Leenaaa: I think $800 for implant removal is really reasonable. Can he insert a smaller implant immediately or why do u have to wait for the nose to settle? It would save u the trauma of another surgery if u get it fixed all at once. My nose was also lengthened so I often wonder what the shape would be like if I remove my implant. I think it should be alright, I imagine that mine would just look like a small flat button nose. Not disastrous or anything. Yours should probably be fine too. I can't believe that Dr. K would put in an implant thats too long and crooked, he's supposed to be one of the better surgeons in Korea too. If I hadn't already got my nose done, I probably would have second thoughts about going to korea for surgery.
Young Princess: I got ur pm but I can't reply for some reason. So you're thinking of going to Dr. Jung too? My personal experience with him was quite positive but these things really vary from person to person. Its 11 days post op now and I'm really starting to like my nose. I don't think it would really help to see pictures because what I wanted and asked for might not be what you want. I told him repeatedly that I wanted to look natural and not too pointy or sharp and I feel that he gave me a nose that suits my features. If u have big eyes and full lips then a tiny pointy nose would just look fake. But I feel that he listened to me and I'm quite satisfied with the shape of it. Sorry I can't share pics with u but I'd be happy to answer any other questions u have!

Leenaaa,
don't worry bout that now. All that matters is that it can be fixed. As for wondering if your nose will look strange if u remove the implant, I can kinda see what u mean. Cuz I have extra cartilage at my lengthened nose tip too so it might look strange if its just a bump at the end. Right after I got my cast off I was quite sure I wanted to take out the implant, but my bf convinced me that its really not that bad. He was so dead against me getting a nose job but now its funny cuz now he's the one trying to convince me that it looks very natural and nice.
I'm starting to like it now but sometimes I look at it and it creeps me out. From certain angles it looks really natural but from others it looks a lil bit like a caucasian nose. Which was not the intended result. I mean, I can live with it, its not a bad nose at all and kinda suits my face well. Its nicer than my original nose, but I still get a fright sometimes when I look in the mirror. Sometimes I feel very upbeat about it sometimes I still regret it a lil bit.....I still think Dr. Jung did a good job but I'm having a tough time adjusting to the change. Its comforting knowing that others have gone through the same thing and I'm not the only one. Just hope that in a month or so I will have gotten so used to it that I don't think bout it anymore.
Good luck with your revision....I hope the removal of implant is enough and u won't need further surgery!

I think Timmy has said some very mean things. To say that you hope someone has a bad experience and ends up ugly is nasty and cruel.
I hope the moderators of this board stop this nonsense straight away.
Timmy I suggest if you have nothing nice to say then shutup. As for posting someone's picture up - totally unacceptable and if I was Babyevil I'd be talking to my lawyers.

Hi i am new here..
i have just done a double eyelid surgery at Dr F..he uses the laser method...which i am not veri sure whether its beta...cos most of the surgens in spore doesnt practise that...so i shall kip my fingers cross!
however, my eyes are quite swollen now...n one of the anti-swollenin pills. prednisolone, he gave mi, does have some side-effects which he did not brief mi...nor he ask for my health condition n allergies. I found the info on the net. I do find his behavior puzzling..
so i decided to stop, takin tat medicine..since he told mi that its best not to take if swellin stops...
now my rite eyes lid is a bit reddish...it seems like the blood has flown down from the wound...
btw...someone has any gd recommendation for fastin anti-swelling n healing remedy for double eyelid surgery?
i would realli appreciate it!

hi wenhwa u did rhinoplasty with dr seah?
is it gd n natural?
how much is ur cost?
and during the op, after the op is it painful?
i oso looking for a gd surgeon to do nose surgery.. hope u can ans my qns.. thanks
Actually, for me, I think it is good and looks natural on me. But I guess different people have different yardsticks for that. I paid 3500 for my surgery, however, mine is more expensive because I had to file down my hump. For rhinoplasty, I think it starts from 2800 for them.
On the issue of pain, I think you would feel more uncomfortable because of the swelling rather than the actual pain from the surgery.
hi wenhwa so from ur posts i assume dr j*ne is nt very gd la... ur 2nd op with dr seah is successful n gd ar? hmmm so there's no pain at all during n after the op jus only swelling n bruise? hmmm cos my main concern is i scared my new nose may nt look nice n according to wad i wan lor.. n oso i scared of pain after n during the op... btw ur 2nd op implant use L or I shape?
Whether Dr Jane is good or not in general, not up to me to say. But I didn't like her work on me. The distance between my expectation and the result is too great a level for me.
I used L implant.

Leenaaa,
I stayed at the one in Nakseongdae. I think thats the same one Rabbit stayed at. It seems to be run by a family and they are quite friendly. The dad and daughter speaks English pretty well and they went out of their way to make my stay more comfortable. But what I liked best was that its very convenient to take the subway to Dr. Jung's clinic.
If u go to Dr. Jung, he will provide airport pickup free of charge. There will be a driver waiting for u so u don't have to worry bout how to get there. The driver took me straight to the clinic frm the airport and I had my surgery the same day. It was much more convenient than trying to find my own transport esp after the flt when you're tired.
