Hi ocean11,

Hope you're feeling better altho I'm sorry your bridge is not as high as you've wanted. It's been a month since my surgery with Dr. Jung and I must say I'm very pleased with the results.

He actually wanted to give me a higher bridge but I told him no and want the bridge to be as low and natural as possible. When the cast was removed I thot the bridge he's given me was too high and thick. The tip also looks fat and round, which annoyed me very much! And like Shermaine, I kept pressing the bridge to look lower but this made my nose bridge really sore and painful!! In the end just left it alone and voila! It keeps looking better and better each day!

Perhaps you should give it a little more time to see the end results. Hope you'll like your nose once it's started to take shape.

Take care and rest well.

will discuss with him on monday, hopefully he can come out with a solution..
i don know whether our high got to do with the height of the bridge, mabe it have to be balance??

actually, i asked for relly relly low bridge, in fact my exact words were'the flatter the better, yue bian yue hao' which triggered a lot nof laughter fr him. but i feel that my bridge is still very high! in fact, i m tempted to push it down myself everyday.
but i think tts juz me.

perhaps dr. jung relly feels like tanjhj mentioned, tt ur face is relly small, so high will be harsh??
sorry i cant say anything more...

BUTBUTBUT hope this cheers u up a little, coz like blueberry and hannah mentioned, the bridge thickness WILL definitely thin down and become MUCH more defined. in fact, mine is pretty slim now (i asked for natural, not even narrow), and its only gonna get slimmer durin the next few mths.

re my tip, well...i think ints relly natural, not very round (was very round first 2 mths) but juz wondering if it can be made more well defined nor thinner?? hmm...not sure if u get wat i'm tryin to bring across...but then again, will ask dr., jung wat he feels again

aso tanjhj, revision with him is free he mentioned. think tts wat he told badboy too.

and i rem askin him tt qn. abt removal of gortex. IF i rem correctly, u can remove and hav the revision on the same day/time.
hope this helps!

Hi Ocean11,
The first week after the surg I kept looking at my side profile in the mirror peeking at the bridge. At first I thought it's too low. But my mom assured me that it's HIGH. I didn't believe her but after most of the swelling goes down, I took side profile pic of my nose and was surprised that the bridge is really HIGH :D I guess it was all in your mind. I was lookin at it anxiously maybe every hour or so lol so my eyes were prob playing trick on me. Just give it another weeks to let the swelling goes down :) be patient ;)

hey ocean, to be honest i think the height of the nose bridge is fixed once after the op.

when the swell is over, ur nose may look slimmer, and the bridge will thus, be more define (not higher).

an easy way to increase the definition is to increase the height by a lot... but it is not neccesary...

slight increase in height at key areas of the nose bridge can also bring about a noticable increase in the general height. i personally think height is not that important, if the nose is define enough then the surgery is a good one. too much height increment will make the nose too outstanding in contrast to your other features.

i suggest you to wait a few months for the swell to subside unless you think you didnt even have a nose implant at all. :)

i would like to know why you said silicone will have lots of problems compared to gortex in the future? maybe you can share with me... thanks.

Takuda,

I agree entirely!

takuda wrote:if i had the ability i'll definitely go for dr jung. in my opinion, those considering whether to go for dr kim or jung should not only consider the skills, but also the doctor's attitude. it's like if dr kim has the best skills but he bo chap u after surgery, it's not very good also. everyone said dr jung is fatherly, free revision some more! dr jungggggggg!

Hey,

Yea I agree with what you said about the receptionist at Seah's clinic. Her nose very fake looking. Part of the reason why I didnt go to him...
244522 wrote:I've consult Dr Seah before, and seen his past patient photos. I felt that if you really want a significant improvement, I wouldnt reccomend Dr Seah. He does more of a natural and enhancement, whcih for me I want to see great enhancement in my looks if I were to do my nose. :)

Dr Seah counter there got one nurse, I think she did alar, implant. I find it too fake (nose too straight and small at the end), but its nice. She look pretty. Haha. But still not the type I will go for.

I personally felt Dr Martin huang is good, but look a bit fake, dont know is it too perfect that it look a bit fake. Not the kind that I will go for.

Does anyone know the TCS celebrity Yee fong? I find her nose quite ugly, I mean I prefer her looks before rather than after, so I wouldnt want to do under her doctor as while.

Thus left me with overseas options. I still figuring out what nose I want. Hard decision.

Yea it only raise a little because the Dr advise me not to do so high as too high bridge will look harsh on my face features and also will look fake if my nose tip too long. With e new nose, it does makes me look better when i take pics, can see the define of the nose now.
The doctor at who did for me at KALO is Dr.Song. Hes from china but trained in korea and heard hes going to england duno when, i also didnt ask much...so not to worry about his skills though i heard in this forum that kalo has only GP cert? lol
Kalo is run by a chinese, not malay, not to worry about that.
I see most of their customers are rich tai tais over at JB branch. If there were to have anything goes wrong, im sure the rich tai tais over at the KL side will be e 1st to do something then. lol
So not to worry about that, in my own opinion, doing at KALO is actually just like doing in Singapore, the standard.

