hi leena,
perhaps jovin can give a better "real-life" account.
but from what i have read so far, you need a cold press for the first 3 days, and a "warm press" for the subsequent days (perhaps warm towel, etc?).
there's medicine for you to reduce swelling, and many people buy a herb known as scorpion grass (literal translation from chinese). heard that it's really good.
i am soooooo looking forward to having my rhinoplasty and double eyelid surgery in oct/nov!

Ah Mei lover, that was me
Yes, its the one for children with fever, some Japanese brand for $7 from Wastons - just ask the staff for cold compress for sports injury. They also have a bigger version (about $17, which u can use hot or cold), but i got the smaller one. Don't think we need such a big one for just the nose.

lenaaa,
i think i will do it in taipei unless somone here can tell me more about dr. fong's skills. i won't do too many procedures - just double eyelid and rhinoplasty. don't think i am prepared to do my chin cos i will be doing the 2 procedures separately (i.e.
in addition, i want to go "xiu mei" i.e. eyebrow threading. it's only around 300+ SGD for a very good shop.
ahmeilover and blackcream,
i think the brand is Hisatmisu. it's quite cheap, and i think it won't be too heavy. since people recommend it. heard u also need Sineech (relieve pain and swelling). i think it's also good to find out the kinds of herbs that will help reduce swelling, and no seafood...that's what i will keep in mind.

By the way, just thought i will let you gals know about this:
a nurse that dr. fong's clinic removed my stitches (mole removal). while she was doing it, she told me about a great offer (NOT TO BE MISSED)!
she recommended that i let dr. fong perform laser treatment on my face to remove some protrusions (must be tiny cos she used microscope) and freckles. she said the normal cost is $500.00 but sometime in August, dr. fong will demonstrate this procedure to a bunch of young doctors, and the charge will only be like $200+. But you have to be "brave" cos you've got a bunch of interns looking at you (i prefer some privacy).

my simple understanding is that a certain distance must exist between the eyes. if the eyes are too far apart, you can kai yan tou (open the beginning of the eyes). And, if your upper eyelid covers the corner of your eye (the corner closer to the nose), you can "uncover it" using kai yan tou.

Converting abroad monthly salary in previous job details (PR application)

Hello,
Can anyone suggest how to indicate monthly salary of previous job outside Singapore in India, conversion rate to be used to indicate in SGD....
Last post
Just go to and look up the conversion rates India : Singapore for the end of year in question. Eazy-peazy. No need to note it as if they want to...
