hahas. ocean11, you're so funny. i'm still deciding between korea and taiwan. havent decided yet because they seem to be about the same with korea having better skills but taiwan has a more reasonable price(yet still good) so i dont know. :???:
i like to have a better face shape mah. maybe cos my mum told me that nv ren lian xing hao, ming ye hui hen hao(rough translation: woman with a good face shape will have a good life) then i want a good life.
I agree with you foubelle, I too think the face shape is very crucial in determining what makes a lady beautiful. I have always dreamed of a long and slim facial contour. So, I tried with Botox on jaw and liposuction on cheeks 4 days ago. The final results will only show out after 2-3months. But, I think both of them might not be enough as I have quite a strong cheekbone. After 3 months, then I'll consider on cheek bone shaving/forehead argumentation. But maybe, I just say say only lah. It's very very painful! hehe  Anyway, I've heard that forehead argumentation can really change your total appearance!

no worries... u one time do so many procedure ofocs will swell like hell.. i rem last time when i done my eyelids stitches method.. gosh.. i am like China symbol Jiao Jiao the panda! and the brusies was like took a mth to disappear completely..

u nvr take the sincceh, so it will be worst.. take time la..

Lip reduction? i want it big u want it small.. haiz.. told u guys liao life is so irony.. big is so sexy!! mine too small.... errr.. on the outlook..u guys should see how i chop the burger down.. is like gone in 30 sec!! hohoho..

ok.. thru my experience la.. not trying to scare u ok.. as i mentioned, i went thru a eyelids stitche method, it those sutures that dissolve itself. it take slightly longer time den wat the doc quoted.. and if u don take care properly.. will leave scar! like one my left eyelid, left a small scar, mabe i touched water or something.. but not obvious unless u really take a close look or i tell ppls.. and it took nearly a mth for suture to be dissolve...

those that need to take out the sutures, slightly easiler to take care, cos when u take out, u just need to be careful not to snap open the wound..

but den again, depend on individual, mabe becos my age that is why takes longer time to heal.

that time i oso want to cry, i tried.. but no tears.. hehehe.. (jovin oso wouldnt belief i cry la, she know i wouldnt.. cos she know i scare it will affect my healing, me too vain! btw, she worst!!)

So don cry, bad for ur healing!! be strong gal!! so many ppls here going thru with u.. no scare no scare *pat pat*
kalyn wrote:Hi people, I've finally did my surgery on 8/5(four days ago) with Dr. Chuang.

Just to share with you all my experience.

I did a
[1]Full nose job -
Rhinoplasty[silicone implant] to lengthen the nose, Alaplasty to reduce the size of the nose/nostrils
Tiplasty[septal cartilage]to make the tip of the nose smaller.

[2]Lip reduction

[3]cheeks liposuction

[4]Botox on Jaw.

So, there were four procedures in total. Dr. C jabbed botox first, then he did my lips followed by the nose and lastly the liposuction.

I was on general anethesia so I wasn't aware of anything, when I woke up, which was around 7 hours later (10+am to 5pm), I was on the bed, with my head wrapped like a mummy and in pain! :( Yes, no joke. I was in severe pain, and the pain was coming from my lips.

What happen was, my lips are reduced and then stiched with dissolvable stiches. As the lips are a very sensitive area, the pain is enormous. It seems like the nose and cheeks liposuction feels nothing. The pain has already subsided right now, I don't feel pain unless I'm eating. But there's still a huge discomfort when talking. Ironically, my sis did her eyes and her lip reduction on the same day as me in Singapore! As her decision was too last minute, she hasn't had the time to fly to Taipei together. She did hers at Gleneagles with Dr. Wong. I realized both Dr. Chuang and Dr. Wong said different things. Dr. Chuang said that the stiches on my lips should not be removed as it might leave scars with open wounds. However, my sis will have hers removed in a week. Now I'm really confused as the stiches doesn't seem to look like it will drop within 2 weeks. What if it only drop in a month or two? They are really obvious stiches. Sigh, this is so depressing. Does anyone have any experience on how long will it take for the dissolvable stiches on the lips to drop/dissolve by itself?

So, for the nose! Like many others here, I took a couple of pictures of Vivian Hsu's nose and requested for that. However, as my nostrils are of different shape as her, Dr. C can only do the tip similar as her, which I'm pretty much satisfied. That of course, has to really turn out like hers, which I'm unsure right now :???: To cut it short, I did a silicone implant to lengthen the nose, an alarplasty and tiplasty using septal cartilage. Right now, my upper bridge(the one beside the eyes) has swelled so so much, it looks like it's so high, big and not to say, scary. The swell spreads to my eyes so both my eye lids and eye bags look bruised and it look like I've deformed. Is this normal? I did not have time to buy Sinnech so I wasn't on any swelling medicine. This doesn't help that I also did cheeks liposuction. I cry at least 2 times a day, this is so embarressing :(

Also, my lower cheeks are bruised and swelled. So, you guys can really imagine how horrible I looked right now. Is there anyone who can teach me how to reduce my swelling right now? Dr. C told me to put hot towel/compress. What is the difference with cold and hot?

