Kola told me tat i will be operate inside the nostril.
After inserting the implant into the nose the doctor will ask you to see mirror whether you like the shape or height,if not then he will remove the implant & do cutting or reshaping until it fits.

Kola encourages patients using L shape korea gortex.it is divided into 2/3 parts- soft at the tip & abit harder at the bridge for more defined shape, and its also lighter compared to US & Germany.
Most important after PS,the nose will look high & very natural.
I'm also considering US gortex for very sharp nose but it is not soft at the tip & abit heavier.

ecoli,
I was told no blood/abit when the doctor ask patients to c their implant before stitching.
Very tempted rite? me 2 thinking of nose ps very day, cant wait to get it done.
Yen,

it is like what i expected that dun sound like authentic korean nose suregry to me.. just a normal nose surgery but uses Goretex instead.. furthermore.. they dun do tipoplasty using the ear grafting. w/o tipolplasty, the goretex may not last and the nose tip is not really rectified.. if only like that, for sgd2k+, it is quite expensive.. however if u like it. i wont stop you..as i know ur limitation on travelling, also since it is hard to find goretex now in spore.

however i heard there is this doc in Spore that uses goretex and does korean style. i posted his address and contact a few pages back.. prof lim at plastic & hand surgery..

as for me, yen, coz i doesnt have much commitment, thus i dun mind paying sgd 1k more for a real and full procedures korean nose at taiwan.

my suggeston is to cool it 1st. dun hurry go PS. take time to see since i predict more doctors will do korean style.. also BKclinic - dr kim is coming to spore to open his branch here. soon we can have korean style nose soon.

tipo plasty can only use ear cartilage? or can use other materials?

I understand lasik requires each eye to be done afew weeks apart and follow-ups a month later. Singapore National Eye Centre's relatively cheap and safe; but are there any other places, say in Johore, that's cheaper and equally or even more reliable?

As to doing lasik, veneers and cosmetic surgery on my face, which is the safest order that I should be doing these operations?
i just had my teeth done at pacfic healthcare group at wisma.. i think 11th floor..
and i only clean la.. and i asked abt teeth whitening also.. doc says not necessary for me.. however, if i really want perfect smile like in 'extreme makeover' .. then it is the front 6 tooth..
not just 1 or 2 as u think..
they will take off 2 mm of the surface.. n fix on the right shape for u.. and it is v costly... but it will be v uniform and u will have a cameron diaz 1000megawatt smile.

duno what it is called.. but sounds expensive to me.. and i think u should know it is the front 6 teeth okie

hi all wan to ask those who did nose surgery is it a painful procedure?
i have been reading alot of the posts in this forum n have been inspired to do nose surgery

i have booked a surgery appointment with a local doc after christmas for my nose surgery. as i haf limitations i can't travel overseas for surgery so no choice gt to choose a local doc.

the doc suggested closed incision on both nostrils so that the implant will be aligned properly in the middle. will incision on both nostrils cause more pain than normal nose surgery?

no i try not to cry.

Clarify things with pp here.. cos i received a pm .. asking me abt past ps i did and for a pic..

i have never done ps before..
but rumors say that i have eye job, nose job, chin job..

truth is only braces last time..
eyes is put sticker.. but have inner double eyelid (so low u cant see it if i cringe or i smile)
nose.. if i fell down 4 times.. or maybe i got it fr my mum's side.. i have a bump on the tip.. looks like eng kor pi.. but without the nice tip.. haha.. i dun have a hooked tip..

doc did suggest that i look like i have a flatten nose tip .. so u see.. if i do a nose job.. it can be enhanced.. but it is still up to the discussion with doc.. he must see in person

eye enlargement is v good.. =) big eyes can scare pp also

wenny,

actually u dun really need any PS and another forumer actually agree with me on it.. however i still can help u in the sense of sharing info.

for tipoplasty, there is lot of material. u can use man-made or ur own tissue. alloderm is one of the material but it dun last. next u can use fillers
or u can go for operation to stitch up ur alar bone.. however the best method currently is still the ear grafting. as they dun get reabsorbed as much as other..

however do consider this..

use yr ntuc member card or your paretns..
it is only 2.8k
pay by installment.. so each time u go and tighten then u pay one..

cheapest by far and best as well..

nope i didnt share with anyone. i thought u send to that pserson coz that person told me u look good.. i agree (edited: Oh mistakes on my side-sori)

wenny, often mistakes are made in PS by the patient who thinks their features is not nice and wanna change it. u cant conclude it from ur view alone but need to see from a 3rd party view. the whole face must blend with the looks. high nose and sharp tips doesnt look good on everyone, sometimes a slightly imperfect nose will boost the whole face looks. .. must consider the whole face rather than just one or two features or end up like Dawn yeo's MJ nose. Her perfect nose ruin her face, now she looks like bane

next what u think is nice may be ugly to others and what u think as ugly is consider as nice to others. u need to do a paradigm shift thinking before finalising what u should do. so far both me and that person u send the pic to, thinks u are pretty enough. u just need to work on your hair and dressing.. u may like to consider a more matured dressing style. and what jovin said: u need to learn to have confident on ur looks and love what u have 1st.. unless ppl came and tell u that u need to change something than u might consider..

i think when u go work on ur nose, L implant may be sharp for ur round faec and it may not going to fit into ur current face frame and will look quite fake coz ur face is not long nor sharp but more curvy. are u going to change the face shape and chin to fit the nose? it is pretty lot to do for just 1 nose.. If die die must do, i would suggest natural looking I implant to work on ur bridge to lengthen ur nose and make it less wide.

what looks good on kanny etc may not suit u. u must consider that kanny look good with nose surgery becoz she doesnt have a nice nose like urs for a start. and her face sharp is naturally sharp thus the sharp nose suit her better as it fills her weak nose.. this is what i call Improving PS by looking for weak points that need changes rather than change what u dun really need.

hope u understand my concern for u.. lastly, u may like to send ur photo to ddr sukit (kanny's doc) for his professional opinion. cheers

Golden Rules of PS:
1)If it aint broken, dun fix it / dun fix what u dun need
2)Perfect individual features usually dun yield perfect face
3)Work on your confidence 1st
