Hi fushiacotton,

Me and my ps buddies have already fix an appointment to see Dr Kim in Nov,
and one of the gal will be doing her nose if you are interested to join us let me know. E-mail address : [email protected] I'll be most happy to provide you more information.

FYI : Dr Kim is my BF best friend, we are gathering more PS buddy to join us and we might get better price with best surgeon performing on our face.

fushiacotton wrote:Yeap, I was reading. The first few pages did not really recommend Singapore doctors. But if I were to go overseas and do my nose. I would need to go back for revision right.

And after reading through over 50 threads. I'm really confused as to which doctor I should even think about. Haha. But I'm also looking for some company to do the op.

My friend told me India has this really good hospital called forerunners. http://www.forerunnershealthcare.comShe told me to check it out. But I havent heard of them at all on this thread.

Should be goretex la.. cos heard Dr Jung only do goretex. looking forward actually.. hope eveything goes well..

the lashes sound tempting hor.. hehe... so many things to do so little money to spend.. #-o

So u be doing goretex L implant too??

i am interested too.. so can u provide the info here, so for those that interested oso get benefit out of it, or u want me to PM u?? but i don know if u can receive PM, cos u still a newbie here.

The eyelash eyebrow transplant don't hurt, and the recovery time is VERY quick, 5 days or even less. My friend had to work in 2 days, it was a little swollen but ok..The transplants are very non-invasive.
BUT the drawback is that it's expensive...2,000 US dollars!
But think of it this way, the lashes last a lifetime and grow on and on forever!

I'm getting a discount because my friend referred me. If you're interested in getting lashes done, feel free to email me and I'll ask the doctor! hehe, this way I can also get discounts if I wanna go back and do more... :)

I definitely wont put up pictures of my friend hehe, she would KILL me!
but i'll put up pics for ya soon...

for korean surgeons like dr jung/kim i am not really sure but i guess it is up to own preference unless the surgeon is strongly against one of them or don't know how to. KALO does open and closed, dr chuang does open and closed too i guess. u just need an implant or are u doing tip refinement etc??
Actually doc jung, like other doc, uses silicone and any other material which he think suit your cases thus it is best to meet him than discuss with him. i think it is better let him decide what material and opeartion procedure that suit you best. of coz u can give him your own feedback n preferences.

going this month right? good luck in your op !

i m not very sure if doc jung and other doc actually uses goretex L implant. i have ask a few doc liao, all never hear Goretex L implant before.

as for me, i dun prefer L implant as it restrict your nose shape and also increase the chances of extrusion over time as compared to I implant.
That is the reason why dr sukit of yanhee dun use L implant for nose surgery. Of coz there are people who can look just fine with L implant so it really depends on individual.

i prefer open incison over the closed incision as it will reduce the chances of implant misplacement and errors, also it allows the doc to redefined the shape of the nose better. with open incison u can do more "magic" with the nose. of coz some ppl would suit closed incision just fine. it really depends on individual and also if they scar or form keloids easily..

Thanks !!!! So i will see more slim tip in the next 2 months time, keke
By the way addvark, wat implant u have? L or I implant ?
[/quote]

if i didnt rem wrongly, u did ur nose before with yanhee using silicone I implant? i believe if dr jung is going to redo your nose, it most likely will be open incision for revision cases. coz so far all his revision cases are done via open incision. of coz i believe he may do a closed incision but i have yet to read abt it.

for me, if i am in your shoe, i would op for a open incision and give him a pic of a ideal nose i would like to have. since going to fly there and also choosing dr jung, i think it is good to squeeze everything out of his skill to get that "perfect" nose. also, dun forget dr jung's skill reputation and experience, and his free revision which is rarely heard from other doc to ensure your piece of mind.

Go for it Ocean11! take that big leap.

Ya lor, i oso nvr heard about L goretex b4.. and i think quite impossible to make it to L shape in goretex material lay, cos it will absort into our tissue after awhile, how can it form to a shape?
Aiya, mabe i am wrong la, mabe it really have, just that i shua ku.. nvr hear b4. hehe..

i scare the open will leave me scars.. i not young liao, scar will take freaking long time to heal.. that is my concern.. but heck la! Xi lo xi!
but i heard if using ear cartilage and goretex, the effect will not be as slim as L shape silicone.. the nose will be slight bigger den L shape wor... sigh.. troublesome.. :?

Actually i haven decide whether to let Dr Jung touch my nose.. hehehe.. i am doing a counsultation 1st, den decide.. cos thinking of dream clinic too.. i will see how it goes..

Thanks mate.. i hope i can come back with pretty little nose.. kakaka.. :D :D

hi shiyun i think you r very pretty le..eyes so big

maybe some makeup can freshen your eyes if you think they look sleepy

i heard curl and dark eyelashes can give fresh and alert look..

u try that before?

i also wanna try fat injection..
is it possible you share your experience
like recovery and bruise,cost,infection..
i heard revision is common, how many u had?

thanks :D

Hi shiyun, you had fat injections into your cheeks? May I know if there's any significant difference?

I'm going to do lipo on my cheeks with Dr.Chuang.. although my face is not considered fat, but i hope to have a slimmer overall... something like dawn's face shape. But I'm very afraid after the cheeks lipo, i'll end up with sunken cheeks :???:

Does anyone here done cheek lipo before? Can someone advise me? I'm starting to fret now...

Jovin's eyes and nose

Post by Shiyun » Mon, 21 May 2007 2:41 pm

Dear jovin,

Hello!
Can you send me a pic of your eyes and nose because i 'm also considering Dr. Chuang for the nose.

I have breathing problem for many years already, it's due to a deviated septum internally and i wish to correct that, after that i wish to do cartilage graft to make my nose higher on the bridge, i don't know how much will Dr. chuang charge and if it's possible for him to operate on my nose using Goretex and my own cartilage.

But first i would like to take a look on Dr. Chuang's skills. I heard from your post that you are very satisfied with your eyes. How much did you pay for the eyes alone?

Jovin, I really hope you can response my queries because it wil help me to budget better. Thanks!

I went and did eyelashes with Dr. Jong at LRclinic in Taiwan when I did my nose with Dr. Chuang at Wish... it only cost me 900 USD... and I got tons of lashes from him...
In the US, it costs 6000 USD and they implant 20-40... From Dr. Jong, I got 50+ on each lid... really awesome.
