did dr chuang choose the shape for u?
is it more pointy now?
is he in favor to your choice
did he suggest alternative
one PS ever recommend chin implant for me
when i told him about chubbiness
he said healing is nt complicated like cheeks implant or jaw..
but most PS dont recommend i guess its a huge change or ?

Dawn seems to have hers augmented
and her cheeks look more define also
i understand the chin implant can make a face more 3D
is this true?

thanks
Hi Candall,

My answers:

1. Yes, Dr Chuang was the one who choose the shape of the implant for me. Actually, he was the one who suggested I need a chin surgery (because i asked him which part of my face need to improve) - my chin is weak;

2. It is not pointy. I think just an extension of existing one;

3. I didnt choose the shape that i want. He just said i need a chin surgery in order to have a proportionate face; and

4. Lastly, yes, my face is more 3D (more prominent). It elongate my face thus I look more mature and slimmer. A lot of my friends said I had lost weight. No more chubbiness and cuteness.

Cheers!

As you know from my previous posts, I have done mephor or chin surgery with Dr Chuang. Well, it has been a month now and my jaw still feels tight.

After getting various feedback from my friends, the summary is, I look much more mature. The huge difference is; from cute and lovable to mature and sophisticated (I think because of my strong features now).

So Appletree, please choose wisely because we spoke(after your rhino) and I know you like your cute look. Altho chin surgery gives you a proportionate face, however, your cuteness may be gone.

I am pretty satisfied with this chin surgery. I may have lost my cuteness but I have obtained a new look and confidence.

Cheers!!
Hi gal,

Hmm... ur mature = beautiful now... so dont worry about e loss of cuteness.hehe.
Im kinda prepare to throw away my cuteness for a more define chin actually where u take side view pictures is nicer. hehe.
Hey so must wait for how many days before u can put on makeup and soft food for how many days or weeks?? oh no....
Is mephor better than silicone or man made soft bone??

Cheerss~ :P
no la jus feel damn angry at times that ppl ''make use'' of forums mah..then when they need help, they come seek for help. well, u did make contributions! u shared ur b4 and after pic done by kalo. so dun think too lowly of urself yeah. forum suppose to be filled with kaypoh people then i have things to read, haha! anw, i'm interested in medphor thing too. wonder if other than dr chuang offer this? :D

Hehe... no lar cannot say " make use" lar, maybe they really have no more to contribute to their experiences liao leh? hehe.. somemore forum is a virtual place... many people come and go and new ones come in though. So far this thread is still very active, so is consider very good liao. :)

Dear Appletree,

Well you can apply make up after they take off your bandage (after 3 days). However, you will be swelling. At this time, you will hate your look coz you will have a man's chin.. Muahahaha.. Cant eat solid because you cant chew. Must take soft food until your wound has healed. For how many days and weeks i dont know because different ppl have diff recovery speed. The tightness is 100%. Probably after 1 week, the swelling start to subside. You will see the results thereafter. Still, it takes 3 months to see final results.

Mephor is hard and is screwed to your jaw bone. Thus makes it very stable. I dont know how it looks like but i can feel it ( as im touching my chin right now)...

Whether silicon is better than mephor or the other way round, Im not sure. That's for our experts here in this forum to explain.

Cheers!!

Is not that i dont like KOLA, its just that my doctor advice me to do my nose in Thailand because the surgeon there are far more experience and they have seen different type of cases so i assume they might be more skillful.

No doubt, Im tempted to do my nose at KOLA after seeing Yen and your before/after opt picture. I wanted to do tip plasty and alarplasty but i have not come across anyone in this forum doing this 2 procedure in KOLA before.

I think u have start of with a nice nose. Did u do alarplasty or something else? And how much did they charge u? After the opt, the swelling affect only on your nose area or on both the eyes and nose area? Are u able to go home straight after the opt? Sorry for so asking so many question.. hehe..

Nowadays our neighbour country is so dangerous.. theft, rape cases is increasing. Better be safe then sorry. Especially you know they target mainly sg ppl.

SG is way way advanced and u not considering .. if not u can try taiwan, korea, japan more adavanced too though abit ex but its our face we wanna look good not paying $$ to look bad ... think thrice .. u go to kalo thread and READ someone DISCOVER some black stories abt KALO >

Hi, what I'm planning to do is not really considered serious PS. It's just vit C injections for radiant complexion. I've been to Taiwan to do surgeries and the results are not satisfactory. So IMO, it doesn't mean if you do here or Taiwan or Korea, it will definitely turn out better. But anyway, thanks for your advice. :)

And.. somehow your thread can't be link.. :-|
yeah like i say before there are failure cases in the country i mentioned but it will be far more less then JB? since so many cases JB while operating took out ppl organ and sell like kidneY?

Dear All,

Finally I have finished reading Kalo’s thread. It was pretty amusing.

I have never boast my surgeon or his clinic after I have done my surgeries with him. To be honest, I am totally agree with chellequeen. Definitely I have my reasons for saying so. One of it is because I know Yen personally and I’ve spoken to her before.

There is a huge difference between being enthusiastic and hard selling. Not only Kalo but her salon!! Lol!!

Cheers!

hi all,
I have been following this thread for a long time and did I-implant in feb in spore and was thinking of going kalo to do alar..but I heard from someone that they are not very good with alar and that the person have scar at the nostril after doing it. I think it's better to do more research before deciding.
