May be during that time my nose is still not stable, anyway, the worst scenerio happend!!! Infection!!! (thunderstorm sound comes in....)

I saw a PS in HK, as expected, antibiotics (BTW, actually GP said that all antibiotics can kill the gems, if you encounter such problem, see GP and get cheap antibiotics, ok, don't be con'ed by the PS)

No use, infection get worse, from the outside it cldn't tell, but the tip of the nose is hot and there's a white patch, the cartilage is pushing the skin to a very tight stage.

I then consult another private hospital in HK which is famous for PS and had a thorough consultation. The doc gave me 4 days consecutive injection for strong antibiotics, keep eating the pills that I got fr previous doc, double dose... Doc said if it doesn't heal, must take out everything!!! Then S$10,000 will be down to drain, I thought... then cry again. 1 week later... it subsides, thanks God!!! But some problem with my bottom part (ladies problem, according to doc, the antibiotics kill any baterias inside my body, incl the good once down there... luckily it's not a permanent thing after I stop taking antibiotics...)

The PS doc in the hospital suspected the infection is caused by a giant pimple at the side of my nose and he gave me a powerful pimple cream. It helps to kill subsequent ones and from then on, I need to be careful and keep a good complextion.

Rabbit,

sorri borrowed your post abit ok?

I got Vitamins C tablets for two of the forumers here to take for their pre and post PS because of the above scenarios, which i dun want to happen to them, and waste their $, suffer pain and also not to go thru the pain of reoperation again. I think i got post in the past abt getting Vitamins C for post operation protection.

Realise the Rabbit's complication come TWO months after Operation? most would have thought their unsafe days are over.. which sadly issn't. it is not really that safe as we normally thought within the 1st 2-3 months post op which i think i mentioned before in the past.

i reason i get them Vitamins C is to boost their immune system, increase their healing rate, reduce their scarring and also reduce the chances of infections, complications and rejections. I hope they understand what i am doing for them and not just to scare or con them.

astrogirl wrote:Plastic surgery is elective surgery, it is by choice.

Reconstructive/corrective plastic surgery, sometimes due to accidents or potential health risk etc, some patients are also unhappy with the results.
It is not uncommon for any patient to feel blue after surgery, be it plastic, heart or cateract.

What we picture in our heads may not manifest 'as is' in reality; expectations are not met therefore disappointments set in.

Most times, the ps results take time to settle; anywhere from 3 to 18 months. Perhaps because ps is elective surgery, some may start having doubts and second thoughts about their decisions. We look at ourselves in the mirror at least once a day, brush our teeth, comb our hair.... more times when we've had surgery done.

Unless the ps resulted in the patient looking like a freak.... and then this is subjective again....it should be taken up with the ps doctor and not just start getting rude and slagging posters in this forum. I'm not taking sides, just hoping that everyone has some sense of responsibility and understanding when they sign their name on the dotted line in the agreement to the surgery. When in doubt, put it on hold.

yes i agree, the PS job is not complete till it took the final shape. look at Dawn yeo as an example. her looks changes every month even 1 year plus after her op.. however recently her face is more stabilise liao. of coz it can be becoz of her makeup which i am not expert in..

Hi jovin,

U be going back to e same doc to redo e eyelid surgery? Will it be good for my cousin to go the another doc to do review since her doc is no longer in e market? Hmm... if e eyelid is low cease, will it be safe to do a higher cease?

Im rather interested to do the kai yan tao leh after seeing cupid^n^starz's

she will need to go back to the doctor who did the 1st time for her revision, this is the suggestion make by most doctor, including Dr Su.
She can cut her eyelid again but then she need to expect higher chance of complication and she may not like the result of the revision as there are high % of unsatisfactory revision job as it is much harder to do than cutting it the 1st time..

not forgotting it is highly recommended not to do more than 3 times eyelid surgery in one's life time.. thus she may like to seek best doctor for advice and suggestion before proceeding ahead..
Hey there Tanjhj,

I am reconsidering to do another eyelid revision and may i ask why do u highly recommend not to do more than 3 times eyelid surgery i one's life.
Like i told jollin before, i went to him to revised my eyelids to remove the stitches so i acn have my natural eyelids back but there is scarring in the tissue and therefore the fold is still there and still the same. Please help.

