I am going to have my rhinoplasty during June in Yanhee hospital (by Dr Sukit).
Air tickets and accommodation have been booked and paid for.
I read that some people recommend Sineech for bruising...tried googling but came up with very limited information about it.
Is Arnica Montana effective? Is Sineech another name for Arnica Montana?
Any tips on how to reduce the swelling and bruising? Hot or cold compress?

Hi Pinkyice

Arnica Montana is the name of the herb, they are mostly sold in the form of little pills in herbal shops, not reliable. Sinecch is the brand name of arnica montnana manufactured in FDA homeopathic approved labs. I've used it for my eye bags removal and had very minimum bruising and swelling.

I'm not sure about rhinoplasty. For my eyelids, I was told to use cold compress for 2 days and then warm compress for the rest of the week to help circulation.

Actually, it's said that 90% of a person's face is changed once you go for rhinoplasty combined with an eye job. So if you're thinking of doing that combined with a jaw/chin job, yes, you'd end up nearly totally different :)

Hey Xiaozhu,

I kinda agree with Tanjhj. Why would you want to change so much of your face? ( unless you're a criminal on the run ). Have you thought about the feelings and reactions of all your family, relatives, friends, colleagues...etc? I personally feel that PS should be to enhance, not to change.

Anyway, to answer your question, doing cheekbones and jaw wouldn't change your face as much as a nose job and an eye job. At best, people might just think you've slimmed down somewhat or that you look better, but can't tell exactly where or why.

I'd advise you to get a filler job and botox for a slimmer jaw to see if you like your new look before you go and do something permanent. :)

hey pinkyice,
I did my nose abt 2.5 wks ago..you used the cold compress for the 1-3rd day then switch to warm compress till your swelling and bruising is gone. I would advise you to buy some air purifier or stuff if you have senstitive nose like I do cos sneezing is really painful if the place is too dusty. As I did my nose in Singapore, so I got my Sinneech from the doc. that I did it with..
Think it's best you have someone to take care of you when you in Bankok cos you cant bend down or do big actions..
cheers :)

Hi Big eyes-mm,

I am sorry to hear that your skin becomes like that. I have no idea about what kind of chemical that lady injected into your skin. If you say placenta, i suggest you do a search on that substance or better still consult a skin doctor. I did my fillers with a qualified doctor. I do not have lumpy lumpy skin after the injection. Because the substance is like a silicon gel (like a soft bone). I am really worried about your condition. If you have time please consult a doctor ya...

Dont worry, i will not scold you.

Kind Regards

By the way, I dunno what's wrong with my injection. now the swelling subside, but it becomes very soft in my face, like when u touch, u don't feel tight skin, u feel lumpy lumpy like that! wanna press pimple also cannot, coz the whole skin like lumpy.

Summore got bruising.

I feel so worried. i don't know how. Was urs like that too?

I don't know what she inject la, she's not trained dr, just a beautician which my fren recommended.

*really regret*

feel like crying. I dare not tell my bf and also my friends. sure everybody scold one.. So I got nobody to share with

he does do it but none of us here has done the levator muscle surgery coz not everyone is suitable and not all of us want to look like dolls.

it can be scary with big big eyes if the effect is not that well done or that person's foundation is not suitable for big big eyes.

of coz it is best to ask dr chuang personally 1st

Hi Pinkyice

I did my eyelid surgery in Singapore, my doctor supplied it. Most of the local plastic surgeons stock it I think.

Yesh... My dear Da jie, just back. What's up?
Infact i just seen Dr Chuang yesterday and we "la kopi" until 11pm.. He's really dam busy...

While waiting before consultation had a long chat with his recepts, not bad looking, the younger's natural, the other's PSed. They comment that singaporean customers are already quite pretty before PS. And they keep mentioning that Singaporeans look much better than Taiwanese. Heh Heh. Ecoli and friends, Who'r the ones whom reinforce their ideas on that?

Oops. a customer fall flat on the chair (nearly hit the floor) after a lipo (She looks really pale, fainting mode), me and recepts were talking during that time. All Stun for 4 secs before helping her up...

Dr chuang says it's possible to improve my looks drastically.. advise me do chin, eyebrow implant, a slight filling on my nose bridge to accomodate the new face. total burning will be 150k NT. Well, told him may be a few months later go find him for the proper procedures. Meanwhile got the ideas on what to do. maybe find korean sources.

Consultation fee. NT$300~ $15/SGD. Talked for nearly 1 hr.
