I'm a medical agent for medical providers in Thailand, not Singapore; i did give mention that Dr. Vincent Yeow might not be good in other areas like Liposuction etc.Anonymous wrote:You seem to be a great fan of Vincent Yeow, strange, being a medical agent as you say you are, you don't seem to recommend any other doctor. You sure you're not Vincent Yeow himself, Or working for him? Sounds dodgy, I'd say.

Don't want to name names but just to let u know, my doctor'c clinic is located in Mt E.
I will rather go Thailand than Malaysia and my frd had an eye and nose job there and it's great.
If cost and language is not a problem, I will definately recommend Korea as the place for plastic surgery.
I seriously regret not having it done there...I will definately not have any plastic surgery done in Singapore ever again!!!

I've to warn u that u have to decide wat u want & which doc u wish to do it with before hand. Get in touch with yr doc, make the necessary appointments before we leave. Pls conduct all your research before hand. Don't expect us to give opinions because everyone have a different surgery that we are going for so we won't have any idea to yr type of surgery. We can only be of companionship taking care of each other.FEL002 wrote:Guest, where are you going in thailand? Can i come, hich clinic is the best to go for a corrective? Mine was so badly done. New here so bear with me.
I'm planning to get rhinoplasty done. I'm probably looking at something rather complex as my nose is pretty out of shape after having broken it three times and having had three prior rhinoplasties. Pretty active in sports and I keep on breaking my nose - twice in rugby and once in basketball.
My last rhinoplasty was in Sydney and it wasn't a very good job. It just straightened the septum but left the tip pretty swelled up. I'm looking to get it reduced and reshaped aesthetically.
My options are basically Thailand and Singapore. I've consulted with Harry Kok who quoted me 15K and I'll be seeing Woffles Wu for a consultation in early September. I'll post an update on that consult after it's completed.
Reading these posts, I'm inclined to meet Vincent at SGH just to have as many opinions before proceeding ahead with this. Undergoing plastic surgery is no small matter and especially when considering the face, one should be as informed as possible about possible risks and complications. I'm looking to move into broadcast journalism after a couple of years and I can't be seen on telly with this conker.
So if anybody has strong opinions on Martin Huang, Woffles Wu, Vincent or Harry - please feel free to let me know.
With regards to Thailand, I'm going down in September to have consultations with Bumrungrad - Dr. Amorn and Dr. Preecha from PAI. I need to understand how competent they may be and see what their advice would be when contrasted against the best that Singapore has to offer.
Cost-wise, I believe Thailand to be far cheaper by far but there's a difference between less expensive and cheap and I'll be going on a fact-finding trip to Thailand this September. Does anyone intend to take an exploratory trip down there just to scope out the place and the quality of medical care? You're welcome to join me.
If i do intend to take up surgery in Thailand, I intend to go down with a few similarly-minded souls as that will really aid in recuperation. So , happy-taraz, I'm keen to take you up on that invitation to head down together in December.
If anyone has any personal thoughts on the above, please drop me an email at [email protected] or laeve a reply on this thread.
Thanks for reading, you guys take it easy out there.

Excuse me, MEDICTBP ?medictbp wrote: I agree <with the 'Guest' above my message>;
Bumrungrad, Bangkok Hospitals, PAI are still a better choice; although slightly expensive. But, they have some citeria for the physicians who want to have the prestigious attachment with them. (Like 8 years of experience etc.) So doctors on their list, 're rated good; w/o much doubt.
In a way, Thailand/ Korean/ China surgeons 're more experienced than Singapore surgeons. A typical thai plastic surgeon, do about double the amount of patient most singaporean plastic surgeon do.
Some doctors, work 7Days a week; as long u make an appointment - they'll be there. -> Preecha, Sanguan.
Sincerest regards,

2. But, in my case, i just dont need implant that ordinary they did. a little bit more specific like, JAW IMPLANT ( to me make stronger -defined jaw use like silicone implantech, etc )
3. Because i think its rather rare ( n its hard too...not like rhino or somekind like that ) to put implant at that kind place (jaw) --> in asia i mean,but i've search and western was so often did that.

Hello backhere03,
my answers are to the points, i'd broke down from your postings;
1. You 'd been looking at tons of surgeons who have professional experience in facial implants !
2. What you're seeking is a chin implant aka chin augmentation.
3. Contrary to what you believe, it is not rare at all; few patients go to the plastic surgeon to get facial implants. Normally, is only after the patient had seen the plastic surgeon; than he'll get to know chin augmentation.
Normally, is performed with Rhinoplasty; to promote a 'facial-harmony' look. (To all Rhinoplasty seekers, take note too; you may be introduced to chin implants too) The implant is insert thru the lower lips, an incision is cutted in the gum; i'd mine done in 05 May this year, the result is good - but the chin is still having a numb feeling; this feeling is suppose to last for up to 1 year.
In fact many plastic surgery options are available, there are small face-lifts that don't need even 1 weeks to recover; and the incision is basically invisible. So, all you've to go is just to ask them.
Sincerest regards.
