Gossips exist even for very successful surgeries.

Look at Dawn Yeo in Singapore, she had transformed into a beauty progressively, but look at the comments hurled across daily!
There are many speculations about this significant change , all attributing her undergoing plastic surgery.

Take it easy, people will say anything about almost every one. You decide your life, not people's comments . Focus on your goals, forget about opinions matter, get rid of the discouragement and weed out uncontructive thoughts to your life.

Be realistic to yourself, you will be able to accept situations, knowing what to keep and what's garabge to maintain your goals.
Agreed!

Ocuh ! My nose !!!

The Thai girl's nose is certainly deformed and out of shape, those nostrils are horrific looking, the bridge is uneven especially so under the lights!!! the only feature I think is acceptable is her eyes - looks very natural and all hers!!! her chin is too extended and pointed making her face overly enlongated with a witch (or mango) chin !!! - OUT OF BALANCE !!!

Sorry but keeping it all real here.

Ohh...i just know how it feels to have had multiple nose jobs and still craving for more to improve the blotched job done!!! it is still the nose delicate and difficult surgery on the face and if something is NOT right, it shows BIG TIME COS IT IS CENTRAL on the face !!

Now, what are you unhappy about your nose?? Perhaps some photos would do the trick? Am a nose "expert" and I happen to know it all so to speak .....:)) Guys noses are especially important to maintain and/or preserve masculinity!!1

Post Op swelling (nose)

Post by kwelll » Wed, 11 Jul 2007 7:06 pm

So we all are having some problems with post op swelling, eh??? Join the club !!! My second lower half looks like a potatoe now..... the tip is darn red and swells like there is not tomorrow (my other Korean mates' swelling have all subsided and looking really cool, albeit one who had 3 surgeries done by Dr Jung cried in his office today - this time smaller than expected !!!!)

The trick to deswell is really to TAPE you nose really tight across the face especially during rest - it really helps to bring down the swelling albeit it wont last very long when one is awake!!!! Its horrible to have a huge nose tip mine looks very bulbous now and making me really frustrated cos the height looks great!!! Patience is the key I suppose...... Not sure if the nose is lengthened or not, will judge in another 10-14 days time. (takes at least 3-4 weeks for 70% swelling to disappear especially those open rhinoplasties).

My nose is beginning to look like Kim Dong Wan's - so can envisage the final look albeit I can freely admit patience is not my virtue!!! LOL

Hi everyone,

I had revision double eyelid + epicanthoplasty + fat graft to upper eyelid with Dr Chuang. My eyes are still swollen and looking asymmetrical.

One question for those of you gals who did epicanthoplasty... my scar looks really obvious (red and raised). Dr Chuang only gave me this Vitamin lotion to put on it, and Dr Seah asked me to massage it everyday.

I was just wondering if you guys are putting any sort of cream on yours? Dr Chuang said that I didn't need to put anything on my scar. I guess I am pretty conscious because now I have alot of scarring around my eye area... from the old epicanthoplasty scar and from the new one.

Thanks!

Hi leenaaaa,

how are you doing?

When there are more operations it takes longer to heal. For med epi, scarring is more pronounced than for just bleph alone, and since you had a revision, I would imagine it would take longer to heal. You should post your question on makemeheal blepharoplasty section, maybe someone there could help you out. I know one girl who got med epi from someone else and she still had scarring at 2 months. med epi scars take a while to fade, cuz that region is sensitive. This same girl used some sort of scar removal gel...Hope that helps a little.

May I ask, how come you got a fat graft and what was the reason you wanted a revision?
Thank you for considering my questions.

Best of luck to you,
take care,
i's

Hi there,
I am planning to have an otoplasty and I was quite shocked to read that you did yours many times... What actually happen do you mind telling me? What could have gone wrong? Which doctor did you go to? Hope you manage to find a good revision doctor.

hi i's

i was trying to start up my old laptop hoping i saved some links but it just refused to start up and the keyboard is down too.. :(
see if have any luck during the weekends..will surely let u know
i think i saved them hopefully, its like 2-3 years ago and hopefully its THIS laptop.
i remember the webs she told me have season when they invite famous korean PS like inhouse training and at the same time for ops as well.
i actually have browse the web
it will have info of the korean doctor and the celebrities done by him one was a sex change one. do u know? i tink she is very pretty!
korean doctor usually make the woman very sweet which i like
i was so excited when i first knew about korean PS, i think their work is the best..but i just never get into it cos no $$$$
btw the content is only in mandarin so it is very tedious to read for me
one of the common cities they visit include shenzhen cos a lot of taiwanese and hongkongers go there..i am quite sure of this cos then it was most relevant to me cos it is the nearest and cheapest..

sorry i have only this now when i have more time i try to check on my old laptop again
can u read mandarin?
overhere no one ever mention china, but i think what u looking for is not hard for them to tell us..
recently i started buying this taiwan magazine about PS and introductions of the surgeons, quite insightful but its all in mandarin
btw dont rush into PS, we must know what we exactly want like how many mm tat sort of details, and pics..so we can tell the doctor and post care and expectations..

nite

leenaaaa - Did they have to cut the skin from the eyelid for the old higher eyelid crease?
I'm looking to do an eyelid revision later this year and probably fix my epicanthal fold too.

How long ago did you have the other surgeries before this recent one? I know that
with revision that it takes longer to heal than originally so that's probably why your eyes are
uneven right now. It's still quite early and the eye area is quite sensitive. 8-)

Edited due to scrolling - Can we not quote those with super long links? Quite difficult to be scrolling sideways

actually, i think that if it's crooked teeth and all, the best is to get braces instead o veneers. sure, it's definitely longer than venners and slightly more painful but the results are more permanant. veneers can last you ten years max and even then you need to take care of it properly. it can be very expensive too.

for braces i think alfred cheong is very good! venners though, i'm not so sure.

I have same problem with you,but i think my swelling in the side of nose not going down much.i really worried about this too.i have talked with dr.Chuang but he said i must wait for 2-3 month for the final result.
my tip also still rounded and swelling too.

Hi who,can you tell me how long the tip of the nose after the rhinoplasty will getting smaller and the swelling of side the nose bridge will healing?
Please i really need your opinion, because i really worried about this?

Thanks
Same problem for me too.I did rhinoplasty with dr Chuang (in the middle of june) and now I realize that my nose is very crooked and looks weird (dixit my sister),one of my side is lower than the other, maybe because it's more swelling than ther other side...I don't know  The thing is I 'm really scare about the final result....It's been one month now and my nose is crooked, not straight,my tip is stil bulbous and my bridge is too high :???: I really think to do a revision or something else.
I wonder why dr Chuang didn't tell me to wear a harness for at least one week.In France or USA,people who did rhinoplasty used to wear harness after the surgery but not in Taiwan...Is it usual??
Lapomme, who is really scared about her fake and crooked nose    Aaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!

Hi i's,

Yea I know that there are tonnes of creams out there like Mederma and stuff but I dunno which is effective. So far I have only ever used the one that was prescribed to me when I had my first op.. but you can't get it here!

The scarring for my epicanthoplasty scar are at different areas.

I got a fat graft because I don't have enough fat in the upper eyelid region. I got a revision to my eyelids and epicanthal fold because the crease from my first surgery was barely visible and there was only a slight difference in terms of the epicanthoplasty procedure.

Babyk,

Yes my first double eyelid surgery was incisional. Did you use any sort of cream/gel on your scars?
