I have always been depressed and insulted by many people during secondary school days about my big and round nose, many giving me names such as big nose or callin me jacky chan or asking me if im related to jacky chan, it ruined my growing up days and made me detest Jacky Chan to a certain point where i can't control my tears whenever i hear people relating me to him. It was excruciating. Caused me much tears and sadness. I even hated my dad for inheriting his features to me since my dad also has a big round nose. My tears just can't stop itself at the mention of my nose back then. Even when i was telling Dr Huang about my secondary school life was excruciating since i was already scarred badly by all the insults and names.

A big warm thank you for Dr Huang for changing my life and giving me a new ego. When i couldn't go back for appointments after the surgery because of my brother's sudden death, my nose implant was shifted upwards and it was already too late to try to shift it back by pushing it downwards with fingers, Dr Huang was so nice that he even did a 2nd surgery to improve my nose by inserting n altering a new implant at a very very very affordable price because back then, i was still a student and because of the financial burden since i just lost my brother.

I certainly recommend Dr Martin Huang to anyone who wants to change their life with surgery. :D
heya lene.. I know this post has been there for quite sometime and I am not sure if you still visit this forum.. but i really need ur help cos I am considering Dr Martin Huang for a nose job..

Post by Lynn_80 » Sun, 12 Apr 2009 4:46 am

Now checking out any recommendations or advices as most likely I'll be gg alone and I dun wanna spend my money to get a disaster job done as i've checked online according to tis website there are only 1200 certified plastic surgeons in korea and there are alot more who are doing but not certified. Worried. So better check it out.

Just my thought...

I cant believe people actually go for KALO because they are cheap. Why would anyone wants to have cosmetic surgery, especially on their face, takes pricing into consideration. As a general rule, would not a good/skilled doctor chages more? As for KALO, I am amazed they are allowed to perform REAL cosmetic surgeries. None of those "works" they put on their print advertisement look nice, either the nose bridge too narrow or the crease for double eye-lids too high. All in all, they do not look natural.

I have not have anything done to my face, mostly because I am afraid that the final result might not look natural. But I've had a few VASER done on various parts of my body. All I could say is a real doctor does make a huge difference. The last few surgeries were mostly for touch-up to correct whatever mistakes/ irregularities caused by the previous doctor (not from KALO).

Am currently researching for eyes and nose surgery. I heard from alot of Koreans residing in America stating that BK is famous for their rhinoplasty and seems like alot of them went to Dr Park from OZ Clinic for eyes surgery.

BEWARE

Post by Route2Perfection » Thu, 16 Apr 2009 10:57 am

Dear all, BEWARE of FAKE DR CHARAN corresponding from [email protected]

I had just called up Bumrungrad International Hospital @ BKK at 10.20am. I wanted to speak to Dr. Charan but was being informed that Dr. Charan is not in the hospital until 16 Apr 09.

The reason i called up was because i have received suspicious emails from FAKE Dr. Charan responding from [email protected].

The nurse had informed me that Dr. Charan doesn't use this email to correspond with his patients. She also informed me that the doctor wouldn't request the patients to send money over.

What cause the suspicious was those words in RED, how can a doctor correspond differently in each email? Did he know it is unethical to do so especially with email?

Also why the hurry?

He didn't even reply me those info i request.

I had posted the emails

Dont get me wrong, as you have to make the $1,850 USD available has the half payment of the Zygoma, mandible reduction. You will have to be in the hospital for a week. Now i believe you understand me. If you are ready you can get back to me.

Hello Doctor Charan,

I haven't plan to go to which doctor yet. Right now i am still sourcing around.

I would be comfortable if you can provide info- procedure, post-surgery cares, recovering period, etc. Money is not an issue.

You have quoted U$3000 just for zygoma reduction, now you are giving me U$1850 for both surgeries. Very hard to believe this offer.

Dear Dr. Charan,

I have just sent an email to the hospital general email. I managed to get your email in a forum.

I want a smaller & refine face, therefore i am looking at zygoma & mandible reduction procedure.

Kindly give me your utmost honest opinion on the essential procedure to achieve the small & refine face i want.

Kindly also let me know how much is the cost for essential procedure, the post-surgery cares, etc.

Many thanks, Wei King

paying more for the op does not equate better results. local famous docs charge more than 10k for a simple nose job. twice the cost of what u get for a good doc in taiwan, ask arnd the forum and u shld get the general consensus on local PS.

u r right in that pricing shld not be the main consideration, but if 2 docs can deliver the same results, wld u not get tempted by the cheaper one?

just wanted to make the point that paying more does not mean u r getting better results, it might also easily mean u r getting ripped off. always choose the doc by doing enuff homework, get more reviews from diff patients etc
Next: Forehead augmentation, botox, RF
