implants for forehead is difficult to look natural. for natural look, fat implant is still best.

no, it is not a minor procedure like botox. downtime is about 2 weeks for swelling. (I look like a pig head now!) incision is very small n hidden within hairline.
244522 wrote: oh mine. can we use radio frequency to lift our brows too since young as a preventive procedure. will that help?

by the way what's the recovery time of traditional lift. thanks.
yes, you may but careful of overdoing like me. i did rf and thermage. the end results were good cos i was overweight tho i lost the weight the skin texture was a little loose. rf and thermage helped to lift the flesh and skin BUT my forehead and temple became too bony after. thus, yeah, alamak, got to do fat implant to puff these areas to look fuller.

be careful of choosing what treatment on which area. thermage esp. will make one's skin taut but will reuce volume which will age a person's face.

traditional lift's downtime is oso abt 2 weeks.

haha, i do spend a lot of money on my face. but hey, if it makes me happy and feel good it is justifiable. moreover, as i get older my suitors get younger.

p.s. dun mean to be rude but korean food quite one dimensional.... the flavouring is limited so if you eat beef, chicken or fish, they start to taste all alike after 2 meals. once my pighead swell lessen, i must cook my own food. otherwise, i see my apetitie zero-ing and it is bad for recovery.
hey DMN

Thanks for educating me.
I like what your attitude, "haha, i do spend a lot of money on my face. but hey, if it makes me happy and feel good it is justifiable. moreover, as i get older my suitors get younger. "

she did nose, eyes and chin at least! omg! chin implant really that good? i tot it will(may) cause erosion(or is it jaw?)?it may cause shifting/displacement of implant?! is it really forever like someone previously mentioned? if it does, i wanna have chin augmentation plus get rid of double chin!
I personally thing for this, its important to really choose a good doctor. I asked my doctor he say I dont need to worry, there's a lot of miscommunication going around. But my doctor service was really good, his nurse called, and 3 days later I am visiting for check up, and also in 3 weeks later time, he make sure I am really okay.

one question. actually donor's cartilege is not yur won cartilege right? so wouldnt your body still treat it as a foreign object?

anyway, dr quote me 12000USD for face shaping. DMN, if you still seeing dr jung, can help me ask if it's for both procedures altogether or is it for each procedure. and how long the down time? thanks hor.

so where are you staying now?
yeah, sharp tip oso can but must be very fleshy. so round tip is more secured in tt sense.

actually, pls note Dr. Jung is authority for nose. bone shaving is done by another doc. that i checked before. so pls consider before doing all with his clinic cos bone shaving is a delicate procedure.

i m staying in a apartment on 6th floor ofhis clinic building. it is minimally equipment with a kitchenette n just a bed, tv. But i prefer it this way cos I m near him for any complications. I m not a shopper so location is not an issue for me.

In fact, I just finish washing up the place.... and just re-do the dressing for my waist - 1st time since op. They took 120 gram of fats from my waist n can see i must hv gone down by an inch. :-) But got brusing n must wear the protector to make sure my flesh n skin stick together for 2 weeks.

Ah...the pain I take to look good. haha!

WTH, I never got an email saying there were replies to this thread even though I got one last time?? :???:

The swelling in between my nose has gone down alot and my eyes still feel like it's straining some muscles to open all the way.

I'm wanting to get the silicon taken out and go to Korea to get it redone with Goretex with a cartilage tip.

I had a few questions that maybe some of you guys know the answer to....

1) Does a cartilage tip mean that you can move the tip of your nose around? Something that you can't really do with the L shaped silicon.....

2) When they take cartilage from your ear, is it from like the top part of your ear that curves in? It just seems like they would need a pretty nice size chunk to reshape the tip and I'm thinking it would look weird with that amount taken out of my ear.....

