They r nt a bangkok clinic, u pay them some money on top of medical fees; which is quite expensive. rather make the appt. to the inbound agents, who dun mark up the price at all. www.medicalthailand.com

Y pay so much extra?

hey its great that dr huang shows pictures of previous patients.. what im worried about is that the changes isnt significant after the operation.. then its equivalent to paying for nothing. im not opting for any implants/silicone etc.. just plain reduction.. hope that way its cheaper.. and easier to do.. =/ will write in after consultation.

Yes, Medical agents in foreign land other than Thailand; do mark up the price, but could be justified with their effort in making a combination of ur trip into a package.

Accommodation, Medical treatment etc.

Rabbit, u sae u got scars after the alarplasty rite?? is it at the side if the nose?? I ask the yanhee hospital doctor they sae they will do an incision inside the nose so there wont be any scars.. Is urs done outside?? Didi u ask dr huang whether an internal incision is possible..?? Lastly , we can make loan ( fr where) to do plastic surgery one??
Hi Ceci,

The scars are at the corner of the nostril, not very obvious but still visible, plus my up turn fat nose.

I didn't ask Dr. Huang re internal incision, but will bear in mind... I guess I need to decide who to go to (ie Dr. Huang or Dr. Jung in Seoul) first.

Regarding $, I suggest you can consider Manhattan's Fund Transfer. The interest is really cheap, I guess it's 4% per annum if I'm not wrong, vs credit card 24%. You can check their web-site: www.wowmanhattan.com

Ya, the healthaesthetic conultation is FOC, think thailand doc r more pro in plastic surgery..Spore ones like not that experiecned.. Tats my main concern : tat the result may not be the one i want..or worst, its like almost no change except to scar my face..!

But one thing is tat i dun wish to go thailand alone to do my nose..Doin the op is a v.scary thing alr , n yet i need go to a foreign cty myself!? cos i dun wan to let any of my family members or frens noe abt the op, tats y i cant ask them to acc me go..

Thanks rabbit for ur info ya.. Oh ya, i think u shld go ask the doc abt the internal stitching thing, cos i email the thailand docs, they sae they do it internalli, so there wont be any external scars.. Doesnt tis sounds great?? So u wont need to worry any more abt scars on ur face aft teh op.. At least even if the result not tat satisfying, it doesnt leave with two scras tat arent there b4 the op .. Afterall the op is supposed to improve ur look, not make it worst?? isnt it??
BTw, r u oso getting a loan fr manhattan??

I'm also a inbound agent, if u're keen in getting the procedures in BKK; can drop me a email.

MedicalThailand.com, works mainly for Phuket. I'm not sure how they work.

But for me, it'll depend on the procedures; and medical provider, 'll provide assistance if required & requested.

Hi Cecil,

Err... for student would be a bit tough.... yes, I probably would go for Manhattan, last time I need some urgent cash to bridge over, S$1,500, only charged me S$5 interest.

I've been reading the 2004 comments on Platic Surgery in Singapore. Are there any updates?

I had rhinoplasty done in Brazil beginning this year, but would like to do some minor adjustments. Was thinking of doing that in Singapore but with all th e negative comments i read, i think i may have lost my nerve and would be better off doing a 34-hour flight back to Rio. What about the Brazilian plastic surgeon in SIngapore. Anyone know anything?
