When are you heading off to the States for your double eyelid op?
Since you're not gonna be doing your rhino with Dr Flowers, who did you choose instead?
Hi! I havent made up my mind yet when but not anytime too soon. Im still torned between Dr. Toriumi and Dr. Davis for rhino. Im still in my research phase. Wouldnt wanna rush into anything. So as far as research goes, those are the surgeons for me.

Leena,
From posts in other forums, Dr Danny charges RM2200 for eyelid.
Do not be in a rush to decide what u shd do with your nose. If e implant is making u really uncomfortable, maybe u can consider taking it out first. Let your nose recover & see how u wan revision to be done later. I am a layman in terms of rhino so not able to suggest much...

Leenaaa,
all that sounds so complicated! But its probably alot more straightforward than it sounds....
So are u still considering Dr. Jung? Did he say what exactly he can do to fix the problem? I think that going overseas (again) is kinda a scary prospect, esp after your experience with Dr. K. But hopefully it will be fixed once and for all.

leeeeena,
Did he quote you a price for his efforts? Are surgeries over there expensive and do they charge in US dollars just because we are foreigners in their country?

leenaaaa wrote:Hi everyone,
Grr! Feeling very stressed now! Was planning on doing my revision here, but then another korean dr told me that my lower lateral cartilages are distorted, etc and that is why the bas of my colmunella is hidden! Sounds very complicated and I am beginning to wonder if I should just go to Dr Jung. sigh
leena dun be affected by the various docs comments... some doc make it sound so serious n our nose so ugly jus to make us spend the money n do surgery with him... my advice is to go to 1 doc whom u trust most n let him do... cos the more u ask the diff docs the more confused u r jus like when u go to diff beauty salons or counters the SA wil say our skin bad n wan us to buy products n package cos they use this tactisc to earn our money... hths... take care...

ya overseas gt many failed cases too... if u read cleo or cosmetic surgery magazine they gt mention jus that we heard gd things in this forum from overseas doesn't mean there no failed cases overseas lor.... in fact successful n failed cases are equally many... so see ur luck one...

Leenaaa,
Dr. Jung was also really brief with me over email and even when I got to his clinic he seems like quite the busy man. Perhaps its the language barrier or something but I think he's quite the man of few words. But he's supposed to be very experienced with revisions and with lengthened noses.
Overall I'm happy with my nose. From week 3 to 4 my nose suddenly got smaller and even my bf noticed that its different. My nose tip swelling has gone down a bit more and seems to have more definition, not just a round blob anymore. My alar scars are not really noticeable and when I put concealer on them they're invisible. I still think the bridge is a tad too high and I think that's a problem with the Korean style noses. They like the very high bridge look which I don't like, but overall its an improvement. I guess that's all I was looking for. If ppl go for surgery expecting perfection then they'll probably be disappointed. But if all u want is an improvement then its alot more realistic that you'll be satisfied.