But on e other hand, pls do more research before u decide on what you want to do, and also the final decision is urs where u would like to have urs done at. =)

Dr Song is a nice man and honest one too and he has over 8 years exp in PS, trained in China and a short course at korea. He is a fully certified doc but as there is no professional board for PS surgeon in China unlike korea, thus it is not fair to say he is not professional certified. However in PS, sometimes the skills is more impt than Certs.. i have seen enough in local PS standard to know that cert doesnt mean skill.

Kalo is a pretty decent place for common PS surgery like doing rhino implant and eyelid surgery. as for facilities wise, i would say look clean and decently equipped for simple surgery. For the price of below 2k for a nose job, it is quite a bargain.

If u ask me for a guage, i would give it 7/10 for overall security and facilities and equipment. 10/10 is like what u see in dr seah & dr wong clinic, those well known local PS clinic standard.

Currently looking and searching at thailand where common PS surgery cost around $300 each and operated by fully certified thai PS surgeon.

Ocean11,

I never knew Song hye Hyo's nose bridge was really high? Wonder if it is real. Looks pretty real to me.

As for your bridge, hmmm perhaps the reason why Dr Jung have you a lower bridge is really because it would suit your face better. Is your current bridge lower than your previous one? What you said about the height is true... it will gradually go lower in time... Well, if you are really unsatisfied just tell Jung. I'm sure he will oblige if you really want a higher nose.

would like to know if anyone can post up nose photo after 2 weeks, 1 month and 2 months by Dr Jung. I want to see if I dare to go out after my nose job.

For those done by Dr Jung, after how long do you all find that its okay for you to go out? I mean look like normal nose, not so swollen, and less scar (if there is). I want to decide when to do my nose.

Another question is, does anyone knows after you do your nose, can you go for IPL laser or facial and etc? I scare next time If I got freckles, then I cannot remove it cause of my nose.

By the way, I want to thank Jovinliu, appletree and the rest for helping me to clear my doubts.

Hope all of us would be happy happy with our after ps looks.

Leenaaaa,
heard that she is the only actress that nvr go thru the surgery! so i guess her nose is real.. nice hor!! i really like it!!
if u are gng to Jung, rem to tell him u want high!! no matter wat he say! just say i don care! i want it high!! if can, bang ur butt on the floor and throw tantrum die die oso want!!! kaoz.. i should have do that!!
cos the taiwanese doc told me, Dr Jung like to do low low for overseas clients, esp those ftom china, m'sia and singapore.. cos he think we can only take low bridge.. and he done all korean high high cos he think korean more suitable for higher bridge.. geez... not all Singaporean want it low!!
he told me, if ppls can tell u undergone a nose job, it's not a nice job.. so he rather be safe and do it natural..but if ur skill is good, even u do it higher, u wouldnt be able to tell, like those korean actress, we only specular whether have they undergo surgery or not, but who will know unless they admit themselve or compare the old photos..
i cant tell whether it is higher then my previous one, but how i judge was.. when i look on my side profile i cant see my the other eyelashes... but now, I CAN SEE ABIT!!! can u imagine now is still swelling.. after subside am i rite it going to see my the other eye completely??!??!!? Lim peh really want to faint liao!! Got do like nvr do.. i sure let my parents f*** left rite up down one... *pardon my french language* hehehe..

hihi,
how i know huh? cos silicone really more heavy den goretex, esp the L shape.. after awhile u can see the tip color change and under certain lighting u can see white silicone at ur tip.. quite obvious wor..and sometime ur nose will turn colors! sometime blue, black.. red.. and pale color! very colorful nose! hehe.. cos i saw it b4 too.. but not all la.. some lucky one can last for very long..some don even have any prob after 30yrs!

u read this website www.fashionguide.com.tw alot of taiwan mei mei having prob with silicone but no choice have to take out n put goretex.. but ofcos goretex also not 100% safe! aiya.. basically plastic surgery will have certain percentage of risk.. depend on ur luck alot! and surgeon skill as well..

good luck to u!

Hello,

For those who are looking at perfection in their eyes and have problem with uneven fats distribution on upper and lower eye-lids, I find this a good site for reference:

http://27565488.com/?q=node/266

It pretty much covers most concerns for various type of brow/eyes/eye-lids. He uses fat transplant where necessary and seems good skills on eye-bags removals. The article on scar revision is also good. Clear explanation on what he apply for each case.

cheers,
dmn

was just curious, maybe it's not that he purposely go against the patient's wishes. could it be there's an optimum height he wants to achieve?

so those who ask for too low, he will say higher to achieve that optimum height. Those who want too high, he will tell them lower to achieve that optimum height.

bridge cannot too high also la, when me and my fren did nose, at first the bridge swollen and very high, it sorta made us look like transvestites... :P
