Hi who,

I travelled to Taipei alone for a couple of days before my friends joined me later on.

Personally, I think its quite safe in Taipei as long as you dun stay out late alone. One thing in Taiwan is that their 6+pm in the evening looks like our 9-10pm so their night comes much faster than ours. Try to stay inbound when the night falls & it shd be ok.

Taipei is super convenient as everywhere is mrt, even a road blind like me wun get lost there. But one thing if u are having surgery there is how u gonna take care of urself & ur daily 3 meals if u are alone & with ur super duper swollen eyes, its gonna be rather difficult. This is one of my major concerns which stopped me from going to Taiwan for surgery.

Anyone have advice how to overcome this?? Wld be very much appreciated.

Heh, another alternative is wear a cap and bring it low to ur eye brow. That's what i did during the 1st week.

another one is Order Room Service ! u don have to step out of the room..but when u back.. u gonna put on few kg on weight.. hehehe..

advice which u told me and i consider it wise n i kinda stop responding to requests except some simpler recomendation of doc. procedures recommendation has stopped long ago. I m kinda tired too, in fact last year was so obessed with PS that i almost failed exams n have some changes, become very judgemental of ppl looks. so i hope those younger forumers to be aware of this problem..

as for the flamer n stalker in the forum, i am least bothered and hope u all not disturbed by it.

Nevertheless, i am very happy for those who did their PS with dr Jung and dr chuang and are enjoying their PS. this is what ultimately i wanted to do.

just to share something,

just came back from nite entertainment. it is a long time since i went for one. realise that the new generation are better looking and more taste in dressing. however i also realise there is alot more PS faces. I feel i am getting old with ppl doing their PS so young and i havent do mine..

all i can say i realise abt PS only at sept 2006 abit too late but than i not giving up on PS. i asked if i can be become like 80% close to this jap idols

and dr chuang said yes and gave me his precise procedures steps and price. all i can say after listening to alot of "sori", "cant" and "but" from other doctors. his words is like water to my spirit and from than onwards i am converted. and he is the only one who write in confidence and in details every step what he is going to do to help me achieved my desired looks.

book my date on july 2007 and price straight away with him. negotiated with him if i can get more ppl to him can have more discount (old habit as i was from purchasing dept), he agrees and said all those recommended bought by me will recv'd extra discount.

due to Jovin recommendation, i agree it is better to do it at year end when the weather in either TW or KR is colloer, better and suitable for healing.. furthermore i intend to go sightseeing after the 5th day then to stay in my room... my 3 days jan suppose PS trip with dr Sukit to Thailand areadi almost killed me, cooling days are way better as i wont sweat and risk infection.

looking forward to year end.. if i can stay firm till year end bonus comes, i can even go to Kr... tempting and confusing at the same time..

Yes I saw the pics you attached to me. It is possible for you to "look like" that Jap idol because you all have a longer face. For this purpose I will suggest the following procedures:
1. Open rhinoplasty with corrective osteotomy: You have a slight deviated nose(C-shape) and a little wide base over nasal bone and alar base. The nasal tip is okay. We should correct the bony part with osteotomy to make your nose more "narrowing" and straight, then increase the dorsal height with implant or Goretex. The total cost including osteotomy procedure should be NT80000 but I will give you the best price.
Now you should understand the whole contents of rhinoplasty that I will suggest you are:
Dorsal augmentation with Goretex/silicone implant
Corrective osteotomy of nasal bone
Tiplasty with septal cartilage graft
Tip centralization with dome sutures and cartilage reposition
Alar reduction and nostril narrowing
However please understand that all saloon pics have been modified already. We can creat a nose which is similar to idol but not the same.
2. Double eyelid surgery with lateral canthoplasty: Please see the idol's lower eyelash. He has a more loosening or curvatural shape than you. That's no doubt that you can have a very natural double eyelid through Korean upper belpharoplasty. However if you want the bigger eyes like him I would shggest you to receive lateral canthoplasty additionally. The cost of upper blepharoplasty combined with lateral canthoplasty is NT34000 totally. Of course that's not a package price.
So the eyes job will be:
Korean upper blepharoplasty
Lateral canthoplasty
3. Mole excision: That's a simple procedure. You can take it out anytime you want. The scar will go away after half an year.
4. Brow lifting: I don't think its a good idea for you at this moment because this procedure will cause an unatural appearance for a man with quite heavy eyebrow. I would suggest you to have eyebrow hair removal or reshaping just like many girls do.
5. Forehead depression: The best procedure to correct your forehead dimpling is perment filler injection. There are several good materials to get. I will recommand Aquamid(Denmark) or Bio-Alkamid(Italia) for choice. THese two materials will make the result perfect.

To confirm, the Dr Su from Taipei who does very good job in double eyelid surgery is 蘇惠珍醫師, her clinic is 電眼美人診所 right? Better make sure i get the right Dr Su... hee.

Mesotherapy is something that might work, or might not work. It's not proven to work actually.

Smartlipo can only help if you want to do contouring i.e. not removing too much fats.

Has anyone done their alarplasty recently? Appreciate if you can share with me the results, recovery time etc...thanks!

I went for a rhino (L-shaped implant) with Dr Harry Fok (previously at Paragon Medical, now moved to Mt E) last year. Did not see much difference, and am going back to him today for an alar + otoplasty (pinning back the ears) consult.
He quoted me $2500 for alar and $5000 for the otoplasty via email. The alar sounds okie, but the pricing for otoplasty seems abit steep....
