some cold pack should be fine. just put it on for 10 mins, let it rest for 5 mins and then repeat the steps every 2 hours.(saw from television programe where this female star was told by her doctor to do this)

as for the mini fold, i think you should really clarify with your doctor.

other than that, hope you're happy with your eye soon!

oops, sorry, haven;t been checking in for past 2 days...
my nose (and my fren's as well) healed in abt 8 days so ppl wun stare liao, but u shld still see it shrink over the next few mths...

for eyelids, i can only say it really depends on individual, my fren took 2 weeks and it looked pretty normal for her; mine took like 1.5 mths b4 i stopped looking like i was from a garfield comic. dr nara used the toothpick to show u how thick it wld be right? mine have settled down and look like what he showed me at the start...

i remember the eyelid stitching was a little painful, but apparently they need us to be conscious during the eyelid surgery, i was totally unconscious when he did my nose...

i can understand what u r going thru, but i wld advise only going out 2 weeks after surgery , cos by then, everything wld have gone down liao
Next: Forehead augmentation, botox, RF

Then he told me after 5 days i could go out already.. I think my nose is alright already.. except it still hurts abit.. Its only the eyes i guess,,, been putting ice pack on my eyes man.. haha hopefully to bring the swell down also..

babyk wrote:I just got a nasal implant and eyelids done a week ago from a Chinese doctor in Houston. Two questions for those that have had it done....

1) Is it normal for your eyes to feel like you can't open them all the way and the muscle is holding your eyes back?

2) The implant I got is a silicon implant and the very top in between my eyes and above is really swollen and protrudes outwards instead of inward. Is this normal?

If this surgery didn't turn out good, I'm wanting to go to Korea and get my surgeries redone. I hope that's not the case and I'm just being impatient. 8-)
hi i can anwser your first question. its normal for eyes to be like that, if you tend to have more water retentions, or swell, or higher eyelid done, the less likely you can open your eyes like normal. I cant remember mine, but i took a while maybe 2 weeks to 1 month to open up.

ALL fat injection need to do at least 2 times. After that normal course of aging comes in i.e. 2-5 yrs later need to re-do if you wanna keep the forehead augmented.

cheers,
you mean the forehead augementation is done through fat injection, not by implant. so its a minor process right, just like botox? correct me if i am wrong.

hahas. willpower is by far, the best method. the rest is for pple who needs that extra boost. jiayou! praying still for you in sg. there are pple who are SELLING their cartilege in korea? that's just miraculous. actually take from waist better i think. take from thighs, later one thigh big, one thigh small then not very nice right? or maybe you can request to take from thighs the next time you go for the injections again? was in painful? that xuchunmei(ah mei jie) keeps on saying it hurts a lot larh. pple who have cried larh. how brave she is for not crying at all.

what does a brow lift do? is it the preocedure where they reduce your lines at your forehead? or is it to redue lines around your eyes? or just to lift our eyebrows(so got more space for lovely eyeshadows.) some shows always show how stars who get lifts of any kind lose control over their facial expression. can you still move your brows?

but really hope that you make a speedy recovery.

speedy recover...speedyrecovery...speedy recover (chants like a mad monk)

babyk: it's normal because of swelling and because the tissues are healing. dont try to force them open too much. give it time.(like one month?)
i think xu chun mei has no fats thus wherever she extract sure painful one.

my forehead is like expanding n swelling now. that's where the discomfort is for fat transplant.

Brow lift does not gives artificial expression. More like Botox. Only in extreme pulling of forehead, you will get the rubbery stretched look.

Mine is traditional lift. i.e. Dr Jung made 2 incisions ea on ea brow to lift the brows. I dun need to lift my forehead cos I hv almost no winkles on forehead n no sagging skin. Also, doing forehead lift will go against my fat transplant treatment. I need to lift my brows cos 1. imbalance 2. due to aging process all of us will see our brow lowering from 25-28 yrs old onwards. 3. preventive - so that I dun hv to do same when I am 40.
oh mine. can we use radio frequency to lift our brows too since young as a preventive procedure. will that help?

by the way what's the recovery time of traditional lift. thanks.

hi

sharing my stories

i just did a chin implant yesterday afternoon, and it was not pain at all. But today when I woke up, i can feel my skin tighteness and a little pain. feeling a little scare. The nurse called me to see if I am fine this morning, and she just explained to me I'll be in pain for 2 days but as long as I take the medicine the doctor give, it will be good and tolerable.

currently i dont really feel comfortable sleeping straight, i am used to sleep sideways. does anyone know if we have to sleep straight forever?

and for those who have short face and wide face, i think chin implant does make a difference.

i did my chin using high quality silicon implant made from US and I asked the doctor and he say it will last me forever.

I did the internal method, and it doesnt swell much, its great. in fact, if i dont have this plaster on my face, i can go out already. Total operation took me 1.5 hours, which I feel satisfied, cause earlier in the forunn, someone mentioned if the doctor do too fast, it might not be good.

Haha, i am given 6 different kind of medicines, got sleeping, de swelling, sinnech and... somemore cannot brush teeth for these 3 days. monday will be going back for check up. wish me luck. hoping to going out and removing my plaster soon.

Hi DMN, wish you've a speedy recovery yah!

Anyway, thanks people for concern. It has been two weeks for me. My nose is getting bigger each day. The nostrils seem to be expanding everyday. I can't really be bothered by it already cus it's so maddening. Actually, I don't see a slimming down of my facial contour too after the cheek lipo and jaw botox. Maybe it's still the swelling, or maybe it's my expectations too high? I will conclude again after a month I guess.

Anway, Yanti, how are you doing? Is your nose and chin healing well? Hope it is ya!

Can I ask, how long do we have to wait before we can do exercise? Is it okay to do yoga/pilates? I wanna go sign up for classes already cus I've been eating and not exercising! Thanks!

i think she's korean. but i think most of us with inner double eyelids wont experience such drastic change. it's only those that have puffy lids and very single eyelids(aka. the typical korean eyelid) that will experience such a great change.

so how's your nose ow? is it what you want? btw, how much did you pay? cos DMN only paid 4000. or is it cos she did a lot of procedures?

i'm kinda curious. what surgery does dr jung do anyway? on his website he seems to be able to do nose only. but he is doing so many things!

implants for forehead is difficult to look natural. for natural look, fat implant is still best.

no, it is not a minor procedure like botox. downtime is about 2 weeks for swelling. (I look like a pig head now!) incision is very small n hidden within hairline.

yes, you may but careful of overdoing like me. i did rf and thermage. the end results were good cos i was overweight tho i lost the weight the skin texture was a little loose. rf and thermage helped to lift the flesh and skin BUT my forehead and temple became too bony after. thus, yeah, alamak, got to do fat implant to puff these areas to look fuller.

be careful of choosing what treatment on which area. thermage esp. will make one's skin taut but will reuce volume which will age a person's face.

traditional lift's downtime is oso abt 2 weeks.

haha, i do spend a lot of money on my face. but hey, if it makes me happy and feel good it is justifiable. moreover, as i get older my suitors get younger.

p.s. dun mean to be rude but korean food quite one dimensional.... the flavouring is limited so if you eat beef, chicken or fish, they start to taste all alike after 2 meals. once my pighead swell lessen, i must cook my own food. otherwise, i see my apetitie zero-ing and it is bad for recovery.
