Hi,
Have any of you guys ever heard of this clinic?

http://ulsan.seoulps.co.kr/beautyinfo/p ... goryID=C01

I found this website and check it out. Even though I don't know Korean I think that the nose looks really natural and nicer. I have already emailed this clinic, but they haven't replied to me yet.
I also intend to go to Dr. Jung in Korea, but someone told me that her friend had a nose job with doctor Jung. She is very satisfied about her nose tip, but she is not happy with the bridge. It is too wide for her and a bit curve. She is going to USA to do revision in Jan.
I'm kinda hesistated...

if u want comfy rooms, quiet environment and near mrt, plus cheap http://asiatravel.com/thailand/watanamansion/
got airport pickup and delivery. safer and save u the hassle for just sgd $100 for 3 nites! all u need to do is go to bkk, take ride to hotel, drop luggage, take cab to hospital, take cab back to hotel, rest few nites, take ride back to airport to sg...
if u need extra nites, just extend direct at the hotel for 450-500bahts per nite... full facilities, free 30 mins internet per day to update us of ur recovery, need i say more... it is my overall favourite hotel in bkk so far

if u want higher class, clean room, more central location and more executive like will be

http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/bangk ... umvit.html and http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/bangk ... attan.html

if u want to go shopping for cheap clothes and good room, good buffet bkfast, it will be
http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/bangk ... e_sky.html

these hotels have their own good point and i have stayed there b4 with recoomendation from forumers and friends. of coz i have stayed at othe rhotels but i would recommend u these 4 becoz of price

http://www.asiatravel.com/thailand/whit ... index.html
this one is near chinatown, so u can try the shark fina n birdnest
Hello... WATANA MANSION isit really nice n cheap? Anyway can i book this at asiarooms.com? If not this asiatravel website isit reliable? Thanks :D
both website i use before. no problems so far. asiatravel is a public listed co. in singapore.

watana was cheap and good. imagine 4d3n with airport pickup and delivery plus full facilities for less than a $100. for extension nites, i suggest u get them from the reception direct as u can get them cheaper at 500 or 450 bahts. locAtion not the best but next o MRT so can go anywhere u want in BKK. else take taxi (only).

next one i recommend woraburi, quite new so room is cleaner. but more expensive abit.
I cannot get watana mansion at asiarooms.com ley... maybe not listed there.... So the room isit clean? i told my bf abt it.. he say sounds too good to be true.. haha.. coz too cheap le... u went b4 rite... can tell me ur experience? Thanks so much.. i tink its really a damn good deal..... its a 2 star hotel? or? :D

wah lan i feel like spoonfeeding till must clean the mouth too...

if u read my previous threads properly, watana mansion is thru the asiatravel, the rest is thru asiarooms. even if do a google for watana mansion, it would have get you tons of booking websites and reviews. what 2 stars? have u heard of a 2 stars with full facilities and a MiniMart?

http://wikitravel.org/en/Bangkok/Ratchadaphisek

if u have do a simple search, watana is a service apt. not a full hotels. and watana have all you need in a hotel.

if ur bf find it too good to be true than dun go loh. go to those you are comfortable with.

if u guys have notice this :

Watana Mansion
Special 4 Days / 3 Nights Package
Valid from Now until further notice
Single/Double Bht 2,400 nett

Package inclusive of :

3 nights accommodation

Daily American Breakfast

Airport pickup and delivery

30 mins internet / each day

if it cost just 550 baht ($23) per nite for single, 3 nites would be just 1650 baht, which would have been cheaper if booked every nite. Double is at 650 bahts per nite. however the extra 500-800 bahts goes to the Airport pickup. which i think would save u the hassle of getting a taxi and risk getting conned or cheated.

in fact for me, i would reserved directly by calling the hotels telephone or just walk in and pay by cash. however, i dun think i want you all to risk having any screwed up thus i suggested the website booking.