Btw, I love reading about everyone's experience with surgery. I hope everyone heals up well and just remember to be give it time to look really good (hard I know) :)

DMN: cool! youve been studying chinese metaphysics for so long! i've always been interested in metaphysics and the cosmos for as long as i can remember. since i was very very young but i find that to understand most chinese metaphysics, especially things lik fengshui and more intricate things like zhi wei dou shu, you need to read the chinese versions and oh... my chinese is so bad. :x

how much does the appartment cost?

actually, i'm quite interested in baby's first qns as well. can you still do the piggy nose thing after surgery?

my nose ok la.. height now hmm.. can accept lor.. but heard it will go down bout 20% again, if like that, will be too low liao.. so let see how...
The only thing i cant take it now is the tip!! still very bulbous lor.. DMN said 1-2 mths.. i doubt la.. it will take more then that.. me going to be a mth liao, still look rounded to me.. mabe last time my quite sharp, so i cant accept this bulbous tip now. Wat i am afriad now was, it going to be bulbous like that :o .. cos ear cartilage not like L implant.. the tip is sharper, but ofcos as time goes by.. the tip will be too sharp and became very fake for L.

But i really don like the bulbous tip, look very manly!! :o nobody can tell me how much more will it subside after 3 mths lay here.. sigh...

mine was been charge 4500USD.
Hi Ocean, you're not the only one. My height of the nose has went down a little too. From the left side view, the height looks just nice. But from the right side view, the height looks too high. I wonder if anyone else is facing this? Does this mean that my implant is crooked or is it just that the swelling on one side is more? Thanks for any reply.

We're similar on the bulbous tip! I find that my tip before was sharper than now too, and that this tip is very round now. It has been 16 days since surgery. I guess we'll only have to wait for it to deswell cus the tip takes the longest to subside... Do your nose stil feels numb?

Hope it gets better everyday! :)

Hi Kalyn,

Thanks! You have a super speedy recovery too!

I think better wait 3 months at least befor exercising.

Try to eat 5 small meals and spread over 3hrs interval and drink lots of water. I did this to lose 12kg in 3 mths (with execise but not killer routine) and am doing now in Seoul to boost my metabolism to heal. This is a stop-gap method which will boost metabolism rate and compensate yr lack of exercise.

cheers,
dmn
Thanks girl, for the suggestions. I eat a lot and I don't drink water! It's a kinda habit, that's why I hope to do yoga or some gym to compensate on that. You lost 12kg in 3 months! That's amazing. How I wish I can just lose 2kg. You must be very satisfied!! I guess everyone is different, cus I can never lose my weight...... I'm always stucked at 41, can't even lose that 1kg :???:

Hey dear, nice to hear that your swelling went down 50%! So you're back to your normal activities? I'm still very much healing, don't know why my swell takes longer than normal to subside :(

My side of the bridge of my nose is still very big. You mean the upper bridge in between the eyes or the lower bridge along the tip? I think it's normal to feel tight cus we only did it for 2 weeks plus. Are you satisfied with your new nose now? I think my nose is too big, nostrils still wide and bridge too high. I'm really hoping its the swell, I've been complaining everyday!

Hi everybody,

been following this forum for the longest time (like 3mths?! cos there's so much to read up!!!)

Finally, managed to finish evrything.Like everyone who is on this forum, i'm keen to do some surgery, mainly rhino.

So, juz to give u "Seniors" a clue, my nose look kinda of the nose mentioned in ocean11 link of this chinsgal. But seriously, saw her post op pic, the doc din seem to do much to her nose except for the raise in bridge.her nose still look kinda same.I find her nose still bulbous and wide.

So juz wanted to ask, if with her nose, do i need to do the full op?

Oh and lastly, read somewhere in the forum that someone went to do a lip reduction. Is that the procedure to reduce the thickness of lips or the width of the mouth?Kinda of confused over it. See, i have a mouth which is kinda wide so.... thinkin abt it!!!! :P

I guesss you're refering to me doing lip reduction? Yes, it is to reduce the thickness of your lips, it does not change the shape of your mouth. I think wideness of mouth refer to the shape of your mouth? Maybe you can email the doctor of your choice to ask :)
