Hi aadvark,

this price is a really good deal! Are you satisfied with the outcome?

i've already set my mind to do mine in sg but after reading your post the price is really amazing! Now i feel silly paying so much in sg but my mother keeps saying horrible things that doing ps in thailand might not be safe, and i might end up with a weird looking face due to infection ( :???: lol) ..

Sounded cheap, and her mum looked pretty nice (did it a few years back).
So 3 of us got it done at the same doctor, I must say all of us are pretty happy with the results, and enjoying the compliments too! :D

I spent SGD$1000 for my eyelids, nose, and chin. Now i read thru this forum, and i realise how expensive it could have been! hee, thankfully, this round save me enuff for subsequent PS session.

tanjhj, do you know where jaw augmentation can be done? My doc couldn't do it as he wasn;t familiar with the procedure...
hi,

ur PS is cheap.. where u did it? can share? :D

jaw surgery if involved bone cutting is a major surgery, i need to ask if u are considering reshaping ur jaw or adding implant to ur jaw?

if bone cutting or sawing, gotta find a good doc siah, i think imjase will be a better person since he just did his at wish clinic..
i did mine in hatyai
Nose - 8000 baht
Chin - 8000 baht
Dbl Eyelid - 6000 baht

I am just looking at jaw implants, reshaping will prob involve too much downtime which i cannot afford.

this kind of nose is roughly what dr jung may have did for some patients. i am not sure if dr jung purposely did this kind of nose or he was told by the patients but i wonder who find the nose nice? on asian face of coz..
Her nose is huge! Not sure if it would look good on any asian girl's face cuz it looks hella manly to me.

Thank god he didn't give me a huge honker like that.

Staying at EVchain.

Post by Coby » Wed, 11 Apr 2007 2:25 pm

Hi all,
Can someone explain to me how EVchain works?
http://evchain.com/
Cozy Double
(8n7d = 8 nights 7 days?)-> 300,000 won = $316 / 8 days = $39.5/day
(Ext./daily) 33,000 won = $34.7 / day --> cheaper.
So even if we are gonna stay there for about a week, should we rent daily then?
Thanks.

oh yes i think tt nose is huge too!
he definitely didnt give me such a nose, in factr, day by day if anything, i think my nose is slimming down and shrinking.

in fact, on his pic he showed me, dont think i saw any1 with such a nose?? but i bliuf there are some who requested for such a nose.

aso coby, for evchain, the minimum u have to stay is 8 days 7 nights, and then any extension is charged as such. so even if u stay say, 6 nights, u stil have to pay the min 1 week rent. hope this helps!

yeah, i want my jawline more defined, cos my chin, jaw is genetically under-developed. as i grew older, my chin started receding.

ideally i want my face shape to look like wang li hong, haha, or MTV VJ Utt, heh heh :)
Dr Nara Donsakul of Hatyai? His Clinic is Next to Indra Hotel? or is he still working in Songklanagarind Hospital?

Won lee Hom.. hmmm i also like him!

Dr chuang got do mandibular angle for cupdiz i believe maybe u can PM him.. however ur budget is 3-4k thus may need to see thailand le.. even spore also hard to find a doc doing it for 3-4k.. nevertheless no harm trying..
Yes, that Dr Nara! Next to Indra Hotel. Of course, no one should stay at Indra Hotel, when u can stay at Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel (one of biggest hotels in hatyai with its own mall first few levels) for the same price!

i pm-ed Cupidz, waiting for his reply, i dun mind paying more if the results are fantastic :D

haha, that was my worry too, but then i saw my fren's mum who did it and she looked fine. Her mum works in a shopping center perfume dept, and her other colleagues also went and did it with dr nara. They all seemed fine, so i was pretty much at ease.

if u ask me go straight to a thai PS without knowing anyone else who did it there, i sure freak out!

pretty happy with the nose. i regretted the dbl eyelids at first, cos i felt they were too thick. but now the swelling has finally all gone away, it looks pretty natural. my frens tell me my eyes look much nicer now, so no regrets! Keke

for that price, i guess it's super value for money. intend to go back for nose trimming and eyebag removal next :) my fren's gonna do her boobs :D

Heya
Today's PS was a breeze. :D My procedures were over in less than 2 hours (I did an otoplasty (pinning back ears) and alarplasty), rested for like 10min, then took a cab back with my hubby. Am already back working from home since lunch!

Jass - My 1st surgery was alright, but I guess what I really needed was an alar, more so than an implant, given that my bridge is already relatively prominent.

The effect of today's alar is not that obvious yet, but I like what I see so far (except for all the black stitches sticking out all over). Painwise, its almost non-existent, maybe like 1/10. The worst was the insertion of the needle to inject the anasthesia!!

Realised that I forgot to take before/after pix, but i do have those taken before my 1st rhino implant. Will share them with u once I am decent enough to take a pix. Maybe sometime next week, once the stiches come out.
jass82 wrote:Hi black_creamer,

sure.. will be looking fwd to seeing your pics! So your surgery is this wed, I'm sure you'll look fantastic. Was your 1st surgery up to your expectation? I kept seeing ps on tv and it looked perfect, was wondering if local doc able to reach at least half of that standard.. :?

black_creamer wrote:Hey Jass, mbk,

I guess the decision is made once u are at the reception counter and u arrange for a surgery date - you have to pay 50% of the surgery up front (non refundable), so there is really no turning back after that! :-|

Btw, 2 weeks is more than enough time to recover. I am expecting to have my stitches (for the alar) removed within the week, and to be out and about after that. (of cos recovery wld vary from person to person, but i think the sineech tablets they will provide does help. The last time when I went for the rhino, I also bought some gel-like cold compress from Guardian (some Japanese brand, for kid's fever), and bromelain (pineapple) tablets from the health pharmacy (GNC/Nature's Farm) to help reduce bruising/swelling.

Jass - will send u my final pix after this alarplasty surgery and the swelling is more or less gone. My rhino implant was too subtle, didn't see much of a change cos the bridge was raised just 2-3mm.

i've been thinking about getting my nose done too, in Singapore. My collegue recommends Dr Harry Fok, her cousin had ps done by him and says is good. Which doc are you considering?

Hi mbk,
I'm going to Dr. harry Fok, sometime next mth, its my 1st.. lol very scared. When will you be going?

Hi black_creamer,
I've ask him abt the rhino and he quote me $3800 too. Any pictures of your nose avaliable? :)

Spore doc are expensive becoz of the lack of competition here. TW thou a more Ex place than spore is cheaper due to the Huge number of clinic there competing each other for customers. Dr Chuang is just one of the numerous good doc there who can do Korean Style surgery..
but there are no local surgeons who do korean style/use goretex I implant then do tip refinement like dr jung/chuang. that's really sad.

hi appletree

mine is I gortex with ear and nasal cartilage, think dr. jung uses that on all patients, unless specifically requested for silicone.

Hi shermaine, :)

thats cool cos im going to Dr.Chuang to do e goretex rhino too.
Wonder if u will know how long does it takes for e goretex to settle in its final shape? A goretx will still shirnk (contracts) to a final shape just like silicone rite?
So goretex is safer than silicones in terms of infections & complications??

ocean11,

i think u can feel safer now that two of the forumers did not get the manly nose u worried abt. it more or less confirm that dr jung is able to give prominent or natural looking nose as requested..
