Sorry can't recmmend a doc from SGH for tummy tuck since I have not personally enquired abt this. Perhaps someone who has done research on and went ahead with it can advise you. Because docs from SGH don't talk alot, it appears that they don't show much interest in you, you leave the room still in doubt. This is esp so if the procedure is for aesthetic reason (not medical-related purposes).
I have been to both Dr WW (Camden), Dr MH (Paragon) and a few docs in SGH. Think u can go to Dr Colin Song for a constructive consultation. He is a nice and responsible doctor. Had a procedure done by him. V happy. But I havent done tumy tuck before. But I think he can offer good advice. =)

Hi, has anyone done an injection rhinoplasty?
Wonder how effective it would be for an Asian nose, since the size of the nose wont change...I am intending to have it done with Dr Woffles Wu....Any comments appreciated!! :)

Can anyone between Dr Leslie Kewk and Dr Martin Huang, who is a better choice for tummy tuck. Do u have a breakdown of charges including hospitalization ? Is it painful ?

So, i went to Woffles Wu & did my nose filler. Its rather subtle, no one, including my hubby realised! Rather expensive thou, final bill for the cheapest filler (will last up to 6 mths) - came to $2200! Might consider something more permanent if i decide to redo it in 6 months....

Hi Apple 1,
Thanks so much for your advise. It is not comforting at all if they show no interest in the patients. Hope I can get some advise from people who had done that or enquired at SGH. Am considering doing it in Phuket, Thailand. Have been in contact with a surgeon there and he seems very honest with what can and cannot be done etc.

Once again, thanks Apple 1,
Hilda

Hi Guest,
Thanks for your recommendation. I think I'll book an appointment to see Dr Colin Song at SGH. My concern has been which doc to see at SGH since they have so many there and their reputation for not talking much worries me as one need information to make decision.

Cheers.

Hi Hilda,

I can understand the frsutration of having such a personal problem. I think Dr Colin Song is great. It will really help if u can prepare a list of questions before the consultation, to avoid any queries that u may forgot to clarify. To be honest, I just came back from my post-op consultation the other day with him, and the clinic was so packed. However, i dare say that Dr Song will do his best if he were to do the procedure for u. Private doctors like Dr MH n DR WW whom I had consulted before are gd. No doubt. But the cost is really high. The price can get 2-3 times higher.

I wish u gd luck! =) :P

By the way, I really hope that u wun do it in thailand, if given a choice. I really think surgery is one area where quality cannot be compromise by lower costs. U dont want complications to occur in an attempt to correct an existing problem. I mean, having consulted quite a no of doctors, I feel that it is too risky to go overseas for surgery. Post-operative care would most likely be compromised. But I cant say for sure that surgery is thailand is not gd. But dont take the risk. I m sure ur body is worth more than the cost savings. I have considered to do my procedure in thailand too. fortunately, i changed my mind after a few consultations with local doctors, coz of incidents of complications in other patients.

I m not sure abt that. He didnt do a nose job for me. No harm gng for a consultation with him n ask for pictures to view. Coz i think u shld consult a few doctors until u r comfortable with and confident abt one.

=)
