Don't want to name names but just to let u know, my doctor'c clinic is located in Mt E.
I will rather go Thailand than Malaysia and my frd had an eye and nose job there and it's great.
If cost and language is not a problem, I will definately recommend Korea as the place for plastic surgery.
I seriously regret not having it done there...I will definately not have any plastic surgery done in Singapore ever again!!!
hi yewon

I went on a holiday with Gorgeous Getaways in Malaysia, they were unreal, so friendly and organised, they just did everything. I really chose them because that had a great amount of treatments and diet and fitness programs, and the accommodation at the Shangri-la was great.
hih
which part of malaysia was that? can i have the contact ? do they have all the plastic surgery service?? hope you can share
Gorgeous Getaways are in KL. They are just the operator, organising the whole surgery/hospital/holiday. Originally I was going to go myself to Dr Wong in KL, but he was just so incredibly rude! as anyone else been to him?
So then I got a little scared and decided to go with GG, it's the best thing I have done, as it was just good to have support and a friend there. I was really sick from the GA, it was probably the worst part of the operation, so it was good to have everything taken care of.

here i am again. i overlooked the 'dr.khoo' part of your message. u mean andrew khoo right? don't go to him for upper eyelid surgery.
if u can, i suggest u go seek other surgeons' advice. dr. wong at gleneagles, who's price is reasonable.
dr. martin huang at paragon.
dr. woffles wu...i guess seeking for his advice doesn't hurt.

Please do not impugn the name of others even by insinuation or you may have yourself in hot soup before you know it. Singapore is a small place. Just a piece of freindly advice

Then how on earth am I going to warn kaki? PM doesn't work. I wonder if you are aware of that?
Insinuation? I'm telling the truth here, lawyer.
What do you know? Have you undergone "corrective" surgery before? Do you know how important it is to warn others should you feel the need to?
I know I'm taking the risk but talking about 'impugn' the name of others? Common, you think I would go this far just to 'impugn' somebody's name?
I feel obliged to entertain kaki's post because she needs to know something. Would you prefer her eyes or whatever to be messed up? Huh? Would you feel good if this happens to her?
If you are so noble, you would try to understand this. Get it?

Telling the truth?
As Pontius Pilate asks 'What is the truth?'
No quarrel with your providing advice to others
But cautionary notes should not extend to specific finger pointing unless the guy is here to defend and speak for himself
For all we know you could be out to just 'get even' with him for reasons unknown to us that have nothing whatsoever to do with his professional work
So don't act as judge and jury here unless you are prepared to identify yourself. That my fren will then be a totally different story :!:

Hi all, I certainly don't recommend plastic surgery to anyone unless they need it to do for some health reason. If you are a lazy person, the aftercare is going to irrate you, esp for breast implants. you have to be extra careful the first few weeks after the surgery.
Try to compromise with your own natural looks. If you keep feeling unhappy with our looks, you might never be happy even after the plastic surgery cos you want to even be more beatiful. Yes, there may be some ugly parts of us, but we are sure to have some beatiful parts to compliment the ugly ones. Heaven is not so unfair.
Some don't even need plastic surgery, for example, you can get a nice flat tummy if you work out the proper way, although it have to take quite a long time to see the result.. It's no use going for tummy tug when after that you just resume your usual lifestyle which leads you to have a big tummy in the first place.
Even after certain surgerys, one must prepare to change their lifestyle in order to maintain.

Hi, I had prior primary rhinoplasty performed by Dr Woffles Wu. I was unaware of the stature he enjoyed until post-surgery, where a deluge of plastic surgery articles in the mass media featured comments by him. I was teetering on the edge of adulthood then (being 18), was lacking in emotional maturity, and suffered from a severe lack of self-esteem. I reckon because of my young age, and although he was not condescending, I felt intimidated by the consultation. I had educated myself extensively on rhinoplasty (nose jobs) from authoritative online sources and books before the consultation and was surprised to note that the pre-operative interview was lacking in detail. It was a very brief interview, and my options were only hastily discussed. Although I felt the severity ofthe procedure necessiated more thorough discussion, because of my age and how i felt dwarfed in his presence, I did not voice my objections. The surgery itself went without glitches, but Dr Woffles Wu deferred on the agreed plan by suggesting that it might be more aesthetically pleasing if I also had a silicone L-shaped implant in addition to having some cartilage removed to give the nose height. As I was under local anesthetic, I did agree to the suggestion while being in full-posession of my faculties. Post-operation, I suffered extremely bad brusing (it differs from one individual to another), but was offered little emotional support from either the staff or the doctor. I did not remember getting any reassurance. Aesthetically, my nose has gained considerable height but has retained its broadness, but I am in no way insinuating this to be at the fault of the surgeon. I understand that asians scar badly, and much of the residual cartilage could have been scar tissue. This is my personal experience, and having not talked to/consulted other surgeons, I am unable to arrive at an opinion on how he compares to other surgeons.
