I keep thinking i booked Dr Su because i enquired on both wishclinic and Dr Su regarding concerns and Dr Chuang has been replying me.
Anyway i woke up startled this morning, realising that the doctor has been signing off as "Dr. Chuang" instead of "Dr Su"
So i went to my email and re-read 4 of the emails.. and realised it's wishclinic i made appointment for.

My appointment is 27 Dec 2006.. Dr Chuang at wish clinic or Dr Su, i will be fine because i am sure they can give me what i want.
I was looking at Dr Chang's website (the doc with a lot of before after pics of successful patients) and i think he is really good with his works!

Did someone mention that he is only good with permanent style? because i think he's really good after looking at all the pretty eyes..

Deaer XXX,

Your eyes look bigger enough! If you still like to receive upper eyelid surgery, I would suggest you to get the Korean mini-incision method. THis procedure is also permanent like traditional method, but the recovery peroid is quite shorter. If you insist to have the traditional surgery, you should spare at least 2 weeks for the recovery. In my opinion, it's not necessary to leave a long surgical scar over your eyelid while you're young. However, I will advise you to take the best method when you visit me.

Your consultation has been confirmed. Please come to my clinic at 9:30AM on 27th Deb. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Please keep in touch.

Chuang

Dear Doctor Chuang,

Please refer to attachment for my picture.
When I smile, my double eyelid cannot be seen.
I would like a double eye lid that makes my eyes bigger.

Do I need the permanent type of surgery or can I manage with the Korean incision method?
I would like Kai yan tou Or Kai yan wei surgery. I want a much bigger pair of eyes.

For permanent type of surgery, how long is the recovery because I do not want to go back to work looking like I just had a surgery.
Please make appointment for me for consultation and surgery on 27 December morning. I will reach Taiwan on 26 December evening.

Thanks doctor!

Dear XXX,

This is Dr. Chuang replying your e-mail letter. Most of my foreign clients will choose this hotel:
http://www.city-hotel.com.tw/bussiness/b4/b4-tw.htm
This is the nearset hotel around our clinic. You can reach us in 10 mins from hotel by walking.

Our consultation fee is NT300. Please confirm your appointment 2 weeks before you leaving.

See you!

Chuang

How cool is that? A doctor that writes good english!
and on my first enquiry on the website i had to write really really simple english for fear they do not understand my needs!

i am really glad i am going to Dr Chuang because my chinese is not that good and i feel comforted knowing that he is smart enough to be bilingual as well..

making arrangments for hotel and domestic tour soon..
winter duno where to tour also..
i have been to taiwan so many times basically for shopping
but for touring haha.. no idea..
hopefully i can still go for hot spring =) will that be bad for my recovery?

i am getting sinnech right? how much is it?

Hey yen,

if u are not keen in gg overseas for a nose job, i recommend a doctor at wheelock place, 4th floor.
A fren of mine is into beauty and she recently brought her good fren for a nose job at wheelock, 4 days before the friend's wedding.
She called me 30 mins after the surgery, all excited saying that it's a very good job done and that she has been recommending frens there.
I enquired abt getting my eyes done there but she told me no and she will find out more for me cos that place good for nose only.
i'll email her to get more details..

But anyway, for a low crease double eyelid, i will suggest that you go for a new job done, basically the korean mini incision method for faster recovery, move the crease higher. Only if the nose job doesnt do the trick for u.

If u do the pinch the nose for a bridge method now as suggested above, u will see the double eye lid more defined.

wah daring of u. i appaud ur courage. Quest of beauty knew no fear. :D

i based it on the the weak bridge u have and the distance between your eyes which i find is too far apart according to the Perfect Face Ratio.
u will need nose tip reduction and alarplasty. with i implant should be enough.

i recommended nose job to reduce the distance and make ur eyes bigger. yes, even after u did ur eyelid, but becoz u did it via stitching, thus the ur only added double eyelid but did not really enlarge it to the ideal size as according to ur face size and shape.

Thus, either u can go for face reduction via chin and cheek shaving or u can enlarge ur eyes and do a nose job. of coz the best is all of it.

my recommendation:
i)if budget is constraint, do the nose 1st (sgd 900 - 2300)
ii)if not u can go to Dr Sukit at Yanhee for both eyelid cutting and nose. (est sgd1.8k for both, sgd900 only for either one) raise to abv average "BU" staus
iii)do both at taiwan - korean style (est sgd 5000) raise to chiou bu status
iv)one time bleed and do all at taiwan - korean style (est sgd10k) and raise urself to Dawn yeo or Kanny status aka the elite CHIOU BUs.. :P

i know u wont do 3 and 4 coz i know ur risk limit.. but still state it for ur reference.
Golden Rules of PS:
1)If it aint broken, dun fix it / dun fix what u dun need
2)Perfect individual features usually dun yield perfect face

Hi DMC,

did u let the doc see ur eyes w/o the tape? it seem to me what he see is with the tape.. i suggest u see medium crease and parallel crease when the doc use the stick to show u. it seem u can carry parallel medium crease well.

Dr chuang can do all 4 styles of eyelid. Korea mini incision, korean style ultra mini. std and stitching.. i think he can spk good japanese too.

for that deja vu hotel nearby, the price is pretty alrite at ard sgd 90 per nite and the room look damn clean, nice, cosy and comfy and got spa, sauna and jacuzzi! But remember to join as memeber before booking for further discount..
i like their european style concept too..
as for hot spring. i know it helps in healing but u got to ask Dr Chuang. btw he quite handsome and dote on his wifey alot.

good luck on ur quest to rank of Elite Chiou Bu

Deja Vu Hotel
Fuxing Rd, Sec 1

"This place puts the 'ooh' back in ooh la la!"

REVIEW The bigger rooms (around 2500.00) in this intimate, somewhat kitschy love hotel not only have a Jacuzzi in the bathroom but a two-person wood sauna, as well. They've also got vibrating beds and massage chairs, but don't worry, the atmosphere here is very middle-class. It wouldn't make your granny blush.

Love hotels have been making a splash lately as a great alternative to bland mid-range hotels. This is not the most stylish one we've seen but it's easily the best in this price range. Interior furnishings can be a touch frilly (they call it Baroque), but they don't go overboard. All rooms are worth the price but there is a fair variety in design and amenities so look around before you choose. Some have rounded beds, some square (they all vibrate). Some face busy Fuxing Rd, some a quiet park. But only two have saunas and you'd better book ahead if you want one of these in your room. Our only complaint is that, while the hotel is in general spotless and well maintained, a few sheets had cigarette holes in them.

just realise that those cheap hotels i used last time are love hotels...
