ellin18 wrote:Dear All,

As you know from my previous posts, I have done mephor or chin surgery with Dr Chuang. Well, it has been a month now and my jaw still feels tight.

After getting various feedback from my friends, the summary is, I look much more mature. The huge difference is; from cute and lovable to mature and sophisticated (I think because of my strong features now).

So Appletree, please choose wisely because we spoke(after your rhino) and I know you like your cute look. Altho chin surgery gives you a proportionate face, however, your cuteness may be gone.

I am pretty satisfied with this chin surgery. I may have lost my cuteness but I have obtained a new look and confidence.

Cheers!!
Lovely news there.... care to share a photo of your new chin? It speaks a thousand words.........:)

Hi girls, it has been 2 weeks+ since my second jab of botox for jaw. It has no effect on me. In fact, I think my face looks squarer. What I mean is really squarer and not rounder. So instead of long, i get square? I don't know if it's my own negative thoughts, which I hope!! I'm planning to go back similar doctor in another 2 weeks to assess again. Can anyone tell me if I should go to another doctor this time or should I go back to the same one? Thankss.

Hi, what I'm planning to do is not really considered serious PS. It's just vit C injections for radiant complexion. I've been to Taiwan to do surgeries and the results are not satisfactory. So IMO, it doesn't mean if you do here or Taiwan or Korea, it will definitely turn out better. But anyway, thanks for your advice. :)

And.. somehow your thread can't be link.. :-|

Hi Jang,

Thanks for the information! Yes yes, doctors in Paragon charges really high! I know cus' I myself am a patient in one of the clinics there and no, it does not help me achieve my objective. So, this has taught me that it doesn't mean that "more expensive relates to better results". Look at the location, they are charging higher and one of the reasons is because of its clinic's high maintenance, especially the rental.

TLC@Orchard is reasonable I'd say. But I've never heard of the clinic before. Do you have a website address for it? Thanks!

Dr Tan's is slightly cheaper than Dr Bc Ng. Are you signing up a package or going for just the first jab? I heard you'd have to go for many jabs? Will it be cheaper if you sign on a package? Hope to hear from you soon!! Would also appreciate if you could tell me the benefits of the vit c and whitening jabs. Loves. :D

VIT C antioxidant drip

Post by candall » Tue, 14 Aug 2007 11:12 pm

hi kwell

ya i m skeptical at first
i know the body doesnt store vit c n it's excreted
but the whitening drip is more than vit c
also has multivitamins
i guess the whitening comes from detoxing of the liver?
its a big pack like u would see in hospital drip
takes 10-20mins to finish

er pls don misunderstand
i m not debating here
or work for pharmaceutical firm
or get commissions
but i really see very nice results
serious after multiple drip the skin glows like a beacon man!

for some of us here,
this drip maybe the only hope to have glowing baby soft skin
compared painful n more costly IPLs
hmm...having hope is better than no hope
sounds silly but tats how some gals function

btw i m a careful customer too
this whitening or vit drip really delivers
but one must prepare to spend money and time lor

don angry k
cos i jus dont want to break hearts over whitening drip
cos this whitening drip is almighty in mine haha

hi kalyn

i think u havent quite see botox works due to the ops on the cheek area
i know they can take really long time to de-swell
sumtimes up to 1 year
this is what many other PS has warn me before

did u take pic?
i will go back same doctor
ask him why
maybe let him administer small touch up dose first
also usually he will make notes on the injection sites
so better go back same doc
cos u don want over botox face as u can look haggard
i have seen before ,quite sad case

Post by candall » Wed, 15 Aug 2007 12:16 am

hi ellin18

did dr chuang choose the shape for u?
is it more pointy now?
is he in favor to your choice
did he suggest alternative
one PS ever recommend chin implant for me
when i told him about chubbiness
he said healing is nt complicated like cheeks implant or jaw..
but most PS dont recommend i guess its a huge change or ?

Dawn seems to have hers augmented
and her cheeks look more define also
i understand the chin implant can make a face more 3D

Hi Kalyn,

I don't have TLC@ Orchard website address, but they are located at Far East shopping ctr basement 1. I do not intent to do my drip wiz them coz not so familiar wiz the docs there.

Like what Dr BC Ng said there are different grade of Vit. C drip and his procedure duration take only 10mins.
I'll check wiz both docs what kind of grade and brand they are using and decide.
1 charge $300 & 1 charge $100-$150, difference in charges maybe bcos 1 is Dr BC NG aesthetic and 1 is Tan-Teoh Clinic
But both Dr Ng & Dr Tan they are the pionner aesthetic in local and personally I felt that they are honest so let me check it out first and will definitely share wiz you all okie!

BTW, this link is what candiesboy wanted to share wiz you:
http://www.singaporeexpats.com/forum/ft ... 0-180.html
which you can't open.

Hey there...

Thanks for your post - I didn`t know there is the whitening drip which does sound very tempting (No... i like it tan haha) but yes if it makes your overall complexion glow and more, WHYNOT? INTERESTING!! Yes, Vitamin C really doesnt work very well alone because it gets excreted too far and cannot be stored. Let me check the other drip out..... my mum might be very pleased.

Thanks heaps ................:)

PS( angry ? LOL .......... am all good lady..... just my style)
