Hi shalom,
Dont worry, its normal for your bridge to look so high even after 20 days. My bridge looks super high for the 1st month and even my forhead looks bloated during the 1st month.. its only till the 3rd month onwards then my nose bridge starts to lower down abit and looks normal now. Let it have some time to see results. =)

I did rhinoplasty with "korean implant" at KALO on 09 Aug, till now my nose is still swollen..
Went back to remove stitch on 15/8, Ms Tay my nose healing very well, and the swelling should subside soon. But now is already more than 20 days, my nose, especially the bridge is still very big/ high, not sure if this is selling ( so long??) or they insert too big an implant??
I did an alarplasty 2 years ago in SG, my nose did not swell for so long leh...
Can anyone advise?? Already sleep propped up at night, and take "tian qi" as advised by Ms Tay
Now I am overseas and won't be back til 8 Sep
I am feeling ok, no redness, no fever, wound inside nose is clean...what's wrong?? take so long for swelling to subside??

Oh by the way, does anybody here experiences this: whereby using ur fingers to hold the implant inside ur nose lightly and the implant can actually be moved from left to right using ur fingers??
I've called up kalo to ask regarding this issue which has been disturbing me now... but ms tay told me its normal cos i still have some temp fillers inside my nose that cause the reason y?? hmmm...
Is that normal or abnormal???? HELP~!

I emailed several doctors to ask them if they have heard about the injection which reduces the size of the nose, most of them have not and have expressed concern over the area of melting. This does not concern me but what does concern me is whether the chemical component is safe and would cause damage.
A Taiwanese doctor has said that he has heard of such a product and that it was a steriod but did not or would not address my concern about whether it would be safe. Would anyone know anything about this?

it sounds scary as i imagined u being able to push ur implant to the left, to the right, haha. u used goretex right? i thought by right goretex would have stayed strongly fixated to ur nasal cells by now? or maybe its really fillers? don't worry too much, the most u go back to kalo and ask them check for you.

Cry when you get ripped.

Actually there is probably a reason why most doctors haven't heard of that chemical to reduce your nose. There is probably a reason why its not commonly used as a method to reduce nose size.

actually, if it's used to melt your nose, where will the melted parts go?
it's not like botox. botox paralyse your muscles and causes them to have atrophy over time. but your nose isnt muscles.

Hmm... does it means its abnormal? hmm... for what ms tay told me, she said its goretex but the goretex outside covered with a layer of man made soft bone cartiledge. Yup im going back to kalo to let them see this problem if this is a normal sign not.. sob sob

I thought it would be like mesotherapy where they inject a chemical to melt fats and thee fats will come out as waste through the usual channels. However, i have been told that there isn't much fats in the nose, so the chemical to melt the flash/cartilage would be different and perhaps not as benign.

I guess it depends on what kind of revision.I did revision after abt 5 mths of my nose job and it's kindof the dr. mistake so im being charged medicine and op. theatre fees which is less than 400 bucks

i know everyone thinks that meso actually metls the fats but it doesnt!
i was doing my intern at this plastic surgery clinic and the doctor said that meso actually helps to make the skin stronger(some fiber thing which i dont really understand) so it binds the fats tighter and thus you become slimer. the fats dont really disappear. dont believe go weigh yourself. wouldnt have any weight changes.
i'm quite scared of anything melting actually. cos what if the melted substance never fully pass out of the system but stay there. will it become cancer? ok i think i just kia si(scared death).
