I think even 3 months on I'm still a bit nervous in seeing people in case they say something but just normal friends dont even seem to notice. The first 1-2 months I didnt really want to see anyone and it was hard for me to face anyone I didnt trust.

botox on the jaw was my first time yes.

Yeah you going to get most of the swelling in the fat-lipo in your lower cheeks it should graudally go down slowly in terms of swelling. I wore the headband on the loosest setting but it still felt painful and I would only be able to sleep for 3-4 hours before I had to take it off for awhile. You could do what I did which was when I'm watching tv or doing nothing I would put my hands on my face to push my face into the v-shape. Also having warm towel on the face is good but not too hot.

Yeah your bridge will keep going down my bridge looked alien also looking back at the photos in the first couple of weeks.

Hope you heal quickly and just make sure you do some walking each day, get fresh air etc... since it helps with the healing.

Jase
Hi Jase, thanks for your reply. It's really comforting to know someone had similar experience as what I'm going through now and that he looks really good now. How I wish I can just skip the whole healing process and reach the final results

Yes yes, I could only sleep for at most 3 hours and I have to take it off cause it hurts my jaw. Even when I 'm wearing it while awake, I can only put it on for 2 hours, it's just too uncomfortable.

I hope the bridge of my nose will go down. I understand how it feels to be very self-conscious in public, cus I was like this too when I'd to fly back to Sg from Taipei. But judging from your photos, you look naturally good. I heard it takes up to a year to see the final results of the nose do your nose might get even nicer. By the way, can I ask if the bridge of your nose(the one in between the eyes) go down alot within the 3 months? Thanks so much :)

Hello Everybody,

After reading most of the post, i'm confused :???: of going to which surgeon who is skillful and great experience in rhinoplasty in Singapore, price range from SGD 2k - 3.5k (reasonable). I wont consider of Dr. Woffle. Although he is professional in plastic surgery but the price are extremely unreasonable!! *Sad*.. Anyone has gone before the under-mentioned surgeons for rhinoplasty, pls tell me your feedbacks. Thank you!!

Dr Fong Poh - Thomson Medical

Dr Martin Huang - Paragon Medical Centre

Dr Seah - Sinova Medical Centre, Paragon Medical.

Dr Hong Soon Wan - Mt Eliz Hospital

Dr Colin - SGH

i think your best bet might be either dr fong or dr seah. not much info/recomendations about dr hong. or it might just be that i'm suaku. but either way, go for consultation for all three of these doctors. dicuss with them the results you want. see their previous results and follow your gut feeling on whoever you feel is right.

all the best!

Kalyn,
my tip also still very round after 3 weeks, so urs only 11th days.. Ang la! still early stage.. now my nose height actually showed alittle bit higher then expected now, so no worries about no diff, sure have diff once u op. did u do silicone or goretex?? alar not enough? hmm.. i think u belong to those that take longer time to deswell one, cos normally after 11th days the swell will go down alot liao.. so u have to see after everything go down then u can tell the diff.. as for the tip i mentioned just now, it really will take very long time..
kalyn wrote:Hi people, this is my 11th day post op, and the swelling on my face, lips and nose hasnt really go down at all. My face is still puffy after the lipo, my lips are healing but the results after my lips reduction is not apparent. Hopefully, it is the swelling.

I'm most worried about my nose. I find that the size of my nose isn't much of a difference, which means the alar reduction is not good enough. Also, my tip is really round! The worst thing is that I find that my upper bridge ( the one inbetween our eyes) is way too high :o I definitely look weird from the side view! Sigh.. will this bridge actually go down? Can someone please advise me? I think my nose looked really fake now. :(

Hi Ocean, I did silicone cus Dr. C said I'd abit of natural height already and he recommend silicone for easy revision in future(in any). I actually think my nose tip and sides are getting bigger each day. I'm very worried this will be it. And so unlucky, I lost my laptop at Taipei airport before I fly back, so I lost all my photos, now I can't open old photos and compare my nose. Sighh :x

is it Dr Hong Soo Wan? i emailed him before..

Augmentation rhinoplasty with silicone implant is done by inserting it through a small cut insdie the nose over the bridge. the procedure takes about 1 hour under local anaesthesia. The cost of surgery is $2500.

At the same time if there is broad rounded tip which needs refininig, the tip cartilage can be tirmmed and repositioned. The cost of tip rhinoplasty is $1800 to $2500

If the alar is also broad and overhanging, the side can be trimmed or reshaped by alarplasty under local anaesthesia. The cost of surgery is $2500. The recovery time for all the 2 procedures above is about 1 week.

Dr Hong Soo Wan
Consultant Plastic Surgeon

this was what he replied, so if you do the calculation, it exceeds ur budget, if u need the usual implant+alar+tip..and he does everything inside, so that can be good and bad.. :)