Thanks!

appletree,

actually, u may like to ask your fren whether she wanna redo her eyelid becoz she wanna have bigger looking eyes or thicker eyecrease.

coz thicker high crease doesnt really result in "bigger" eyes. in fact if she wants her eyes to open bigger, she can opt for a no scar eye muscle surgery. many korean actress with eye open big big one has low crease and but they did that eye muscle surgery on top of their double eyelid surgery to make their eyes "open" bigger.

like that she can have lesser risk of scars and unnatural looking eyelid. however now the con.. this surgery if not done properly may result in eyes not able to shut fully. also currently, i only doc i see is dr kim who post before he do this surgery. i am not sure if dr chuang or dr jung does that but local doctors i dun think they do it or well trained enough to do it.

also spore has different trend than in korea and taiwan, where they almost 70% opt for low to medium crease than high crease.

she is a famous PS spore blogger. i am not sure if she has archive for her old pics from her past blog postings..

she change from asian looking to eurasian looking now. look at her current eyes, look like doe's eyes and japanese cartoon character.. but big, cute and sweet i must say..

hellooo GUYS!!!
Well well well.... seems like i missed lot of hot things this few weeks!
Huah,.. really hectic.. really busy but really miss u all ..guys. these days I have many works to do, ive got so much promotion these days on my work.. i have travelling too.. ( since i got my new face! haha ) hectic,.. but enjoyed it!
Im so sorry too all forumers whos msg me by email.. i havent check that account yet till now... suprisingly , I dont expect that my inbox would b full of questions msg bout my procedures huh?
im so sory i will try to reply it one by one ok. but after this Maybe I wont be able to active on forum anymore. so i will answer it completely as I could ok. Good luck to all ur surgery Guys! Prayes for forumers here having wonderful result!

Hm... whats hapen on this forum? seems kinda classic problem .. hope its already cleared now. huah...
let us learn form the past! FORUMMERS, especialy whos still under the age or naive or candidate pre-surgery whatsoever; Do our own research like I have! We should not just rely on this forum whatever the forumers are. I'm not trying to say if this Board is not trustable. It just not right -not strong enough proof WHEN we decided going under the knife to OUR own face.

SERIOUSLY, It is for our own good. I kinda tired to letting all people know bout it many2 times.
I don't mean to sound c-o-c-k-y, but I am one of the patients on the boards who were the first to have minor procedures like the jaw or mandibular implant -browbossing implants which is not all surgeon able to did my procedures - with many surgery's history also Post Pictures too. So please.. I'd been on this position on my previous surgery - dissatisfied with the result - feel so much anger with everyone - with the ps, feel so much regret. Trust me, I know how it feels. It tooks a very long time for me to accept it and back positive thinking again. But after that, i try to learn and compromised, I learn from my past and all others bad experiences of my friends.

Remember! Its all OUR own surgery, OUR own money, OUR own face, So, WE-OURself whos right to decide then. Even with the most FAMOUS TOP BEST of THE BEST surgeon in the world, theres no surgeon is 100% all the time. surgery is not exact.

I just try to be fair , I've ever had in dissatisfied patient position but also in ur position too long time ago. As personal actually, I kinda Proud of you, cos I believed you already know if helping people the outcome is not always get good attention or even could force back to u, Honestly,.. thats why I'm not intend helping people on anykind of forums too serious except those whos asked to me, as I dont like getting blasted because of bad attention or beat me up verbally. Its just not worth at all for me.
Well then, Dont take all above seriously as its not use. btw , its great lesson for all of us right.

yca wrote:Hi everyone,

Me very long nv post liao. Getting super lazy & upset to post lah. Course i now hate my nose more than before ps mah. Also dont know what to do now about my nose leh. just dont feel like talking or seeing anyone lor. so have been keep delaying finding a job too!! i dont even come into this forum often now. Anyway the reason why i'm posting now is bcoz i just read tht someone (alan something) had said something real mean to Tanjhj, and i hope tat Tanjhj dont be really bothered by what he had said lor. u had meant in a good and kind way to help out the ppl here in the forum, but maybe really like what ocean11 had say, maybe just a little overboard lor.

Tanjhj,

To be a little honest and be frank w u, now when i everytime think back to the time before my ps surgery, to be frank, the 1st time i saw dr for consulation, he bad mood. the 2nd time i go for ps (that's right before surgery, he slightly good mood, but after i passed my hp to let him talk to u, he became even more bad mood!!!! I think as he's mood already no good, yet u keep telling him what to do and not to do and /or wasted his time or whatever, makes him even more bad mood lor. So that's why he didnt bother to talk or explain to me anything lor. And bad communication = bad results and bad feelings lor!

