Dear Hannah Lee/ Shermaine/ Blueberrymochi/ Badboy/ Winnie2006,
Is there a number for Twin Haus that I could call to book a room reservation? I tried calling the number on website but the lady who answered the phone could not speak English and gave a mobile number which does not work.
Greatly appreciate your help here. Thanks.

I know alot of ppl say cold weather is better for healing etc but honestly i think its your own preference. I love hot weather and I healed quickly so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

Hi imjase,
Waooo... thanks for your informations on costing =)
1300nt is about $51 Sgd rite? hmmm if were to stay for 14 days then will be close $790.
How many days did u stay in taiwan??
And wonder if u will know the free revision is during e stay in taiwan or even after we leave taiwan... then still can come back to do e revision if there were to have any complications??
Usually the complications will arise during the 14 days or throughout e 2 whole month??
imjase wrote:appletree wrote:Hi imjase & other fellow forumers who went to Dr.Chuang,
May i know how much $$ to bring to taiwan for expenses over there???
Hi Appletree,
Hotel cost ranges from 1,300 NTD (Charming hotels bit further than deja vu one which is about 2,300 NTD per night) to 3,500 NTD per night which is San Want Hotel which is round the corner from clinic.
Taxis are very cheap it will cost you at most 100-200 NTD to get around.
Food is very cheap you can get stall snacks and breakfast for about 30 NTD, Congee is about 70-100 NTD. Chicken and rice is about 150-200 NTD. Of course if you buy stuff from supermarket then its also cheaper.
Average:
So say a conservative estimate if you spare 3,000 NTD per night you should be fine thats considering you stay in a hotel costing 2,300 NTD spend 200 NTD on taxis and 500 NTD on food per day.
Cheap:
If you stay in the 1,300 NTD Hotel then you can spend 2,000 NTD per night.
Also don't pre-pay the hotel just reserve then when you get there ask for a discount thats how I managed to get the best prices because the ones they quote on the website are actually much more expensive than when you go there and ask for a room. E.g. rooms quoted at 3,400 on the website at deja vu only cost me 2,300.

WIsh u best of luck too when it comes to your turn
By d way... i read previous posts on previous pages.. some of them said, pics shown in Dr.Jung's website don't give a significant result but when u visit his clinic, he will show u other more significant improvement pics !
You mus be sorta rich hehe can spend so many days in Korea since u going to get some consultations from other clinics.. really envy

Da Jie, the main PS places are Apkujeong & Gangnam. Both cover quite a big area in Seoul, kinda impossible to walk around finding those Clinics. Best to shortlist a few and visit them when you reached.
I believe the "asian nose" forum we went to that time got a guy call "Ja3on" did the same, you may like to do the same too.

Hey MBK
I guess the local PSs are somewhat conservative (like their counterparts in BKK), as compared to the Japanese/Korean PSs, so the changes are really quite subtle.
For my previous closed rhino, I had my stitches removed on Day 3, and went shopping (Dr Fok was at Paragon then) right after that. So yah, u shd be v presentable by week 2.
mbk wrote:black-creamer, would you say after 2 weeks you were presentable to the public? were people who are close to you able to tell you had something done at 2 weeks?

to anyone who's had open rhino, can you write about your experience and how slowly or quickly you healed?
i'm unable to search this thread alone and it's over 300 pages.
i think it'd be a good idea to start a new thread... as soon as they hit 50 pages, start thread ii, iii, etc. it's just too long...

Black_creamer,
Do you feel the doctor delivered what you asked esthetically? I mean if he said he will increase ur bridge 3 mm did he actually increase it 3mm or just 1mm?
I can understand docs being conservative but what I really can't stand are doctors who say yes to you during consultations and then they do what they want during surgery and they marvel at their own work when actually they have done a poor job.

Hi MBK,
Well, didn't physically measure my before/after bridge, but I think it would be closer to 3mm, judging from the slope and side view, which is quite conservative already, given that most would aim for 5mm or so....
I guess some PSs do think they know best what is for you, so do make sure u shop around and pick one whom u are comfortable with

Black_creamer, I mean for you, what you and the doc agreed during consultation, is it reflected in the results?
