yes taiwan does korean style chin and cheek shaving.
Dr Chunag of Wishclinic does that and it is as he posted in his website. the cost should be anything from twd80000-100000

as for ur eyelid maintain the stitch till it drop bah.. than go for the double eyelid via cutting next time..
Velvet_CK wrote:Ripped, ya.

Started reading this thread for the past 1 week, and done the double eyelids 8months ago. If only i read this thread last time.

Stitched? Been there, done that. Most probably I will try for the korean style incision for my eyelids once it falls.

Korean style bone shaving or chin augumenation?
Taiwan offers that?

If not I'm thinking of Korea BK clinic straight. Any other pointers?
I heard stories that chin shaving is quite a risky process as compared to other surgery types. and the downtime is relatively long. Around 2 weeks of soring and difficulty of eating?

+ months before you see results.

Most probably I may not do the chin thingee.. Quite confident of what I'm having now.

If anyone whom wants to see the stitched double eyelid by Dr WW
my Before and After pics, PM me.
I will send you.

Cheers

Velvet_CK i'm new here can't pm you. Wanna see your before and after pics can? can email me? lol.

KALO CLinic Field Report

Post by tanjhj » Sat, 30 Dec 2006 10:53 pm

Today I went with Yen and her family to Kalo clinic at JB. I have the luck to see her and her sister did their nose job at kalo using Goretex L implant. The clinic was quite new and pretty clean. have a tok with Ms Tay and one of her consultant. her consultant is quite pretty but no operation done, so she was all natural and i asked if she is thinking of doing her nose... and she say "how u know.." lolz

after that i proceed to a small room for consultation and i asked what would she recommend for me to do.. she use a toothpick to create a eyelid and commented that i am not suitable for stitching method coz i have excess flab at my outer corner of my eyes.
i asked her what eyelid i should do and she recommended medium crease. ok, at least her freq is same as me..lolz and i asked if i wanna have bigger eyes. she recommended Kai yan toh and kai yan wei.
than she pinch my nose bridge and commented on my nose and suggested the most expensive goretex nose package and said i may need to have open incision to work on my slightly deviated nose bone and also the lipo for my face.

than she proceed to show me their pricing and tried to psycho me to sign up and pay deposit for my eyelid surgery, i told her i am going overseas on 10 jan and her manager told me "enough time to heal one, stitching heal in 1 week, cutting one less than 2 weeks..." however i was thinking like huh... where got so fast healing rate.. also i am not going to holiday with a swollen eyes and not able to eat anything i like becoz of my surgery loh.. siao ah...lolz

i told them that i will get back to them later on after i return from my holiday... than the younger consultant face become abit less friendly. Ms tay is more professional and she kept her friendly gesture..

after i left the room shortly, Yen came out and i was shocked wah her nose so big.. oh later i was told it was because of swelling.. but than YEn amazed me because after a while her swelling came down alot in just 1 hour.. amazing healing rate... she did a high bridge and sharp nose tip with the goretex L implant and her face changed dramatically from before her operation. her face become more 3D and her nose tip much higher and sharper. and yes her eyelid also kinda change slightly.

after 1 hour, her sis came out and they got identical nose. lolz but ithink Yen's nose is nicer as it suit her face more than her sis. later the china doc came out and he answered my question i posted and he agreed that i should go for normal cutting technique with kai yan toh and kai yan wei.. and he did say that thou my nose bone is slightly deviated ( i guess due to my pref to sleep on my side) however he can customised cut the goretex implant to suit my slightly deviated nose bone so that it still can appear normal and straight. wow i guess this is something which i suspect goretex can do which silicone cant.

what amazed me the most is the Goretex L implant. Kalo has three type German made- RM 1888. Very straight and high bridge but is harder but still softer than silicone, USA made - RM 3288. slightly curved outwards not as straight as german made so will look more natural but slightly softer than silicone. Korean made - RM4288. the goretex is straight L but it is one goretex implant but made up of 3 sections the top section is harder , the medium less hard and the nose tip portion is soft. thus when u pinch the nose ti, it is softer. if open incision is needed. it will cost RM8000 onwards..very expensive...

at RM1888 and RM3288 for the normal goretex L implant, it is cheap but not sure if it suit all ppl thou.. furthermore goretex is slightly softer than silicone so less extrusion risk

their eyelid stitch method is cheap at RM1288 thus those with no excess skin and fatty eyelid can consider but bewarned, the eyelid may drop after 8 months - 2years. lucky wll be more than 3 years. but their normal cutting is same as taiwan price but if i add the Kai yan toh and kai yan wei it will be RM 6000. 40% more expensive than Taiwan Dr Chuang TWD41000. same price as spore doctor. furthermore dr chuang is using korean cutting method than normal one.. saw their photos and the nurse as live demo, i dun think their eyelid is up to standard yet. unnatural looking eyelid job. stitch wise still can do..

I have a tok with the china doctor too and he told me he is not trained in korea and i dun think he knows how to do korean style nose job. and he told me that china PS skills is now better than korea becoz there is more ppl for them to operate on...well i leave u to judge..

Pro of Kalo:

cheap to affordable normal Goretex L implant nose job only. cheaper than spore by 70-50%. around 10-30% cheaper than taiwan.

cheap "korean" eyelid stitching method. cheaper than taiwan

expensive breast job, same as spore or more ex

chin augmentation, same as spore or slightly cheaper
Lipo - around same as Spore or slightly cheaper

Con of kalo:

relatively cheap eyelid if only doing eyelid but was not very amazed by the eyelid photos and skill. Taiwan eyelid skill still better looking and natural, next their price is more expensive than taiwan. also they do only normal eyelid cutting method.

the doctor give me this impression he is just working and doing his job there. doesnt really have passion in his work.

Conclusion: at the price Kalo is offering, i would recommend it to ppl who just want a normal L implant nose job and stiching eyelid can go there.

However if come to more complex surgery like open incision nose job, and Eyelid cutting for optimal eyelid looks, i dun think kalo is up to the mark. if those wanna do eyelid n nose job together, i rather u go to taiwan...

Lastly, i like to thanks Yen for sharing Kalo with me and allow us another cheaper alternatives than thailand..

Kalo contact: 07- 334 4399 plz mentioned u r recommended by Yen for better discount.. :P Update: not willing to give disc, even with package discount also expensive..

Herbal recommendation by sinseh:

after visited KALO with YEn, i went to admiralty to see Sinseh coz i am heaty with ulcers on my tongue.

I asked abt Tian QI and Almond Powder for PS

she said that if simple opeartion like nose job and eyelid surgery. Tian Qi not that useful. it is more for major operation like breast job and bone shaving..

almond powder is for lung so it will help the skin in the long run.

for WU Kong Grass, she said she never heard it before..

Than she told me to get Yin Qiao or Xiao tablets from chinese medical hall for simple PS to aid in healing.

my advise is forget it till u r 21.

a worthy doc wont recommend u any nose job coz u are too young and ur nose will contd to grow till 18-21. if any implant inseted before that may result u having distorted nose as ur nose grow..

but why are so many parents giving their children for their 16th b'dae? lol, not very sure, but really hope to have one asap. if i don have a serious problem with my nose bridge, but just the tip and the nostrils, is it possible to not have rhinoplasty, but just alarplasty?? or any other advice/recommendation?

where u heard this from? 18 years old maybe but not 16.. at 16, even double eyelid surgery may be useless after few months. u can do it but dun regret it when ur nose job is deviated..