Anyway, i have to admit that slightly he's bad mood is caused by you, as i can see he's face changed when u were talking to him. But then the real fault is not w you lah. Is w him!! Because as a dr, how can he good mood then do good, bad mood then anyhow do leh? Should be for every patient must do his best right? So i cant blame u but him right?

Anyway, i'm posting because as i very long nv post, in case wait other ppl here (those who know abt it) might think that the friend of Alan is me mah!! So i just wanna write to say that i'm not the Alan 's friend at all lor.

And also to tell Tanjhj not to be really bothered by what he had said lah. U really got spend yr time and helped quite alot of ppl here mah. And u also got help to give me advice on the after care rules & etc as my dr nv bothered to tell me @ all.

And to tht 'Alan's friend', (if she or alan is reading this) ps surgery is a personal choice, turn out good or not good is really no one not even the dr can guarantee one. But if really die die one to blame someone, then blame the dr. Because if he cant do it or dont feel like in a mood to do it, then dont do it! why take ppl's money already and spolit someone's face? (Unless it's due to infection then cant blame dr lor) But anyway, can always find someother dr to redo it lor. (only problem is have to again find $ , find/plan the available time, and also to cross fingers that this time round everything will be ok lor!! )

Anyway, i would like to ask those ppl who had done their surgery elsewhere, but go to another dr in spore for either review /redo/ remove stitchs or etc, - who do u go to? Will u feel pai seh to see the new dr, as the original operation was not done by him? Anyone who knows which dr who is not sales oriented but can really give honest advice? As i wanna go see local dr for advice, but i scare they sales oriented and tell me this and that and make me do redo w them. Scare i will spend even more money, time/effort/gg through the pain just to ' take heavy rock and throw on my own feet leh'!!! :???: Anyone can pls kindly share on this or advice me ?? I been thinking for very long, but dont know who should i go to or not lei?

And oh yes, to Cupid, glad to hear that u r ok now. Saw yr pics on yr eyes, very very nice. :D Trying to put up the pic to electric gals here is it? hee hee just kidding lah. Anyway, really very nice , very strong and powerful too. Like yr eyes can say a thousand words like that.

YCA !!! Glad hear it form you?! How r you?? still battle with mosquitos!?!? ;) yca VS Mosquitos. haha. kidding.
Thats great bout what you said yca. seems u're not too satisfied wth the result.. as while this is ur first time had surgery? Take my hat off to you YCA, you've got a great attitude. I know plenty of people twice your age who would spend years whining and cracking up over what happened. Seems like you've come to terms with it, and will move on wiser from your experience. Good on you! and.. Best of luck to you!

However please understand that all saloon pics have been modified already. We can creat a nose which is similar to idol but not the same.
2. Double eyelid surgery with lateral canthoplasty: Please see the idol's lower eyelash. He has a more loosening or curvatural shape than you. That's no doubt that you can have a very natural double eyelid through Korean upper belpharoplasty. However if you want the bigger eyes like him I would shggest you to receive lateral canthoplasty additionally. The cost of upper blepharoplasty combined with lateral canthoplasty is NT34000 totally. Of course that's not a package price.
So the eyes job will be:
Korean upper blepharoplasty
Lateral canthoplasty
3. Mole excision: That's a simple procedure. You can take it out anytime you want. The scar will go away after half an year.
4. Brow lifting: I don't think its a good idea for you at this moment because this procedure will cause an unatural appearance for a man with quite heavy eyebrow. I would suggest you to have eyebrow hair removal or reshaping just like many girls do.
5. Forehead depression: The best procedure to correct your forehead dimpling is perment filler injection. There are several good materials to get. I will recommand Aquamid(Denmark) or Bio-Alkamid(Italia) for choice. THese two materials will make the result perfect.

How do you think about my suggestions? Please keep in touch with me anytime.

