yes i know.

if u want comfy rooms, quiet environment and near mrt, plus cheap http://asiatravel.com/thailand/watanamansion/
got airport pickup and delivery. safer and save u the hassle for just sgd $100 for 3 nites! all u need to do is go to bkk, take ride to hotel, drop luggage, take cab to hospital, take cab back to hotel, rest few nites, take ride back to airport to sg...
if u need extra nites, just extend direct at the hotel for 450-500bahts per nite... full facilities, free 30 mins internet per day to update us of ur recovery, need i say more... it is my overall favourite hotel in bkk so far

if u want higher class, clean room, more central location and more executive like will be

http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/bangk ... umvit.html and http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/bangk ... attan.html

if u want to go shopping for cheap clothes and good room, good buffet bkfast, it will be
http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/bangk ... e_sky.html

these hotels have their own good point and i have stayed there b4 with recoomendation from forumers and friends. of coz i have stayed at othe rhotels but i would recommend u these 4 becoz of price

http://www.asiatravel.com/thailand/whit ... index.html
this one is near chinatown, so u can try the shark fina n birdnest

my mini guide for bangkok travel:

from airport to hotel, dun be decieved to use their limo or charter cab.
change money at Singapore, mustaffa or golden mile. have lots of 10/20 bahts notes for tips and cabs.
just flag it urself cab fare at the airport main exit, would be between 200-300bahts inclusive of toll charges. if use meter can be as low as 150 baht but my experience is that the cabbie will take u round for a ride to clock 200+ baht metere fare.

next, dun be cheated by any helpful and friendly ppl, sorry cases and "helpful" ppl. these ppls are pro conners. also advoid tuk tuk as 95% are cheating tourists taking u all to shops to buy gems blah blah at high prices.

IN BKK, it is safer by urself or with ur friends. dun believe anyone except those staffs in hotels. also, ask the hotel staffs to take down all the cab no. when u left the hotels as this will discouraged cheating.

buy your essential stuffs like shampoo and tootpaste blah blah at watsons or Supermarket. Dun buy gifts or things to bring back to singapore at MBK shopping centre shops, they charge 30-50% more than those roadside shops or stalls.

next, pay not more than $10 travelling from one end to another end of bkk. i usually pay $3-10 for each trip. ask the hotel staff to get the right cab price for u.

next put 500 bahts aside , not for any spending as this is for the airport exit tax. DO not touch this $500 baht

in BKK, u must bargain min 30%-50% off their roadside or nite stalls goods. if not, just walk away, chances are there will be other stalls willing ti sell the same design at lower prices. for me, with my local friend, i always got more than 50-70% off retail
(tourist) price..

seriously since most is going for surgery, i dun think i would recommend sight seeing places as chances are u sweat. yes u swaet alot due to the humid climate... and hinder the recovery process. worst is kana infection. thus i recommend u go shopping in aircon place. u can ask the hotel staffs at recept for recommendation. remeber to reward 20 baht < Sgd1 for good service staff.

most of the roadside food is 10-20 baht per item. try those that is hot and just cooked. their bbq sticks and Wanton mee is heavenly man... drool

dun drink from tap water even those boiled. dun drink any drinks offered to u except u buy urself. also, if let say u need to leave ur drinks to washroom or othe places. discard the drinks and buy new one. make sure it is opened in front of u and make sure it is glass bottled and capped. u wouldnt believe the voodoo thai used. my fren kana big big siah till almost died and he is kana there just for a disco dance...

I've just got an email from healthaesthetic.com
Nose Augmentation – Treatment only

1. Nose Augmentation Surgery (Bangkok) $1,600
2. Nose Augmentation Surgery (Singapore) $4,500

Our surgeon in Bangkok is fully US Board certified, and is considered one of the most experienced cosmetic surgeons in the region, famous worldwide for his expertise on aesthetic surgery. I can send you his CV upon request. We are his exclusive medical consultants in Singapore and our services are tailored so as to better look after the needs of our patients.

Package Prices
An example of our packages is our 4D/3N Nose Augmentation Surgery Package in Bangkok starting from S$1,990 inclusive of comprehensive arrangements (excluding airfare). The prices quoted are all inclusive with no additional hidden charges. A similar treatment with our Singapore surgeon of equal experience will cost between S$4,500 to S$8,000. Please see attached file for details of our packages available.

Recovery will take 1 week to 10 days. After this period, normal, non-strenuous activities can be resumed. Any necessary follow-up treatment in Singapore will be arranged with our partner GPs at no extra charge.

Your typical package will include some/all of the following:
v Pre-trip consultation and counseling in Singapore
v All laboratory and radiological investigations
v Priority appointments
v All medical and surgical fees related to your procedure
v Inpatient stay, nursing fees and consumables
v Post-operative follow-up in Thailand and Singapore
v Medical report and Medical Certificates (MC)
v Personal English-speaking client relations representative
v 24x7 medical concierge service while in Bangkok
v Choice of accommodation
v Return transfers by private vehicle
v Health Aesthetics Assurance
my concern is not the price but the reliability and result.
Any comment?

just google and found out this:
http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php ... 7974&st=15

An earlier person suggested Yanhee hospital. I wouldn't go there unless you are short on cash and desperate for surgery. It is more of a training ground for doctors not a private clinic with experienced surgeons. It is always possible to get a skilled doctor with very little experience but it would be a gamble.

i believe the website is refering to the lasik at yanlee. the doctors in yanlee are recommended by locals who cant offered the hight prices else where. so far, the result from sg ppl who did their job at yanlee has been positive. u can do a search on the recent yanlee jobs done

yanlee is cheap mah. also the results from yanlee and those local ppl who did their nose and eyes have been rather positive.

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58608 = good review and a surprise price for the poorer asian patients..

there is one doctor in bkk who chages only 50% more than yanlee but have good reputation and experience. i wonder if anyone in this forum can remember or know this doctor. HE charges like usd750-800 for a nose job.. Found him but it seem his price is usd1k now http://www.kasemrad.net/price.htm <==== is this the same doc which jennifer goes too?

There are so many things in this world to worry about besides your 'too natural nosejob'.

To put it bluntly, even if you get your dream plastic face or body, nothing will change the sense of insecurity, discontent and self loathing some of you have inside.

Please note I am only directing this to those who seem addicted to surgery.
hi guest ..., are you the one who saw Dr Loh in Penang before? Can tell me how to contact him?
It was many years agom back in 98 I think. Look his clinic up on the internet he might be listed. Loh Laser Clinic.

If you see him again let me know if he's as cute as he was so many years back
i think this may be the loh u looking for

should be enough but i suggest more days coz the fastest recovery i seen from all forums i have been to is 2 weeks and that lady did not have alar done just simple implants. alar should not be a major op but there was report of redness and pain at the place where the cut is stitch and they too take 2 weeks to heal.

thus if possible get (keng) a 1 week mc from a local doc bah, talk to ur doc, i believe he or she would understand... i believe u dun want to have powder on top of your fresh wounds/ scar bah..
1 week is really abit "rush" the dried blood patch havent even drop off yet..
