you brave girl DMN.
How much did he charge in all? can you help me ask him if he's busy during late nov/dec like that? might choose him to do the face shaping after all. cos got more trust in him i guess.
where did you get your autologus fats from?
by donor's cartilege you mean from your ear right? 4k should be considered discounted price cos i read on his website it's 5.5k he's so nice. actually hor, if the nurses makes you stay at the clinic but you've got other places to stay(like hotel) then wouldnt you waste your hotel $$$? how much for a room upstairs of the clinic?
you give me so much courage to go for face shaping also.
can you tell us how much you pay in total?(or cost breakdown also can hee)
BUT
try not to smoke hor. smoking increases scarring potential and a lot of other undesirable effects. one way of not smoking(i heard larh) is to drink green tea! something about the caffeine in tea helping you. of course after op cannot drink caffeine stuff buti think green tea has a lot of other good benefits to cover the caffiene thing so try lorh? another way is to suck on sweets or chew gum. keep your mouth busy.
good luck!
ocean 11: where is your scar at? is it visible? actually roughly how long(normally) does it take for the scar to be not visible?

serendpitY: i think you can go check out dr. menrok's site. just google and you should be able to find it. it has a lot of valuable information about the healing rate of double eyelid surgery.
i think swelling takes around 1 month to fully go down(ie. look normal) it will continue to deswell over the course of a year but most pple see their results by 3-6 months.
can take more vitamin c as well as pineapple. helps to deswell and improve healing. cold pack helps as well.

It depends on wat surgery u r doing and how fast u recover. Healing is very individual though but u can take sineech to help u. I went out walking n shopping around after abt a week. Eyes still swollen but I dun care haha cuz noone will bother to stare at u since its so common there.. not like sg lorz..
Dr C does eyebrow implant too u can check with him.

Hi there, did u do double eyelid? Eyes swelling takes time to go down.. u r onli less than a wk aftr op its normal to be still swollen. Continue to do ur hot compress to help in bringing the swelling down. U shd see improvement in another wk. U can wear sunglasses to hide if u wana go out? If u r really uncomfortable then wait for it to get better 1st before u go out. Be patient my dear..serendpity wrote:Hi Advaark... just did my ps with dr nara.. did my eyes and nose... its been 5 days since the surgery.. just wantd to know, how long did it take you before you could go out.. i wanna go out.. but my eyes damn alienated now.. haiz.... Bulbous tip takes 1-2 months to subside. Scar shld be gone witin 6 mths He uses 7knot nylon stitch most of the time. So shld not be a problem.
cheers,
dmn
ALL fat injection need to do at least 2 times. After that normal course of aging comes in i.e. 2-5 yrs later need to re-do if you wanna keep the forehead augmented.takuda wrote:i also want to use own fats for forehead augmentation..but how long does it last? dr chuang say for forehead, absorption rate of injected fats very high, need to do for 2/3 more times, whereas places like chin do one time can already..dun think it's permanent..
cheers,
I just got a nasal implant and eyelids done a week ago from a Chinese doctor in Houston. Two questions for those that have had it done....
1) Is it normal for your eyes to feel like you can't open them all the way and the muscle is holding your eyes back?
2) The implant I got is a silicon implant and the very top in between my eyes and above is really swollen and protrudes outwards instead of inward. Is this normal?
If this surgery didn't turn out good, I'm wanting to go to Korea and get my surgeries redone. I hope that's not the case and I'm just being impatient.

i paid 7750usd in total. 4K for nose, 2700usd for fat transplant (need to come back 2 more times for the rest of treatments) and 1050usd for brow lift. The rest free.
I chose to extract fats from my waist area. Apparently, I shld hv chosen inner thigh or butt cos a Korea girl I met today said fats from those areas last the longest and dun be absorbed tt much/fast.
No, by donor I meant a real donor (actually someone somewhere who sold their cartilage). In the end, he only used my inner nose cartilage+donor's cartilage + goretex. My ears' safely intact.
Actually, I did fat transplant to forehead and temple to balance out my protruding cheek. This helps to avoid cheek bone shaving or reduction op. Cos I am in my late 30s, shaving or reducing my cheekbones may mean I need to do 2 times full works face lift to save my skin structure on smaller cheeks. Not worth the trouble. Dr Jung thinks this is the best alternative as fat transplant will not create new problem vs. bone shaving/reduction. Not to mention- risk of such procedures.
Yeah, I will persist by using my WILL POWER to quit smoking. thanks!

thanks DMN!
hahas. willpower is by far, the best method. the rest is for pple who needs that extra boost. jiayou! praying still for you in sg. there are pple who are SELLING their cartilege in korea? that's just miraculous. actually take from waist better i think. take from thighs, later one thigh big, one thigh small then not very nice right? or maybe you can request to take from thighs the next time you go for the injections again? was in painful? that xuchunmei(ah mei jie) keeps on saying it hurts a lot larh. pple who have cried larh. how brave she is for not crying at all.
what does a brow lift do? is it the preocedure where they reduce your lines at your forehead? or is it to redue lines around your eyes? or just to lift our eyebrows(so got more space for lovely eyeshadows.) some shows always show how stars who get lifts of any kind lose control over their facial expression. can you still move your brows?
but really hope that you make a speedy recovery.
speedy recover...speedyrecovery...speedy recover (chants like a mad monk)
babyk: it's normal because of swelling and because the tissues are healing. dont try to force them open too much. give it time.(like one month?)

Thanks for the answer foubelle! I was starting to think he really messed me up!
The also another reason for my concern is that above my right crease there was a dot before. I asked the dr. before he took out the stitches and he said it was just a stitch poking out (What the hell was a stitch doing up there!?) A few days later that dot created a mini second fold above the long crease!! I hope he can fix that
Now if anyone can reassure me I'll look normal with the big protruding swelling above above my bridge I'll be fine until I see the doctor Tuesday lol

my forehead is like expanding n swelling now. that's where the discomfort is for fat transplant.
Brow lift does not gives artificial expression. More like Botox. Only in extreme pulling of forehead, you will get the rubbery stretched look.
Mine is traditional lift. i.e. Dr Jung made 2 incisions ea on ea brow to lift the brows. I dun need to lift my forehead cos I hv almost no winkles on forehead n no sagging skin. Also, doing forehead lift will go against my fat transplant treatment. I need to lift my brows cos 1. imbalance 2. due to aging process all of us will see our brow lowering from 25-28 yrs old onwards. 3. preventive - so that I dun hv to do same when I am 40.
