hi lena, ordinary make should be fine right? but anyway if u need heavy coverage try looking into those photography studios that make u over as well...they use a different kind of stick foundation which i believe has really heavy coverage..i think that's what they use for stage and movie make up..u can buy it from them as well.. or u can try cinema secrets cosmetics..i heard their products are really good for covering bruises and stuff..but im not sure if its available in sg.. hope this helps..

Hi everyone,

If anyone has had rhinoplasty done by Dr. Huang or any plastic surgery done by him could you please email me at [email protected]? I would really appreciate it as I am considering undergoing rhinoplasty with him and would love more feedback on his expertise before I decide to move forward with it.

Thanks.

Nose: cold press for 5 days, i think. After that is warm press to reduce bruising.

Eyes: cold press for 1 week. Don't apply warm press!

As for the scorpion grass medicine, please do not sukak-sukak boil and drink! Yes it's proven to reduce bruise and swell fast, but also, you might get diarrhoea! It's said to upset the stomach quite abit. So unless you are staying indoor, with nobody snatching toilet with you, then maybe you can try. But, this herb is very "cooling", so, as i said earlier, don't sukak-sukak buy and drink!

I personally tried Sinecch, well, i think seems to work quite ok. I had posted Rachel's phone number before. Call her to buy a box. No point going to Watson's, Guardian blah blah blah, you won't find a box of Sinecch on the shelf smiling and waving at you.

For my eyes, yes i'm doing fine. Thanks for all concern.

perhaps jovin can give a better "real-life" account.

but from what i have read so far, you need a cold press for the first 3 days, and a "warm press" for the subsequent days (perhaps warm towel, etc?).

there's medicine for you to reduce swelling, and many people buy a herb known as scorpion grass (literal translation from chinese). heard that it's really good.

i am soooooo looking forward to having my rhinoplasty and double eyelid surgery in oct/nov!
Hmmm... what should I do next? Cheekbone reduction maybe?

For eyebrow embroidery, i did mine with salon #1, at Bishan. Famous for eyebrow embroidery. Amy charges $150, free re-touch 2-3 months later. Subsequently yearly touch-up is $30. I lost the number, but i think you can check out at www.yellowpages.com.sg

You must be nuts to pay $300+ for eyebrow embroidery and still say it's cheap :)

tunafish wrote:lenaaa,

i think i will do it in taipei unless somone here can tell me more about dr. fong's skills. i won't do too many procedures - just double eyelid and rhinoplasty. don't think i am prepared to do my chin cos i will be doing the 2 procedures separately (i.e.

in addition, i want to go "xiu mei" i.e. eyebrow threading. it's only around 300+ SGD for a very good shop.

ahmeilover and blackcream,

i think the brand is Hisatmisu. it's quite cheap, and i think it won't be too heavy. since people recommend it. heard u also need Sineech (relieve pain and swelling). i think it's also good to find out the kinds of herbs that will help reduce swelling, and no seafood...that's what i will keep in mind.

eyebrow embroidery and eyebrow threading is 2 different thing! eyebrow threading is like, trimming of eyebrow. Where eyebrow embroidery is more like filling in the sparse spaces in between brow, to make it look natural and look as if it was "drawn" or maintained.

So browhaus do eyebrow threading only? If so, how can they say theirs is better than eyebrow embroidery? it's 2 different thing. It's like saying, "my scissors is sharper than your eraser"... hee...
