any recommendation for double eyelids for local doc?
what u think of dr fok, dr seah or dr wong??
overseas doc will be good if only i have the money!

he did comment that my bridge is weak and my eyes can cut.. medium parallel is ok to him.. next he also told me to consider face lift..
i see... one thing i like abt dr seah is he is very honest in his comments. he is not like some money minded doc who can't wait to squeeze dry his patients. dr seah will jus ask you to do whatever is necessary to improve your current looks and i find him sincere and most impt i feel comfortable to let him do my nose.
btw sorry i think i din reply you in my pm? cos i am having my exams which ended recently...
for me dr seah say i got very strong face shape cos i got high brow bone and strong chiselled jaws so its better for me to have high nose bridge and abit sharp tip.. in fact i only did simple implant surgery.... i planning to do alar plus tipo-plasty to lengthen my nose in future but dr seah charges on tipo-plasty is much ex than simple implant... if i am nt wrong his alar + tipo is gonna be 4kplus to 5k... so i plan to do tipo-plasty + alar only in taiwan ba.... my nose bridge i like it and dun wan to change it
btw currently i have L implant. if i wan to do alar + tipo (using my ear cartilage) must i remove my implant and change to gortex?

Actually, i dun think money is the issue if u wanna go taiwan... in fact it is much cheaper to do in taiwan than spore.. one good example for 3k which u pay to dr seah for a simple silicone implant, i could have bought a tix and plus hotel plus have a nose implant added with tipolplasty with ear grafting from the ear.kaka wrote:i had a friend who recommended me to a few docs, she is super PS addict and have many friends in media and TCStanjhj wrote:none.. if i ws to choose.. saw their works.. not impressive and i dun like snoobish sg dockaka wrote:by the way

and her recommendation was "go to vincent yeow for nose!"
and "harry fok for super dolly eyes!"
i went to see vincent yeow @ KK hosp but find him damn snobbish so i did not choose him for nose
now i kind of regret, maybe shld have listen to my friend
so not sure if i should do double eyelids with dr fok
i heard raves about double eyelids for dr wong too
so confusing to choose!

dun worry danny, u dun need to take or change the silicone implant out but u will need to have a tipo for ur nose tip. as for alar, i dun thing u need unless the doc thinks so..iamdanny wrote:tanjhj wrote:agree no doc is best but u can increase the chances of getting nicer nose and lesser risk by getting a good and well practised doc.

in fact i did emailed Dr Su regarding my problem. i did double eyelids before many years ago and now its coming down (maybe due to fats and sagging), therefore i asked for her opinion if i can visit her in TW to redo my eyes and her reply was:tanjhj wrote:Actually, i dun think money is the issue if u wanna go taiwan... in fact it is much cheaper to do in taiwan than spore.. one good example for 3k which u pay to dr seah for a simple silicone implant, i could have bought a tix and plus hotel plus have a nose implant added with tipolplasty with ear grafting from the ear.kaka wrote:i had a friend who recommended me to a few docs, she is super PS addict and have many friends in media and TCStanjhj wrote: none.. if i ws to choose.. saw their works.. not impressive and i dun like snoobish sg doc

like what danny say, he need to pay extra 3-5k for alar and tiploplasty. which will make his course in total of 8k. for that amt, i can buy tix to taiwan stay 1 week there do a full korean nose job, which includes the expensive goretex, tipoplasty and alar with spare cash to go for a dimple or kai yantoh and shopping.. furthermore, i did all this in 1 time instaed of 2 times.. waste time waste money waste pain
for eyelid, i dun find any spore doc spectacular, if u wan to go for eyelid specialist, u should consider Dr Su of taiwan, she charges only 1.2 - 1.5k for korean style eyelid and she is a eyelid specialist. the best i find in taiwan so far..
with 8k budget, i would go to Dr Su for double eyelid follow by Dr Chuang for full korean nose and Ximending and shilin for 1 week holiday..

i saw this post after i reply ur PM. yah i agree u are blessed with good facial features just lacking on the nose. i think ur tip need to be sharp and strong prefably with high profile nose would suit u best. further more ur jaw and chin will be perfect with a high profile sharp tip nose. however, i still think it is best to top off ur L implant with tipoplasty to protect ur nose from extrusion in the future and to make ur tip sharper and less rounded.

but today i wake up it looks slightly (very slightly) better.
but i find the bridge not high at all lor, so disappointing, not much difference, but i think i cant expect much, my face not the eurasian kind, maybe can't suit high bridge
to tanjhj: thanks for the explaination!! i guess i'll just have to wait few more weeks to see the end result.. if in future i want to redo (say maybe in tw) will it be more expensive? since i already have 1 implant in my nose??
hi kaka i also did my nose with dr seah. i did L implant only and nw my nose looks high and sharp and i like it alot
i guess you have to wait til 3mths to judge on ur nose results and dr seah skills. cos my nose also look swelled and big in first few wks. after the swelling goes down my nose looks defined and small and sharp. no point rushing to find other doc or rush for another surgery.
he commented my features is soft, petite and feminine and i dont suit too strong bridge
so mine was just like an "enhancement"
i was hoping to get a higher bridge though
tanjhj wrote:danny,
actually if i am your doctor, i would recoommend higher nose like those of F4 or idols. ur lips sre so sexy to be wasted..lolz
thus for u there is two options. retain ur current bridge and implant and work on the tip only thus cheaper cost.
2nd forgo that 3k u paid with dr seah and go for a new nose either with new silicone L implant or goretex to make ur nose higher. ur tipoplasty will be needed for both options thus the cost is unadvoidable. as for alar, i dun think u really need that. nevertheless u can ask the taiwan doctors for advices and suggestions.
afterall it will depend on ur current needs and monetary situations.
if u ask me to choose and monetary is not a problem, i suggest after july next year, u go to taiwan have a full nose job via korean style nose to redo ur nose with higher bridge and sharper tip. u let the doc choose for u either Silicone or Goretex.. total cost for a full nose job u want plus accomodation and tix will be around 6-8k (more comfortable range)..
For Koreans style nose, alar & Tipoplasty is just each of the 5 procedures and not seperate..
for tipoplasty via ear bone it cost around twd15000-20000
for alar it cost around twd 10000 - 20000

tipolplasty is not really to lengthen the nose but for nose tip protection and nose tip defining.
infact, i think the sharp and efined look of silicone willbe for suitable for u than the more soft look which goretex yield.
Danny What if u been accidently punch by a person ? will ur nose drop ?iamdanny wrote:tanjhj wrote:dun worry danny, u dun need to take or change the silicone implant out but u will need to have a tipo for ur nose tip. as for alar, i dun thing u need unless the doc thinks so..iamdanny wrote:

hmmm how to know if silicone or gortex suits a person's face? if a person face is sharp and strong then a sharp nose suit them?
