i see... one thing i like abt dr seah is he is very honest in his comments. he is not like some money minded doc who can't wait to squeeze dry his patients. dr seah will jus ask you to do whatever is necessary to improve your current looks and i find him sincere and most impt i feel comfortable to let him do my nose.

btw currently i have L implant. if i wan to do alar + tipo (using my ear cartilage) must i remove my implant and change to gortex?
danny,

i saw this post after i reply ur PM. yah i agree u are blessed with good facial features just lacking on the nose. i think ur tip need to be sharp and strong prefably with high profile nose would suit u best. further more ur jaw and chin will be perfect with a high profile sharp tip nose. however, i still think it is best to top off ur L implant with tipoplasty to protect ur nose from extrusion in the future and to make ur tip sharper and less rounded.

Wenny,

I am not good in my words and yes as what DR Seah told Kaka, I like to copy it to u. Your face belong to the soft feminine look which usually is rounded thus a high and strong bridge plus a sharp look wont look good on you. if i am ur doctor, i would also refuse to do it for u even if u insist. You are good looking in your femine way if u like to work on enhancement, maybe a simple and affordable I implant to make you nose higher abit and sharper. Dont let the media affect ur defination of beautiful..

none.. if i ws to choose.. saw their works.. not impressive and i dun like snoobish sg doc
i had a friend who recommended me to a few docs, she is super PS addict and have many friends in media and TCS

and her recommendation was "go to vincent yeow for nose!"
and "harry fok for super dolly eyes!"

i went to see vincent yeow @ KK hosp but find him damn snobbish so i did not choose him for nose

now i kind of regret, maybe shld have listen to my friend

so not sure if i should do double eyelids with dr fok
i heard raves about double eyelids for dr wong too
so confusing to choose!

overseas doc will be good if only i have the money!
Actually, i dun think money is the issue if u wanna go taiwan... in fact it is much cheaper to do in taiwan than spore.. one good example for 3k which u pay to dr seah for a simple silicone implant, i could have bought a tix and plus hotel plus have a nose implant added with tipolplasty with ear grafting from the ear.

like what danny say, he need to pay extra 3-5k for alar and tiploplasty. which will make his course in total of 8k. for that amt, i can buy tix to taiwan stay 1 week there do a full korean nose job, which includes the expensive goretex, tipoplasty and alar with spare cash to go for a dimple or kai yantoh and shopping.. furthermore, i did all this in 1 time instaed of 2 times.. waste time waste money waste pain

for eyelid, i dun find any spore doc spectacular, if u wan to go for eyelid specialist, u should consider Dr Su of taiwan, she charges only 1.2 - 1.5k for korean style eyelid and she is a eyelid specialist. the best i find in taiwan so far..

with 8k budget, i would go to Dr Su for double eyelid follow by Dr Chuang for full korean nose and Ximending and shilin for 1 week holiday..

dun worry danny, u dun need to take or change the silicone implant out but u will need to have a tipo for ur nose tip. as for alar, i dun thing u need unless the doc thinks so..

tipolplasty is not really to lengthen the nose but for nose tip protection and nose tip defining.

infact, i think the sharp and efined look of silicone willbe for suitable for u than the more soft look which goretex yield.

in fact i did emailed Dr Su regarding my problem. i did double eyelids before many years ago and now its coming down (maybe due to fats and sagging), therefore i asked for her opinion if i can visit her in TW to redo my eyes and her reply was:

she actually suggested i should go back to my same doctor since my case is a re-do case

Oh i didnt know abt ur prev surgery. sori abt that..

yah, most of the doctor i met so far will ask me to bring my friend to redo for them. Dr su seem to be the minority one. not very confirm why she prefer you to go back to your doctor... she did this to other patients enquiries too when they ask abt revision.. However for her reply to u, she just suggest you to go back to your doc 1st before you decide to go to her clinic to let her do. not tell you to go to your prev doc only.

maybe the revision is cheaper if u go back to ur own doctor. revision with another doc is more expensive than the those going for their 1st surgery.

maybe u like to ask her again via email stating that u dun trust ur doc anymore and would like her to do it as u trust her more.. we see what is her reply k?

thanks

i never hear much raves abt vincet yeow so i am nt sure if he is gd or nt.... since u jus did ur nose surgery 1 wk ago u shd nt rush to do another surgery. u shd wait for at least 3 mths to see hte optimal shape b4 making ur next move to enhance ur nose... most plastic surgeon will haf advised u in this way

for eyes i heard dr wong has alot of raves

hi thanks for the compliments. dr seah also told me my weak feature is only the nose. esp the nose bridge and the rounded tip. now i have the nose bridge though its not very high nose bridge. as for the tip i did not do any tipo with dr seah. i only used L shaped implant thus the tip has changed only abit.

