Terri, facial harmony and balance is sometimes due to only a few mm's here and there.
I suggest you do a morph and see how many mm is needed for you to find it attractive. If you send me a profile pic (block your eyes) I can do one for you.

hey mbk
where do you find that morph software? I've always wanted to do a morph of my face..
terrie
1.5mm doesn't sound like a lot but i've heard people who've done it say a little makes a big difference. Whos the surgeon you are considering?

oh ic .. but i don't think ps uses ps3 cuz it can't morph the front view of the nose, ur talking about using that liquify thing right?
anyways, this guy
http://nose123.house-ware.com.tw/ morphed my pix for me just now.. I don't know his english name.
I look sooo good in the altered pix!!
It's not as high as I wanted, so I'm gonna send him some other pix to alter again.
I'm SOOOOOO determined to get my nose done now! In August for sure for sure. . I've always had a little doubt cuz everything thinks i'm attractive already doing more to my face will "ruin it" or "over", and people think I got mental problems when I say i wanted surgery

^_^ I am pretty sure I have seen some autologous surgery on his website and they look alright. He is suppose to be one of the best rhinoplasty surgeons in S. Korea.
By the way, donated autologous have a higher resorption possibility.
And do you really need the rib graft? Most people would do fine with the ear cartilage harvest; you only need the rib graft if you have a very flat nose or want it lifted substantially higher.
I see, thanks for the info feline!!! you re the best! Hopefully i dont need to have a rib cartilage taken out, when i think abt it, I do have a high bridge but also a bulbous tip...But it kinda depends on what kind of nose I want as well..... Am I weird for wanting a nose just like Dawn's? Its quite defined and sharp in a way.

Beauty is very subjective so different strokes for different folks... I have to admit I actually showed Dr Ryan Hsu a photo of Dawn and told him specifically that I didn't want a nose like hers hahaha... I think the tip looks kind of pinch, slightly weird for me. I think the tip is the defining factor for a girl's nose, not so much the bridge. Once the tip is well done, defined and feminine, the rest kind of fall into place. I really like the tip work of Dr Gao that I have seen on his website. I have also read a great review on
www.purseblog.com on him.
So I really envy you... if I had a high bridge I would have just gotten my tip fixed and then I wouldn't have needed the rib grafting, or at most just some septal cartilage or ear cartilage used. The kind of nose I like... well, I think I have already posted some pictures of them up on this thread, are more Asian and less "pinched", defined but slightly round. I think those would suit me better seeing that I have a roundish baby face.
i'm kinda in the same scenario as you. I have a soft looking face maybe it won't suit a sharp nose.
The reason why I wanted a nosejob is particularly because I used to always wear "nose makeup", if you know what i'm talking about-shading the side of the bridge to make it appear higher.
If I only get my bridge augmented, my tip will look too low in comparison.
But people always tell me i'm very pretty already, if I get a nose job it'll just ruin the natural balance.
Such a dilemma...

You showed Dr.Hsu not to graft you Dawn's nose. Haha thats cute. Once you told Dr.Hsu you didnt want Dawn's kinda nose, what did he say?
The more I've researched the more I want "those" kind of nose, like nong poy's nose as well. actually with a roundish face and the nose of the pics that you showed us would look very natural
but wouldnt it look better if you have a roundish baby face you have sharp n defined nose? I think i have a roundish face altho not so much baby fats left anymore.
Anyways, hows your nose & eyes now? Are you used to it yet?

So did you send pictures to the different surgeons? What did they say? Did they recommend rib graft or ear/septal cartilage?
At the moment I am constantly questioning why the hell did I do it?? I had a pleasant face and now I look so... not me... I know a large part is the swelling but I really don't know for sure how I will look after all the swelling comes down. Will I be happy with it? hmmm... Even Dr Hsu was like, "Whoah you look completely different from how you use to look like (After seeing me after the blepharoplasty and epicanthoplasty). Your eyes are huge!"
I guess I can always go for a slight tweaking to make sure everything comes together if it still looks weird after a year. But it will be such a pain in the arse because I take such a long time to heal.
Hang in there feline, drink lots of juice and vitamin C to help healing. Its normal i guess for the area to be swollen after operations, just make sure its not an infection. And dont worry you did those surgeries with very experienced surgeons, you would look nice indeed!

Hi all,
it's official, I'm seeing Dr Hsu on Dec 4th. Heard from him that he will be operate another singaporean girl on the 3rd. If you see this, would you like to keep in touch? I'm still looking for a flight there, it seemed all direct flights to kaoshiung cost more than $700. Might have to fly to taipei in that case with budget air and then train to kaoshiung which is 2 hours away. gosh. would be great to hear some advise/experience from people who went to Dr Hsu! can't wait....