Chuang

Glad hear about it Tanjhj! So its close to ur own surgey time right! So, already decided! good luck to ur surgery this year !
eh bout the nose job procedures deatiles that Dr.C gives to you.r u serious thats prices included the oteotomy work? If yes then it should be really cheap lor!! u have all in one package with the corrective osteotomy work thing!! cos its osteotomy need cutting of bone which is group in aggresive work.huah! Good luck!
bout forehead. im wondering? whats kind of dimpling u have on ur forehead?

yes Tanjhj. I like the way he treated me too. When I almost give up still looking for doctor in thailand( Dr. Somsak, Dr. preecha, etc ),.. korea ( dr park, etc) ,.. The said they are not able to do my procedures cause they just said if my expectation is Unrealistic ,... bla bla bla .... at that time it almost make me really2 droped and give up ... till i found dr C.
I admit it,. if my procedures is minor procedures and classified in reconstruction surgery than just cosmetic surgery. its much harder than other procedure. but look at me now. ha...

based on my experiences, a lot of times, doctors will say they don't recommend a procedure ( said "but" , "cant" , etc.. as u said ) cause they're not well versed in it. So they tend to recommend procedures that they themselves could do on you.. and make that business transaction =P

To other candidate,... good luck too yea..all the best for your healing and wonderful result whatsoever the surgeon!!
To Dr Chuangs candidate patients, remember to tell him all detailed bout all what u expected to ur face. DETAILED!!! cos basically He's a conservative surgeon n prefers to subtle or very2 subtle if u let him choose for ur OWN face.

If needed, make much morphing before/after via digital from our own version using photosoph or similar software. if you're not able , Paid or hire for a difgital artist make for it. Yea, it exhausted and sounds silly but trust me. its all really worthy! .. Cause in the end, The ball is in OUR hand with whom the ps, OURself got to decided.
Lucky me I'm able n conversant to use Photosph design as I was born as an artist. Hee... :D

Cupidz,

welcome back! glad u enjoying ur new life with ur new Eurasian looks!

well this flaming is pretty normal lah compared to what u see in other more "childish" singapore forums. but what hurt most is being attack and accused by ppl u helped alot and also the part which i was kinda link to breaking the heart of a lady. nevertheless, those who are smart enough should see the real character of the forumers here by the postings.

learned a big lesson, cant help everyone and not everyone deserve my serious help. i will be more selective from now on as some "nice" forumer will ask alot of help from u and just turn and bite ur hands the next moment.. ouch!

Yupz i more or less decided to be done by Dr Chuang coz his price is a steal as oteotomy is involved. quite complex surgery for my nose and yet he charges me only 4k+ is really kind of him. many ppl may doesnt really know much abt oteotomy or nose surgery thought it was expensive!

as for my forehead, i got a depression the size of a fifty cents coin coz when i was below 10, i felt from height and hit my forehead and that part form the depression i am having now.. was thinking abt implants for more perm fixed but will consider aquamid as dr c. suggested.

yes cupidz, i know that most PS doc wont recommend procedures they arent familiar in or difficult surgery. most just wanna earn easy money. i like the way dr c. website becoz it shows the way he thinks and do and his principle. i think he is a perfectionist from the way he demands from himself, give guarantees on all his PS and the way he upgrade himself.. i think he has real passion in PS that drive him to accomplish what he got so far. most importantly he dares to try new and better techniques.. he may not be the no1 doc for each surgery type but he is one of the best all rounder young PS doc i find in taiwan so far. kudos to him.

next thing why i like him coz he like sports car n he got taste, as i like the sport rims he have. lol  i like the way he love his wife.. shows alot abt him. opppssss.. maybe i post too much good stuff abt dr c. liao somebodies may get red eyed.. shhh...

well, it all boils down to $$$. if i can save enough by this year end i may go for more aggresive PS like you Cupidz, my idol now  . thou i more or less settled for the abv procedures.

Ps:The quote he states me was last year dec one , so i hope he will stick to it when i go there end of this year..

Hello Hello84! I remember u're the one whos support me right! ehehe hows ur surgey plan this june with dr.c ? hope everything going well then.

Hee... :D

yes taiwan PS culture is more consevative by default, the ppl there mostly opt for subtle and unoticeable changes. the way they choose their eyelid crease u can tell areadi. mostly choose low to medium crease.. which explain alot of the pics posted on taiwan ps website n dr c. website n clinic.. even dr jung posted very natural n conservative PS but if u research and ask enough, u know they are capable of more..

yes u must be detailed on what u want but expect only maybe 70-80% close to what u dream abt.