Anyway, for people who are concerned about the pain factor for the procedures:
Nose: 2/10(little discomfort)
Lips: 7/10(high discomfort)
Cheeks: 4/10(medium discomfort)
Also, I can't smile or laugh as it will cause great pain.

Thanks everyone for listening/helping. Will appreciate any reply and good luck for you all too.... :)

Can we can go for laser or radio frequency (to remove feckles) over our silicon or gortex nose. Is it safe?

Can anyone ask for me if you were to consult?
Would greatky appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
hey ocean 11
thanks
will be waiting for your post okay :D

one more question, gortex can it last more than like 40 to 50 years
I am 20 plus now
and if I do gortex,I am wondering if it will last till I am 60 plus
if it doesnt, wont it lead to increase complications in the later age (if we were to take out and replace a new one)
so isnt it easier to use silicon cause taking out and replacing in the later stage seem easier

Thanks Ocean for your concern and also sharing your experience. The way you described as Jiao jiao the panda is funny. Hehe

You mean touch water will leave scar? In this case, you can't wash your face for so long? For my case, I don't think touching water is harmful as I definitely need to drink and rinse my mouth.. Hopefully the sultures will take no longer than a month to dissolve.

Thanks thanks for your encouragement, I'm trying to look on the bright side now, so I will try to smile (literally) cus I can't make expressions yet. Sigh sigh! Just hope this will be over soon......

Hi

I am also going through an emotional period for my recovery. I also cried a lot, and think a lot, cause everyday my eyes seem changing and it doesnt seem to make a significant difference as i wanted. I keep on thinking what if its not big, what if its too round, will it turn droopy and etc.

So we are all on the same boat. Dont get discourage, because we cannot determine the final results, only after a few months then we can start to conclude something. The best thing we can do now is to be optimistic and concentarte on the recovery or other thing. cheers. This is just not within out control, so managing it is much easier.

by the way, does your sister like wong's skill? i heard his good at eyes but not sure about his nose job skill.

Post by yen2006 » Tue, 12 Jun 2007 5:10 pm

Hi all,

I just did my double eyelid & Epicantoplasty at KALO yesterday.

Dr Song did the KOREAN method for me, so recovery will be alot faster.

Abit swell now but think will look good after swell subsides..

Will update my photos 2 weeks later :)

[quote="leenaaaa"]foubelle,

Not only that! I asked him for a medium height parallel crease.. but he gave me a very low tapered crease. Another forummer complained of him doing the exact same thing to her. He doesn't do what you ask for, but what he wants. The thing is that I understand if he thinks it is not suitable for my face, but he didn't say anything during the consult.. just "yes, yes, ok".

Anyways other plastic surgeons I consulted said that what I requested for would look ok on me. I'll be going to Dr Chuang for a consult and possible surgery in a week, so hopefully he will be able to fix my eyes for me.

Hi all,

just to share my gal friend story.. She did her nose implant using I slicone & ear cartidge with BK DR Kim last year.

My friend showed Dr Kim a pic of what she wants, he said ok ok but it turns out not what she wants.

I knew this friend from forum & we met 1 week ago & saw my nose ( did at KALO) she decided to redo her nose at KALO.

I accompanied her to KALO for consultation and we went for our ps at KALO yesterday morning.

My friend redo her nose to Korean L man made ear cartidge,Alar, did epicantoplasty & chin.

Dr Song at KALO started for my friend at 11am- 3pm for the above produrces, was quite long coz he removed the I implant for my friend & the ear cartidge in her nose done by Dr Kim from BK.

While Dr Song was redoing her nose, he was shocked to find there's a small hole inside my friend's nostrils which was not stitched up or by the cut of the I implant.

Dr Song removed the I implant & was lucky enuff that my friend did not have extrudtion or infection for this 1 year. After removing the I implant, Dr Song stitched back the small hole with 3 stitches & stitched back the the area where he inserted the implant.

After the op, Dr Song pass the I implant back to my friend, guess what?? There's marker stain & mark on the I implant..quite unhealthly to be inside the nose ..lucky took it out already.

um... 4.5-5 mm? that's a lot... does goretex come down or something after a while, cuz I just did 3, and it looks high like those Korean actresses nose. I remember you complaining about him not giving you more height? Does your nose not look as high as those Korean actresses noses now, or did you want even more?
hi who..no offence..but i think your nose looks very natural(i dont know if thats good or bad) that i only thought u did I-implant..maybe its the swelling? or maybe you'd like to post some side profiles..cause i really cant see the refined tip, and u said u did tip refinement..no offence, concerned since i'm going to dr chuang end of this yr too. also, was it NT60 000? tell us more! i think alot of pple going to dr chuang..tell us the hotels..etc etc all that!! :D

YESSSS! but silicon is easier to be removed compared to goretex..for both materials, L implants higher risk of complications. we dont have many taiwan docs recommended in this forum except dr chuang..and he says he uses what the patients request for. :)