can i ask you, if i wan to do tipo surgery + alar in taiwan cos dr seah charges on tipo using ear cartilage is very ex, must i removed my L shaped implant and use gortex? and will the doc used open incision to do tipo surgery for me?

cos i wan to use my ear cartilage for nose tip which is similar to korean styled nose.

any doc you will recommend me for tipoplasty in taiwan or korea?

btw any pic of high profile nose? i nt sure wad is the high profile nose u refer to

i agree with tanji. i don't find any local doc good in double eyelid surgery. dr wong is not bad based on so many raves he had in flowerpod and also my friend did double eyelid with him and have good results.

as for nose surgery the reason i opt to choose dr seah is becos at that time i just want a simple silicone implant to make my nose bridge higherand tip abit sharp, and i think a local doc shd be ok in this simple kind of surgery plus i feel comfortable to choose dr seah as my doc. if i want complicated procedures like alar or tipo surgery i will choose taiwan or korea doc. since sg doc charges on tipo is so ex and their experience on tipo surgery is not alot.

so in future if i wan to do tipoplasty to enhance my nose tip and to protect my L shaped implatn i will choose taiwan or korea doc, most prob taiwan doc since its affordable.

so in conclusion, if u wan simple I or L shaped implant surgery u can try local doc like dr seah etc. if u wan complicated surgery go overseas...

btw tanji i did not go for tipoplasty and alar with dr seah. i only went for simple L implant with dr seah. becos i find his tipoplasty and alar charges is too ex. imagine paying nearly 8k for L implant, alar and tipoplasty i will choose taiwan or korea instead.

danny,

actually if i am your doctor, i would recoommend higher nose like those of F4 or idols. ur lips sre so sexy to be wasted..lolz

thus for u there is two options. retain ur current bridge and implant and work on the tip only thus cheaper cost.

2nd forgo that 3k u paid with dr seah and go for a new nose either with new silicone L implant or goretex to make ur nose higher. ur tipoplasty will be needed for both options thus the cost is unadvoidable. as for alar, i dun think u really need that. nevertheless u can ask the taiwan doctors for advices and suggestions.

afterall it will depend on ur current needs and monetary situations.

if u ask me to choose and monetary is not a problem, i suggest after july next year, u go to taiwan have a full nose job via korean style nose to redo ur nose with higher bridge and sharper tip. u let the doc choose for u either Silicone or Goretex.. total cost for a full nose job u want plus accomodation and tix will be around 6-8k (more comfortable range)..

For Koreans style nose, alar & Tipoplasty is just each of the 5 procedures and not seperate..

for tipoplasty via ear bone it cost around twd15000-20000
for alar it cost around twd 10000 - 20000

but i find the bridge not high at all lor, so disappointing, not much difference, but i think i cant expect much, my face not the eurasian kind, maybe can't suit high bridge

to tanjhj: thanks for the explaination!! i guess i'll just have to wait few more weeks to see the end result.. if in future i want to redo (say maybe in tw) will it be more expensive? since i already have 1 implant in my nose??

hi kaka i also did my nose with dr seah. i did L implant only and nw my nose looks high and sharp and i like it alot

i guess you have to wait til 3mths to judge on ur nose results and dr seah skills. cos my nose also look swelled and big in first few wks. after the swelling goes down my nose looks defined and small and sharp. no point rushing to find other doc or rush for another surgery.
im so glad ur nose is high.. dr seah didnt give me too high a bridge
he commented my features is soft, petite and feminine and i dont suit too strong bridge
so mine was just like an "enhancement"
i was hoping to get a higher bridge though

are you a guy or girl? if u r guy, having feminine features is cool.. it means you got those jappy pretty boy looks... i guess dr seah didn't wan to do too high or sharp nose for you cos it may not suit your femine features. you have to trust his professional ideas

as for me i got mixture of feminine and musculine features. my eyes and lips look feminine. but my face shape, high brow bone belongs to musculine features, therefore dr seah say i need high nose bridge and sharp tip. in fact all the sg doc i been to say my nose is the weak feature and it will be best if i had high nose bridge.

thanks tanji for the sexy lip compliments haha... i will wish to have similar nose like F4 jerry and zai zai. their noses are gorgeous. but if i want to achieve similar nose as them possible meh? cos i thought it depends on original features... actually my ideal nose is andy lau nose haha

hmmmm i plan to save up money to go taiwan prob end of next yr to do tipoplasty via ear bone and alar only. if the taiwan doc suggest me to take out my L shaped implant and change to I silicone or gortex i will agree as i trust them.

btw if i wan to do my whole nose again need 7-8k so much for just korean styled nose? quite ex sia like that i might as well do just tipoplasty.

for korean styled nose what are the 5 procedures?is it 1) gortex for nose bridge 2) ear cartilage for nose tip 3) alar ?

which doc u recommend in taiwan for korean nose?
