Also, here is what I've come up with so far while doing research about PS specializing in Asian Eyes and Noses:
For Asian Eyes: Dr. Meronk, Dr. Flowers, Dr. Charles Lee
For Asian Noses: Dr. Toriumi, Dr. Flowers
If anyone else has any other reccommendations, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
today jus came back from another visit with a plastic surgeon in gleneagles... he say he use silicone implant n it looks like L shaped... then the doc say he wil cut from the part that link the upper gum to upper lip (erm hope u all know what i haf described) . his incision method is like very different from other doc who will cut on the inside of the nostrils leh... hmmm can those who had done rhinoplasty tell me if ur doc cut in the nostrils or in the ipper gum area?
and my doc say he will inject anesthetic in the nose n in the upper gum area n oso gv me sedative... the whole procedure wil take 30-45mins or less and it costs 1800 including all the medication and post op consultations... n the stiches used is soluble one... so the scars will be like in the mouth instead....
btw those who did rhinoplasty do ur docs show u the b4 n after surgery pics of his past patients? cos i request for the pics but his nurse say its confidential n she can't show me...
hope those who did rhinoplasty can ans my qns.... n btw i haf to stop taking vit E and epo 1 wk b4 the op right?
Actually, this is the preferred and better method for inserting nose implants.
I heard Dr Wu and Dr Huang uses this method so the implant wont end up crooked !!

Hi all,
I'm planning on being in KL in August and would like to use the opp to jab in some botox. Jovin, you mentioned you're in KL a couple of days ago and if I recalled correctly you had some Botox works in JB, could you please share with me and the forum the safe and effective doc to get this done in KL or JB?
Any other inputs are welcome.
Thanks for your help ahead of time.

really?? i tot dr wong method is rather wierd.... haf to insert from mouth area seems wierd... n our gum area wil haf a cut n scar leh... n how to eat aft the op... becos of this wierd method i dare nt let him do the op cos he didn't show me b4 n aft pics so i am nt convinced n comfortable with his methods. but dr wong say this method is gd cos scars, can't be seen, n no infection n nt pain.... sounds so easy

leenaaaa wrote:Hmm although I think the surgeons in Thailand, Taiwan and Korea are really experienced, I am quite worried about doing my revision overseas again. I mean what if something goes wrong again? It's really traumatic! Esp when you fly all the way to a foreign non-english speaking country only to meet a dr with an attitude problem! (I am sugar coating it)
I am really tempted to go to Dr Seah to either 1) remove my implant + alarplasty, or 2) remove implant and replace it with another one + alarplasty. But I'm just worried that Dr Seah doesn't know how to deal with noses lengthened with sepal and ear cartilage. I don't want to end up with an uglier nose!
But, I want to get this fixed asap, it's cheaper to do it here and the dr is more accessible if there are probs, and I'm not really keen on flying overseas again.
Argh!!! I think it's 50/50 singapore vs overseas. HELP!
leena i tinking of finding dr seah or dr harry fok to do my nose... cos i dun feel comfortable with dr wong... hmm wanna go see him tog?? if u dun wan its ok...

I think Dr Seah is cheaper than Dr Fok. Blackcreamer had a simple L implant and he charged her $3.5k I think. Dr Seah only charges like $2.5k ish. I have been to Dr Seah before. Might see him tomorrow if he is free. Your case and mine's pretty different. You might want to consult him separately. Don't know if he does consults with 2 ppl at once?
hi... hmm cos i tinking of asking wad can be done to make my nose nice cos i wan to reduce my nose size n see if it can be lengthened or nt lor.. so if can i wil do implant plus alar at the same time ba... hmm tmr u gg to see dr seah?? hmmm cos i was tinking if we confirm to let the same doc do our noses then we can monitor each other progress by the same doc.. at least wun be as scarier as going for surgery alone... but wad i mean is nt consult n do surgery on same day n time .... at diff day n time but same doc lor... cos this is my first surgery n i kind of nervous n scared...
