STOP SMOKING. You really have to stop smoking before any surgeries, be it for cosmetic purpose or health reason. You won't recover as fast. Sinecch will still help in reducing swell and bruise, but if you continue smoking, then it won't be full effect. After recovering then you decide if you want to re-pickup smoking.

but does Sineech help if you are a smoker? I plan to stop smoking 3 weeks before and after surgery. But am still worried as a bruise easily.
Hmmm... what should I do next? Cheekbone reduction maybe?

SinEcch (arnica montana) does help immensely when taken on day of surgery for 4 days. I think you can still take it. You have to ask your doctor for that. Pineapple (bromelian) juice has a positive effect on swelling too.
Leeeema: no smoking! It compromises the small blood vessels and thus delays healing.

hi all,
i don't think there's any wrong with plastic surgery and if you say it's meant for people who were badly scarred and it's to help them lead a normal life. i could say i'm npot able to lead the live i want cos i'm not born pretty and plastic surgery gives me the confidence to do things i was never able or have the courage to try. normalility is a state of mind and everyone defines normalility differently, so how can you put someone down just because she's got issue with her looks? michael jackson is not an example of plastic surgery gone bad, it's his constant pressureof going up in an industry which doesn't allow him to grow and is more acceptance to white people, what he wants is to be accepted as white. it's not him, you should blame, it's the society and the industry he's in. so don't even say people who had surgery are not normal and have to listen to your advice. i believe everybody has a right to look pretty and be confident. pretty is pretty, fake or real.[/quote]

What do you think about Smartlipo? or laserlipolysis? I hear it is good for small areas and not much downtime.

Yea I know I should stop smoking. I am just asking if quitting the cancer sticks for the 3 weeks before and after surgery will make any difference, considering the fact that I am a smoker? =P
It most DEFINITELY will. Try to cut down afterwards.

Unfortunately it is only available at certian docs offices. Dr. Hongs office has it at Mt Alvernia hosp. You should call them and ask if they sell it to non-Dr Hong patients. I would never have surgery without SinEcch from now on. I personally would say it healed 80-90 faster (swelling, bruising and pain).
In the meantime eat pineapple, especially the core. I dont think you can find bromelian pills in singapore. Good Luck

Oh, they do sell Arnica Montana gel at Guardian pharmacy (I have seen it at Paragon). Arnica Montana is the active ingredient of SinEcch (pill). The pill is much better of course. The gel is for bruising. Ask your doc before you use anything for the first few weeks at least.

i've read it somewhere but i don't think it's instant result, sounds to me like a more expensive mesotheraphy. wants todo the lipo and get over it. i know the downtime is longerbut i woudl imagime it being better. my friend did it but in bangkok besides her bad expeinces she actually doesn't put on fat there ever. but the clinic was a bit scary so didn't want to do it there.

SinEcch is a Homeopathic med. (Arnica Montana). it is clinically proven to reduce bruising and swelling and pain caused by trauma or surgery. I 100% believe it made a HUGE difference in my recovery.
