That will help thank you. I'm still deciding whether I dare go for rhinoplasty with silicon implant.
what's ur main concern of silicone implant?? scared of the risks n side effect or the pain??
Extrusions, contractions, necrosis or bad aesthetic results. There was a korean site with a gallery full of pictures of these silicon implants gone wrong.
leenaaaa: What type of implant did you have before? Why are you aiming for silicon implants now and which doctor are you going to?

Thanks for the suggestion, but somehow I don't really trust Malaysian doctors hehe other than GPs! I have always gone to doctors overseas for anything specialised!
I am prob going to have my revison rhino over here. Just remove the implant and replace it with a silicon implant. I'm kinda wary about using silicon, but since I will be using ear cartilage at the tip as a buffer between the implant and my skin, it shouldn't cause too much of a prob. I hope.
Wann get this thing fixed then move on!!

Have been following this thread & I find it really informative. Thanks to all who shared their experinces & info...
Anyone had their double eyelid done by Dr Danny Oh from Penang & have info to share? I have came across other forums that mentioned he does a good job in eyes & nose but however not too much reviews about him.
Leena, maybe u can try corresponding with Dr Danny to get another source of professional advise? I have read that he respond promptly to emails even after post-surgery.
His email:
[email protected]
This is just my sugesstion as I may not be suitable to comment as I am not 1 of his PS candidate.
So far reviews about him are good reviews, not a single bad review. It may be becos not many Singaporeans goes to him & thats why I hope to get more info abt him to get a more complete picture.
so u haf confirm to let dr seah do ur nose??? hmm i may be seeing him soon ba... haiz... my sch term starting soon if i dun do this mth i haf to wait til my next vacation then can do nosesurgery.... leena all the best to u if u haf confirmed on ur choice of doc... hope u can achieve the desired results u wan jia you

Leena,
Hope u can find a good doctor for your nose. Find someone whom u feel comfortable with, able to address your worries & most impt of all, the doctor shd highlight to u all e possible risks & disadvantages instead of painting a good picture that he wld do a good job.
wat abt ur eyes? R u also planning for revision?

Leena,
Just to add on, Dr Danny Oh actually graduated in USA & had practice there for many yrs.
I emailed him just rdg double eyelid & he replied within a few hrs. I find his reply very sincere.
Try emailing him since no harm & who knows, u might get some new insights from him.
I dun mean to force u but I just hope u can gather as much info as possible before making the next move. We all hope the best for our face.

My parents gave the "OK" despite not being very agreeable on the idea after I talked to them about rhinoplasty. My younger sibling doesn't know I want to do this yet but I know he won't agree to it. My nose has always bothered me for years.
I am thinking of going to Dr. H at Paragon... he uses Silicon implants although if I feel strongly towards cartilage he'll use that but it means longer operating hours and higher expenses. We all know how much he charges and I'm kinda scared that if I take body cartilage I'll have a scar on my ribs or something...
Should I go for it if it's a silicon implant? Please help me guys.
Anyone with personal experiences with Dr H from Paragon or silicon implants please let me know.
I have to make a decision.
