Hi All,

I did my eyelid & nose surgery some 20 years ago and lately i've been contemplating to "lift my eyelid" since they droop a little with age catching up. I'll be seeing Dr Khoo at MT E and wondered if i should go ahead as i've seen some negative comment on his eyelid surgery.
pls advise for those who have their eyelid done by him.

Hi,

From what i know, no cream is going to help subside the dark eye circles, except IPL. If i am you, i will not go to Dr Benjamin George, as i myself had a bad experience with Dr DL before (who also seems impatient to answer more questions) and i will never go back to him. But, yes, he has the right to charge you more if you asked alot of questions. The word "alot" is very subjective, but anyway he did charged you $100, you paid so end of story then

I have very dark circles which are worsen by the eye bags hanging below my eyes. My colleagues and friends said I look like panda every day, and it just burns me up. I consulted 2 doctors in Malaysia, just wondering anybody have fantastic results from them, or could suggest some other doctors?

Dr Benjamin George (Gleneagles Hospital & private clinic in KL city)
Dr George Varughese (Glenegles Hospital & private clinic in Bangsar)

Dr Benjamin George tells me I have no eye bags, just loose skin and extra muscle, wherelse Dr George Varughese tells me that I have fat (eye bags) and skin, no lose muscle. Both say a different thing, I don't know who to trust. Both suggests different procedures as well, which definitely adds to the confusion.

With Dr Benjamin George, the consultation was quick, he did not explain much and seem to be in hurry. He charged for RM50 per consultation, but since I asked many questions, he charged RM100 for my consultaion. How can this be? I mean, naturally patient who wants to have their appearance fixed would want to know every option possible and the risks involved. With Dr George Varughese, he charges RM100 as well, but I could take even up to 1 hour to ask any questions I like, as long as I feel comfortable.

I really do not want to solve a problem, yet to create another problem in the end. If anybody has any comments and suggestions, please please do respond to me.

thanks very much for your advise. My bf isnt very supportive of this surgery, I'm having a big headache.

Question to all that has done lower eye lids surgery:

Will it change ur eye shape? I mean, the doc suggest tightening which definitely will change my eye shape, and i don't want that.

Anybody who has done successful eyelid surgery without changing eye shape, but just enhancing appearance? please share. thanks so much!

I have gone for an injection rhinoplasty a couple of months back, not much effect seen, and spent about $2400! Thinking of getting a proper rhinoplasty, but my hubby is totally against it. But ----he will be away for work early next year , so hoping to get it done then. Have gotten some pricing quotes & intending to do it in Spore but want verification that it is worth the pain/risk/hubby freaking out!!

hey ppl,im new here..congrats 2 those who had successful ops....hihi..haf been reading this whole topic on this forum(nose job).considering prices..i tink bangkok will be my 1st choice as the prices are affordable..around SGD800-1,500 max,and less dan 2.5 K for the whole trip there + shopping..yanhee has quite a gd reputation as well as Bumrungrad hospital..Singapore surgeons ain't that bad,but when it comes 2 pricing...dey're far ahead of the rest.
so im tinking of gg to yanhee nxt yr somewhere mid march or early april..of course,i wont b gg alone n hope dat someone of the same interest might b able 2 join.during the stay there,of cuz can do shopping(buying fake goods)haha,trips and of cuz most impt the op..so dat will be "Killing 3 birds with one stone!!"hehe..so the stay will b ard 8-9 days i hope 2 plan out.

If my pics can persuade your hubby to agree to your nosejob, i "sacrifices" nevermind... hee hee. But, i really hope you can go and do a nosejob, if you really mind your current nose shape. I did, and i never regret.

I saw ocean11 this afternoon, she had done her's at Yan Hee hospital. Her's is very natural too! Anyway that char bor is already pretty, like a Japanese Tai Tai.. ha ha. Her's is a I shape mine is L shape, so can't really compare. Anyway there's no such thing as who's nose is nicer than who's. As long as it suits your current features, should be considered as nice already.

Hey let me know of your husband's decision ok! Seems like your "fate" lies in his hands... hee hee..

Wow, that's alot to spend for a injection rhinoplasty, somemore it doesn't last. Why not consider doing in Yan Hee? It's so much cheaper than doing in Singapore, and there's so many gals who had done their's in Yan Hee.

Erm, not a very good suggestion but i think you should "first do later then admit/say"... hee hee. I don't think your hubby is going to get reallllyyyy furious after seeing your pretty nose

Sorry people! Have been swarmed with work..no time to log on!
Okay..where do I start with the questions ... my silicon is a I shape.... it was custom made..Dr Sukit actually sat there and measured the height & length and making sure before he did it.

It only took me 5 full days to recover! The 1 st day felt like someone punched me in the face...2nd... able to go shopping..... looked okay..thought I'm thoses that don't swell and bruise!! 3rd day...swelling started..so "pong-pong" .... my lower eyelid was so swollen! But like what the doctor advised, keep using the ice pack... (Trust me girls, bring at least 1 or two ice pack and put it in the fridge)..and by the 5th day..all swelling and briuse were gone!! Maybe I lie..just a bit swelling which is so minor that I can't tell untill I touched them....

Yup, it's a close incision..so the stitches are in one side of the nose... no scaring.... one thing I have to say though is I find that my nose is not very straight...not very centered... (maybe it's because I'm a librian?!?!).. but I've been told by many surgeon and articles that because it's a close incision, the posibility of not having a 100% straight nose is possible.... aiya, like what all my close friends said, it's good that it's not super straight, cos it will then look fake...nobody's nose is that straight... What do you think, girls?

I spent 10 days in BBK...and please, if anyone is going to Yanhee, don't bother staying near the hospital..cos that is the most boring place!! Nothing to do... I booked a hotel "near" the hospital thinking that if anything happens, I'm close to the hospital... what a silly thought! Thank god I booked for 4 days only..the rest of 6 days I stayed at Surawong..near Silom...

Okay..what other questions....? Photos... okay.. I don't have a after shot yet..will take one very soon..no point sending the before shot without the after shot right??

Please let me know if I missed anybody's questions....
