it seems that more or less i;m deciding on yanhee .

it's probably a matter of who I will be able to get to agree to work on me.

I also will want to do eyelid and cheek lipo at the same time. figured since i will look like pig head i might as well do it all together. save me the hassle of being pig head twice or thrice. Hee

maybe some suggestion could be given to me on where i can stay and if there are any available help if i need since i am travelling alone. appreciate everything heaps!

PS!!! ANYONE INTERESTED TO GO WITH ME??? I am scared also..but must be brave. any companion will be good!
When r u going? :D

hi tanjhj
thanks for e pm, but sorry that i don ve any photo to show u. all i can tell u are. . e 'L' shape meaning it not only make ur nose bridge higher it also touch on ur tip as well to make it look sharper.
'I' only forcus on the nose bridge to make it higher.. that it.. It just that simple!
if u think ur nose tip round and fat, guess 'L' will be more suitable for u.. if just normal and no need to touch on.. go for 'I' den..

surgery next week

Post by big-eyes-maymay » Wed, 25 Oct 2006 10:10 pm

Hi ppl,

I have booked Dr Sukit for eye surgery next two days.

Before I go ahead with this, anybody have any last advice? So far I read in the forum that Dr Sukit is good with nose, not eyes.

tx!

Been lurking this thread for the past month and decided to start posting coz of the sizable community here. I've been considering cosmetic surgery locally to have a more chiseled face (am a guy here btw). Am looking at possibly buccal fat removal / facial liposuction / rhinoplasty. Don't want to do botox or any other surgeries that have a temporary effect. Am having a mid-range budget - not looking at really expensive docs like Dr Martin Huang or Dr Woffles Wu; would not feel comfortable doing it overseas as well. Any recommendations? Any personal experiences to share? Any other surgical procedures for facial contouring? Please do PM me if you wish to keep it private.

wad's a chiseled face? u mean face with strong features? guys usually better to haf strong face strong jaws... whereas gals usually better to haf soft features from wad dr seah told me.... ur current features ok? hmmm wad u wan to do?

for me i did my nose... nw i tinking to do lipo, braces, n prob jaw surgery to make my face small
chiseled face is those like leo ku, any lau and sorimachi. the cheek is sunken with well defined jaw bone

Yeah I'm hoping to not having such a chubby face, especially when I smile. Any doctors to recommend?

It seems that most here are geared towards heading to Bangkok for surgery. Kinda tempting since it's so cheap; but I still find it safer to do it locally, even more so that it's easier to do follow-ups here.

I mean are Bangkok doctors more experienced than the local ones? All I know is that Bkk docs operate more on females; and if it's males, it's usually sex-change operations. Not exactly the surgery I'm looking at heh.

iamdanny: How's your nose coming along? Actually I have sinus problem, don't know whether after rhino it'll heal; or if not, will my nose-shape be affected if I sneeze often? Also, if you are looking at braces, why not do veneers + bleaching? It costs about S$500 per tooth, and you wouldn't need to do for all your teeth, only the front rows.

going off

Post by crozogirl » Thu, 26 Oct 2006 11:30 pm

hi everyone..

i;ve booked tickets, hotel and appt for surgery for nose nad double eyelids with dr somrak.

the correspondence i've had with chisholm, his medical consultant have been the most and I find I get more answers from her than other surgeons.

although i wanted to do it with dr sukit as I hvae personal friends who have undergone surgery with him...wen i emailed him abt my nose..he seem to think my nose is fat and very difficult to do..so i guess my case i have no choice but to go with dr somrak.

i am still holding back on Botox in bangkok though..cuz I remember Jovin mentioned this place at Maylaysia that is cheaper...

anyone has any experience in bangkok for botox for the chin to slim down a very chuby face? Dr sukit says my face is chubby due to jaw muscles and fat..and theres little he can do.

Sigh.....anyone else with comments???

BTW, i manage to get a fren to go with me and i'm going for 7 days from nov2 to nov 8. wish me luck!

yes i know.

if u want comfy rooms, quiet environment and near mrt, plus cheap http://asiatravel.com/thailand/watanamansion/
got airport pickup and delivery. safer and save u the hassle for just sgd $100 for 3 nites! all u need to do is go to bkk, take ride to hotel, drop luggage, take cab to hospital, take cab back to hotel, rest few nites, take ride back to airport to sg...
if u need extra nites, just extend direct at the hotel for 450-500bahts per nite... full facilities, free 30 mins internet per day to update us of ur recovery, need i say more... it is my overall favourite hotel in bkk so far

if u want higher class, clean room, more central location and more executive like will be

http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/bangk ... umvit.html and http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/bangk ... attan.html

if u want to go shopping for cheap clothes and good room, good buffet bkfast, it will be

both website i use before. no problems so far. asiatravel is a public listed co. in singapore.

watana was cheap and good. imagine 4d3n with airport pickup and delivery plus full facilities for less than a $100. for extension nites, i suggest u get them from the reception direct as u can get them cheaper at 500 or 450 bahts. locAtion not the best but next o MRT so can go anywhere u want in BKK. else take taxi (only).

next one i recommend woraburi, quite new so room is cleaner. but more expensive abit.

Chin Implant

Post by troubledblues » Sat, 28 Oct 2006 1:12 am

Hi. I am planning to have chin implant. Consulted Dr. Martin Huang (Paragon) last week and I am comfortable with him being my surgeon. But my main concern is, how safe can the implant be? This thing is going to stay inside my body forever, who knows what will happen.
Need advice and encouragement from someone who has done that. Thanks.
