Hi,

When are you going cos I'm very interested to go. Hope I'm not too late. I'm planning to go by 15 June
shashi, which doc are u going to? and what procedures?
I'm going to Dr Hsu in Taiwan - the same PS as Jovin. I'm doing my eyes, I've got double eyelids but hidden on 1 side so need to enhance it, will consult him on it. Also doing Rhino and alar at the same time. I've booked it on 12 June Monday.

Hi Black_creamer,

I've recieved your msg in my inbox but I can't post my reply to you from there. Weird!. Anyway, the reason I think he refuses me is becos I send my photo to him and he saw that I need Rhinoplasty + Alarplasty and so he refused. Everyone knows he don't do Alarplasty, just doing Rhino is much simpler and therefore only charges USD450. It's not right for him to say that I can't do much to it which is total bullocks. It's just that he doen't specialise in Alar, only Rhino. He have told the same thing to Astar as well and she was quite upset. Well Astar, if you are reading this, don't be, there's plenty of good surgeons that will do it. Take Korea for example. there's pictures of bulbous nose very nicely done on the webpage. Anyway, I've booked myself with Jovin's DR this coming Monday and is really looking forward to it.

Before Surgery

Post by shashi » Sat, 10 Jun 2006 4:58 am

1 question to those who have done their surgery before whether the doctor or hospital will ask you to sign a contract of some sort that if any mishaps happen during the op, that the patient will be be fully responsible for it. I'm going on Monday so I need to know if that is required or not.
Thanks for your input.

hi lena,

We all sympathise with what you're feeling. Many thanks for this frank and honest sharing. But i'm sure that the situation is less worse than it currently seems yah...gotta give the body time to heal and get the swelling down; the eyes and nose especially. Hope that Martin finds everything in order.. and do continue to keep in touch..

Best Wishes...

Leennna, dont worry too much ok...it would take some time to settle, esp. swelling of your nose. I suppose u had high expectations and are being quite critical of the results as well...Meanwhile, keep us posted on ur consultation/revision with Dr H.

Shashi, thanks for ur reply. I think if u feel like u need an alar, by all means go for it. Mine was just an augmentation, and though I did get a more prominent bridge, the nostrils are still as wide as before! :( Wished i went all out and had an alar the same time i did my augmentation as well! :???:
