i was interested in yoskarn too. have you emailed them? their replies are very friendly. but the price is not very attractive(in consideration that it's thailand, not taiwan/korea/singapore) what procedures are you interested in?

I had private consultation with them. Quite impressed but price is more expensive than yanhee or other places. More similar to singapore prices. I am however going to go withb him for rhino because he is also an ENT. Will be doing it next year, hopefully in April.

Wanted to do it this time but I had a really bad cough + flu so doctor said better not. sux

erm although you are asking mbk but since i emailed them b4 and know their prices(rhinoplasty) i shall reply. haha kpo. lol. its 2500USD for a FULL rhinoplasty ie,

1) alarplasty(width reduction or maybe shape of nostrils in some cases),

2)nose implant(I shaped or L shaped up to you/his advice) definitely silicon though, not sure if he offers goretex or not.

3)tip refinement in which the tip is refined as the name suggests, bulbous and fleshy noses will have fibrofatty removed and septal cartilage to be repositioned to achieve tip projection.

thats what yoskarn quoted. like mentioned, don't have to-die-for-dr nara kind of price, but nonetheless, quite reliable and replies are friendly.

what i am confused now is about the tip refinement. as far as i know the ''actual and authentic'' tip refinement is the one i mentioned above. but i also heard there's this other method where they use sutures to TIE the cartilages together, to achieve a NARROW tip, and also of course remove fibrofatty. in this case, septal caretilage for tip PROJECTION and definition is not mentioned. so i'm pretty confused.

hope that helps. :)

Takuda: any type of tip refinement involves nasal cartilage change (grafts, etc) with the exception of using implants where the bride might be more defined without any grafts.

My price was usd 3500 because mine is a more difficult case (and i dont think alarplasty included in mine..doc says mine looks fine).

REALLY?! Why is urs more expensive? well, though i've never seen ur nose b4, i think mine, personally is already VERY serious. skin is thick(including the alar, not just wide but THICK as well) huge nostrils, flat bridge, no tip.

u said any type of tip refinement involves grafting(be it nose/ear whatever) but i seriously doubt so. u knw there was this popular clinic mentioned in this forum b4 in JB? and has a branch in KL? not convenient to mention names, but what they offer is ''either closed or open, closed will be the right side inside the nostrils to 1)remove fibrofatty(causing bulbousness and 2)http://www.therhinoplastycenter.com/centersurgery.html (the SUTURING method)

as you can see, the suturing method does not involve ANY grafting at all, hence it only helps with narrowing and defining but not projection the tip?
well, i'm pretty confused as well. haha. :???:

however, this guy's nose before surgery is not too bad
and the photo for 6 and 7 weeks after surgery
the nasal start point I think is too high....nearly at eye brow
is it natural??? the natural nasal start point is at upper eyelash or slight lower in Asians, right?
I don't know if he is better now?
