifting", I don't think you have to worry if your surgery is done by a good doctor. My implant is straight as an arrow, and after 5 days, I started to sleep on one side and now, on 13th day, it's still very straight and tight. Shifting, I think, is quite uncommon.

About the silicone implant looking fake, I think that's untrue. Those who have seen my new nose say it looks really natural. Asian skin can take silicone very well, so it's unlikely the nose will look fake.

Hi who,

That means goretex is a better choice!
I have plan to do Rhinoplasty & Epi or double eyelid,Target place Korea.
Do you all know which doctor is better DR Jung or Kim.
Pls advise
I will be going for consultation to both doctors with my gal friends.
They also interested in plastic surgery.

I finally decided to have a surgery at Migo Clinic in Korea but I am still scared. The date of my operation will be on Dec 28th and I will stay in a nice but affordable hotel. Anyone interested going to Seoul this fall? Does anyone have experience at Migo Clinic, Have you heard any issues about this clinic? Please let me know while I still have time. I am going to have nose and chin augmentations.

Hi,

I was also initially thinking of doing my double eyelid surgery in korea at BK Clinic. But my parents opposed the idea and only allowed me to do in singapore, in which i have no idea which surgeon is good.

I've heard good and bad reviews here and there, so i'm a little worried.

i just did my nose with dr nara on 2 december and my nose is pretty swollen now. eye area is also swollen. sigh..
and the worst thing is that, it seems like there is nothing done to my nose and even my parents and siblings said so. it looks jus like my old nose, swollen.
sigh.. getting pretty depressed and anxious...

but i did saw my nose right aft the surgery and i find that it looks good. at least better then my old nose.
is it that aft all the bruising n swelling are gone, it will look exactly like wat i saw in the mirror right aft the surgery??

2 weeks after the surgery, with all the swell gone down, my nose looks good. i love the new nose dr nara has given me!

RHINO.

Post by missfoxxxy » Tue, 08 Dec 2009 9:18 pm

Price quoted for rhino in Korea is about 3-4 million won.

This isn't inclusive of meals and accomodation.
So I don't understand why people say it's cheap, cause it's really not?

Waiting for my surgeon to reply me with the simulated results now,
but deffo looking into travelling to korea for a nosejob.

would appreciate company.

lemme know!! <3

I think compared to a S$17000 nose job by Woffles Wu, then it's properly cheaper in Korea :) Maybe different procedures for e.g. autologous rhinoplasty by rib harvesting cost double or thrice the price of a nose implant job?

hahaha I don't wanna go to Woffles, I'm pretty much choosing Korea for their experience.

Wouldn't mind Taiwan though, unless I successfully scam my mother of 5 grand (:

Have you done anything to your nose?
I so super need advice!!

I'm looking at fascia lata for dorsum and ear cartilege for tip definition.
Lemme know what you think

No I haven done anything yet was still considering too. Wanted to do only ear cartilage too but they were saying that unless your bridge is originally high, then dorsum/ear cartilage would be sufficient, otherwise you need to have an implant either silicon, gorotex or rib.

Fascia lata, babe.

Apparently it's the latest breakthrough, but I hate cutting myself open, so I might opt for goretex.

If you wanna know more lmk :)

Its also alot cheaper for those korean americans (if you get info from purseblog) who go to Korea rather than paying 12000 USD in US. Plus the doctors aren't even very experienced with asian noses in US.

Hi all,

I'm sorry. I haven got time to post about my experiences with Dr Chuang in Taiwan at www.christinekosite.com forum. I will definately post it by tomorrow.

If any of you need information about PS, maybe you all can consider visiting www.christinekosite.com.

Another thing is that I heard that new website is going to do reviews on Korea and Singapore PS surgeons.

Cheers!
