L implant, the bridge de-swell much faster, the tip took longer
could be that i heal slowly, cos i dun really watch wat i eat

at the start, the tip was quite stiff and numb, but now i can pinch my nose and move it left and right like Bewitched :D

I tawt after 3 weeks staying at home den I will start going out to show my face !! :? Because I decided to do 3 weeks earlier before my best friend's bday.. dat's d earliest i can go.. i kenot go to Dr. Jung earlier

After knowing the recovery period is 3 months.. it's really surprised me :o

Does it mean Open Rhino take longer time??

Anyone got idea whether Dr.Jung does open or closed?

Omg... i'm starting to get worry now :???:
no no, it doesn't take 3 months to heal.
Within 2 weeks, i can go out without anyone noticing anything wrong with my nose. I made thick plastic glasses just before the surgery to disguise the elevated bridge.

but ur nose will conitnue to shrink (swelling subside) and it could take anywhere from 6 to 12 months before it hits the finalised form, but after the 2 weeks, swelling already subside until hardly noticeable

for me, the tip took much longer than my bridge to subside, but after 2 weeks, my nose looks normal liao; as in no one will ask why ur nose is swollen...

Hi Suemei,

Great that you are going Korea for enhancement. May i know what's Dr. Jung website?

What procedure will you be doing ? Mine is eyelid procedure to make my eyes bigger,

Where is Dr. Jung's clinic located at? Is he in Seoul?

By the way this is how i look after fat injection to my face with M. Huang in 2000.

open is preferred even if it's just a simple implant as it allows the surgeon to place the implant more easily in other words makes job easier for surgeon. slightly more complicated procedures like repositioning cartilage requires open rhino. bad thing is the longer time needed to recover cos of scar which will be pretty obvious. :D

Shiyun,

hi just a personal comment for ur consideration. You have potentially big and beautiful eyes thou ur eyes are not bad now but it make u look sleepy and tired. heard u are going to korea for ur PS, so if possible work on it else i find it a pity. something like dawn yeo's eye job. just a simple epicanthoplasty may be too little to fly to korea for it. go for it girl!

also just sidetrack abit. i saw your pic before before your fat implant ( if i didnt rem wrongly) i think you would look the very good if u have cheek bone shaving (very ex n painful). of coz fat implant is not a bad option too.

Hey ShuYin ! Never know u're such a brave girl posting ur pics here hehehehe .. anyway your eyes are really big at the moment lol.. bigger than mine hehehe

This is Dr.Jung's add : http://www.nose.co.kr :)

But i still haven decide whether to go to Dr.Jung or Dr.Kim because recently i got the thought of reshaping my face too... and i guess Dr.Jung doesn;t hav much experiences in contouring faces compared to Dr.Kim..

So if I were to do my Nose only, den I will go to Dr.Jung

If I were to do my Nose + Cheekbone reduction, den I will go to Dr.Kim

Actually I wanted to do my nose with Dr.Jung but face with Dr.Kim the next day or next 2 days... because i heard some horror stories abt dr.kim's nose job before..but i think d advices from either of the doctor would be, do the next operation after 6 mths :(

It's so frustrating right now :x

And for those who're flying to Korea, I saw Cathay Pacific is having a promotion right now

From Malaysia to Seoul the price of d return ticket is

Rm 2135 , Max stay is 14 days

Rm 2240 , Max Stay is 30 Days ( I dunno whether is the price low or average, but I compared to Mas and it's definitely cheaper than MAS )

The prices above are included tax and security charges. All the tickets need to be issued before 31st oct 2007 and the travel period is until 31st march 2008 if it's not mistaken.. you guys haf to double check it :D

For those who wanted to go to Dr.CHuang for surgeries or any part of China, dey got special discount to Shanghai, Taipei , Kaoshiong, Beijing..

You can depart from Kuala Lumpur or Penang and dis is the website :

http://www.cathaypacific.com/

If you guys know there's any other airlines having promotion now, do let me know HEHEH :D

Hi Suemei,

The eyelash implants look 100% NATURAL. It IS natural because you're using your own hair. It's your own hair that's planted into your eye, and regrowing, it's actually REALLY fascinating. The weird but cool part is that, unlike the other eyelashes, the implants keep growing so you have to trim them. I like this, because it means you get really really long lashes and you can control the length.

its the hottest new surgery in korea, i'm actually more excited about getting the eyebrow implants because I don't have much eyebrows, and it looks totally natural. I'll definitely put up pix for you guys. haha, i asked my friend if i could put up pictures of her lash implants but she said no way...

the doctor i'm going to is a guy named Dr. Paik in Seoul. He was educated in the states and speak totally perfect English.

anyway, feel free to ask more questions and wish me luck!

:)

ack, i'm stiiill so confused about whether to go to Dr. Jung or Dr. Kim.
How much does Dr. Kim charge for a rhinoplasty does anyone know??
