no fear. go to tan teoh clinic. they have plastic surgeon station there and their price are cheap consider to other plastic surgeon when coming to remove stitch by other doc.

may i know which of the tanteohclinic that has the plastic surgeon? I called up the clinics, and they said towner's clinic has the plastic surgeons, but for tomorrow's, they only have Aesthetic doctors :???:
Can Aesthetic doctor remove the stitches too as the assisant doctor in taiwan told me that the stitches are very tiny..

Actually.. any doctor can remove stitches. It's not a big issue.
The only problem you might encounter is that the doc might refuse to remove it cos he doesn't want to take any responsibility for a 'botched' job.

hihihi thanks for the reply. I went to mount avernia to remove the stitches by an ENT doctor, then when i came home only to read the replied email by dr kao that it is ok to have stitches remove by nurses too. lol
The doctor gave me antibiotics and a cream to apply. However i still have stitches left inside, guess i will just go to a clinic to have my inside stitches remove.
Wa.. i tell u the removing stitches part is so painful man, i almost fainted lol

appletree, why the ENT doc only removed your outside stitches & not the ones inside your nose???

(is there a different time frame for removal of outside vs. inside stitches?)

... its not about outside or inside. Because not all the wounds have healed up, there still needs to be some stitches left behind. Some are removed first to lessen the number of scars and improve scar healing. This is not specific to PS ar, almost every surgery that has stitches on the skin can practice this as well

Usually in nose surgery, the stitches or sutures that are left inside are absorbable sutures so they don't have to be removed and will be dissloved in time. In some cases, where the stitches are irritating the nasal lining or mucosa and is causing crusting, the stitches may be removed.

Hope this helps
