Been lurking this thread for the past month and decided to start posting coz of the sizable community here. I've been considering cosmetic surgery locally to have a more chiseled face (am a guy here btw). Am looking at possibly buccal fat removal / facial liposuction / rhinoplasty. Don't want to do botox or any other surgeries that have a temporary effect. Am having a mid-range budget - not looking at really expensive docs like Dr Martin Huang or Dr Woffles Wu; would not feel comfortable doing it overseas as well. Any recommendations? Any personal experiences to share? Any other surgical procedures for facial contouring? Please do PM me if you wish to keep it private.
wad's a chiseled face? u mean face with strong features? guys usually better to haf strong face strong jaws... whereas gals usually better to haf soft features from wad dr seah told me.... ur current features ok? hmmm wad u wan to do?
for me i did my nose... nw i tinking to do lipo, braces, n prob jaw surgery to make my face small
chiseled face is those like leo ku, any lau and sorimachi. the cheek is sunken with well defined jaw bone
guys look better with very defined jaw bone? cos i hate my defined jaw bone... feel like making them less defined....

Hi everyone,
esp ocean11, jovin, spendalot, jennifer lee, iamdanny and all....
i've been reading this forum thread since monday from page one and i;ve finally reached pg 193.
after all that reading this past week...i have decided that i will be going to do my nose. i am not sure if i need an I inplant or L implant and I know i should email the docs..but i am not able to upload pics onto my com at the moment..which is why...sigh
anyway, i am not being impulsive but before i think too much about it..i believe I am going to just deciding to do it.
firstly, because i have decided not to tell anyone about it...I probably will be going alone and I am deciding to go end oct around 30th or something...this is becuase my parents will be on holiday during this period..so its my chance.
and I am asking if anyone is going during this period and we can probably share the hotel tog and all.
please contact me on this forum as i am unable to PM anyone at the moment.
I have decided on either Dr Somsak (but he's more ex like double the amt),
Dr Sukit ( if he will be willing to do L implant) or Dr Greechart (he's highly recommended by a local thai friend rite?) @ Yanhee
or either a recommended doc (can someone please recommend) at Bumrungrad? I;ve been to Bumrungrad for Lasik before so I am quite confident with Bumrungrad standards u see.
But i have not heard much abt recommendation except for Dr Pommeee but he is too expensive ($5000 is it?)
So i am in this dillemma where I have decided to do it, I have decided to do it in one week's time..but i don;t know where to go.
I also plan to perform cheek liposuction as well so any help would be appreciated on this.
Thank you to everyone who has shared their experience and advice. I truly appreciate it. It has made me feel more and more confident to do it.
I look forward to some friendly and helpful advice. thank u

In my email frm Somsak's clinic:
[email protected]
Most plastic surgeons are restricted into using a specific type of nose implant. Some uses on "I" implants, there're so many other options available. Dr. Somsak's expertise in rhinoplasty augmentation and this includes the use of "I","L" implants. There's also silicone implants where Dr. Somsak can specifically design a desired nose implant suitable for your facial profile.
Experienced surgeons charge a higher fee also because they give favorable results & their ability to 'design' a nose for you, than, having the restriction to the different types of implants in their office.

hi jennifer thanks for the advice. sorry if i repeat questions but i have no choice..i started looking through all the posts from page 1 again last nite and i'm still up lookinh through on page 93 now.
it seems that more or less i;m deciding on yanhee .
it's probably a matter of who I will be able to get to agree to work on me.
I also will want to do eyelid and cheek lipo at the same time. figured since i will look like pig head i might as well do it all together. save me the hassle of being pig head twice or thrice. Hee
maybe some suggestion could be given to me on where i can stay and if there are any available help if i need since i am travelling alone. appreciate everything heaps!
PS!!! ANYONE INTERESTED TO GO WITH ME??? I am scared also..but must be brave. any companion will be good!

My friend's nose with Dr Fok is turning out very nicely. Saw her in her 4th week. Most of the swelling has gone down. Her tip is so nice! Not very obvious, just right for her face. Overall, I would recommend Dr Fok if any of you decide to do it here.

Hi crozogirl,
it's too early for me. I haven't done proper planning and definitely I can't take 2 weeks leave. Where can I find pictures of beautiful nose?
Do the Dr suggests or we give our idea of beautiful nose?