Hint/tips: Those who intend to go back to bkk next time, better get the hotel biz card so you can call them directly and bargain for better rates. i usually pay 450bahts per nite for >5days/weekly booking.

actually the doctor did a excellent job and ur double eyelid is so natural looking. However, i think what u really want is a bigger and rounder eyes like those korean actress or Ayumi hamasaki, rather than a higher crease coz i believe u think ur current eyes is not big enough for ur current face, Taiwan calls this eyes enlargement procedure as Da Yan Shou Shu (BIG EYES surgery) not the simple double eyelid surgery. However, this surgery is not very common in singapore thus i doubt the quality and the skills of the doctor for this surgery. i recommend Korea or Japan and China (Beijing angel) as this surgery and revision is like drinking coffee to them.
sample pic of da yan shou shu (abit overdo lah) from other forumers.
http://images.asianfanatics.net/gallery ... ungsia.jpg

from the picture u posted, i can see that your upper face have weak and soft feature thus i believe the PS doctor would recommend a higher bridge for you to balance up and enhance the face.

however do note that local revision job sucess rate is lower and i doubt the skills of local doctor on revision and repair. also it may result in eyes worst than ur current eyes.

for asian, the natural look will be lower crease. in fact the current favourite trend is to have the crease like your. parallel or higher crease are usually for the ang moh and unnatural.

my humble suggestion is be happy with ur current one. it looks really good and natural to me.

double eyelid surgery

Post by pinkhoodie » Sat, 28 Oct 2006 11:33 pm

Hi..im new to this forum because so pardon me if i repeated anything that has been said before in the past.
Anyway i just had double eyelid surgery in June and everyone commented i look so much better now and the effect is very natural. I did my surgery at tan tock seng institute of plastic surgery and my doctor was Dr Feng. The method of incision was laser and the total cost including consultation was $2038 if i remember clearly.
I think he did a good job except that when i close my eyes, there is an obvious small dent in my right eye where the stitch is.
I went back for reconsultation and i went in for barely 1 min, he looked at my eye and said it was fine and sent me away. Probably because he was really busy but omg..the nurse actually had the cheek to nearly charge me consultation fee of $80 for that 1 min.
Overall, Dr Feng is still quite a good doctor and i do recommend him to anyone who wanna do double eyelid surgery. Unless you dun mind the arrogant nurses who work for him who talk to you as if you're the dumbest person in the world, i give him thumbs up.

tis is totally uncalled 4. it is nt a bad choice 2 stay in, full facilities and a minimart sounds like a residential apartment.

that i am not very sure coz there is no video or actual ppl who spoke/ wrote abt this procedure as not much local has done it. even the USA official PS website dun write abt it. that spk volume abt the quality of skills and exp the doc is going to have here. thats why i suggested oversea, korea should be good with a very matured PS industry or BEijing (one is Evercare clinic), Japan is the best but very expensive.

another way of calling it is 開眼頭 and below is a chinese forum discussion of the surgery. see the side effects of this suregery but the result is very nice, big and round eyes like bambi eyes
http://bbs.sappho.com.tw/viewtopic.php?t=102

however due to what i read, da yan shou shu includes Epicanthoplasty on top of double eyelid surgery. and this surgery is more complex and specialist trained doctor is required rather than normal PS.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epicanthoplasty

Maybe jovin can ask if here doc in taiwan do Da Yan Shou Shu?

very unfair to iamdanny leh. he got his right not to show his face mah. actually it is very kind of him to share back his experience in this forum to other ppl. i applaud his courage and effort so far.

actually if his doc is no good, which doc in sg can be better? his doc, dr seah, is the President of the Plastic surgeon society.. and if u have read the forum carefully, he is not the 1st patient under dr seah to post here. other also did it and is suceessful thus i can say dr seah is better and price is lower than other less qualified but more "Marketed" PS.

TO help in reducing swelling

Post by tanjhj » Sun, 29 Oct 2006 3:39 pm

Good news guys, i just found something from other forum of a tip to reduce swelling. the average taiwanese took 1 week to reduce swelling. i guess it may be due to their weather and also te food they eat.

it is a kind of tea u can get from chinese medical shop. as follow:

耐心冰敷 (be Patient in applying cold pack)
還有喝蜈蚣草喔 (and drink "what" tea)
可以幫助消腫 (can help in reducing swelling )
去中藥行買就可以 (can buy at chinese medical shop)

also they said almond drink (buy almond powder) and black bean drink is also good for reducing swelling
