i like the oriental girl's results best! i lik her ne nose. slightly caucasian in nature(that tuip! look at that wonderful tips!) but not overtly fake like dawnyang's. one thing i've realised is that their bridge all looks kinda stumpy(if that's the word). like if you look at the normal bridge, it's more like a natural curve/slove around the bridge area.(if you look from the nostrils up) but those who did surgery before will have this \_/(it's upside down. look at it the other way) flat part before sloping down again.

DMN: good luck for the surgery. dont be nervous k? discuss with the doctor properly. will you be using your rib cartilage? wont it leave a scar on your ribs area?then cannot wear bikini already next time. silly question, bbut after they cut the cartilage for your nose, will the cartilage at your original place grow back?

Thanks! I think my main concern is 'faked' look. But of course, I am minimising my risk by many times with Dr. Jung and autologous materials.

No idea abt if cartilage will grow back. I suppose not.

More links to a Taiwanese doctor, Dr. Hsu, who has learnt from Dr Toriumi. He is young but is good with autologous implants giving very natural look:

http://www.ychsu.com
http://mypaper.pchome.com.tw/news/hsuyc ... centerFlag
(nose - autologous material + chin - silicon)

According to him, Dr. Toriumi, Dri Tobias in States, ear/inner nose cartilages are capability of increasing bridge height by 0.1-0.4mm AND to use for nose tip lengthening. If the patient requires, more height rib cartilage may be sort. Thus, artificial - silicon & goretex - are no longer necessary for today's technique available to ENT specialist (who are more capable than normal plastic surgeon to extract these materials).....That is unless one wanna look like DawnYang or has taste for silicon-reflective-nose.

Hey DMN! finally it ur turn!! hehe..

u sure u wanna to full autologous?? actually at 1st i did tot of it.. but it really quite a major op for nose.. and it is very high risk as well, cos the rib cartilage might out of shape in overtime too.. i saw it from some website.. the guy rib protrouding after awhile! gosh.. none of the material are safe, even ur own cartilage!
that is why i give up on the autologous idea.. nvr know it doesnt work after a while, and u left a scar on ur body too..

have u make the appt with ah Jung? u gonna stay at his clinic upstair huh?spoken to the jung's patient the china gal. she said damn small and boring one wor..

but no matter wat.. good luck to u hor..

Hi all,

Sorry been awhile since my last update. Seems like quite a number of us going to Dr Chuang lately no wonder he is so super bz lahz!

I posted earlier that I just did my eyes & nose with Dr Chuang.
Now 2wks post op and swelling has gone down quite abit.

For those interested, I have updated some pics to share with u all http://s172.photobucket.com/albums/w7/Jerlis101/

Eyes still look very much swollen but I've received positive comments on them. I'm told my eyes look eurasian now I'm not sure why cuz I didnt do any forehead augmentation, but I did one more procedure which I duno wat is it called but according to Dr C, it is to 'lift' up the eyelid so the eyelashes curl upwards n opens up the eyes making them bigger. I suppose this is the reason for my sunken eye look now? Or it maybe due to the swelling still
As for nose, tip is still swollen n appear round n fleshy still. But from the side can see the tip abit sharp.. but I still prefer a sharper tip lah especially from the front view haha :P I know for nose the swelling still have a long way to go n final results may be in 2-3mths? So hopefully the shape turns out nice enough :) Pray hardz hehz..
I'm quite satisfied with the results I see so far and this has changed abt 60% of my overall looks from before especially the eyes. Feedbk frm frens r that I look like eurasian now due to the eyes which is wat I like cuz my old face is too flat :-| So anyway those who wana do eyes n nose together, do be prepared this is going to change ur overall looks quite abit so if you're not comfortable do consider properly first

angeluv,

Your after results look amazing (haha told that many times already but its true!)... so sad i couldn't come with you :( Hope i can finally get it done in Sep/October.

Be patient cause it takes 2-3 months to heal, your tip will get smaller for sure.. but considering its only been 2 weeks the results are very good. You should be happy girl.. Talk with you soon

Thanks, Ocean 11!

How is yr new nose doing?

I think mine will turn out well cos I'll be in very good hands of Dr. Jung. Rate of failure is 5-8% and this is no materially diff from Silicon n Goretexl. Also, I know Dr. Jung will make sure the appearance and after-care is well taken care of and his guarantee of revision shld we feel not satified is very reassuring. But feeling jittery is normal right?

Been researching more and think he is almost on par with Dr. Toriumi the doc hailed as best Rhinoplasty doc in USA cos they r both ENT specilalist. They even hv written a book together. As ENT specilist, they r able to 'dig' more inner nose cartilage to supplment supply for ear cartilage n do the op without harm to ENT structure.

I m not into high bridge (3mm) cos I prefer to lengthen my short nose, give top of bridge a good profile and give nose tip an elegance shape to suit my face. Praying the cartilage to be harvested from ear n inner nose will be enuf. I do not intend to harvest from my rib cos I need to travel so often.

cheers,
dmn

P.S. Rachel - Sineech, is so nice, she actually delivered it to my door!

Dr. Toriumi is considered the best in the world, and known for it. He charges 25000 US, minimum!

uyp. that's almost everyone's main concern i think/ after that should be safety and price.

dr hsu sounds capable enough! but all his articles are in chinese so i have no idea how to read them. is it the same dr hsu that did jovin's nose(or is it eyes? sorry. too many pages in front) the first time?

about the pic that you show us, is it me or does the girl's right nostril looks different from her left nostril? side profile results are good! but the front leaves a little more to be desired.

eh. actually hor, doesnt it depends on the size of your ears also mah. my ears so small. can only cut a bit. someone might have a bigger ear. so maybe autologus materials for some pple really not enough lorhs.

wahs. dr toriumi charges SO MUCH. 25000. USD somemore. i think dr jungis the next best choice. btw, is his chinese surname zheng?(as in tay for singapore)
good luck for your operation. will be praying for you here in singapore(:

the picture is how long one? for the eyes, i think by the time it fully heals, it might be only 1/2 to 1/3 of this length. will definitely drop one. the noseis gorgeous honey! you had an above average nose to begin with but after you did it. it looks great now. very natural too i might say. are you happy?

thks.. pictures r 2wks post op. I'm quite happy with wat I see so far except for the nose I will prefer it to be higher n sharoer. gosh r u sure .. my original nose was more of below average it's so short n flat! must be the pic not so accurate hahaz! Everyone says itt looks natural now but I want ia more dreastic change instead of natural. But then it has made a positive change in my looks so I will see how it goes after it fully heals :) Oh I hope the eyes doesnt drop too low cuz I quite like it now.. hmm.. Did u do ur eyes too?
