hey everyone, been following this thread and i went to bangkok to do my nose on the 1st of february at Yanhee hospital by Dr sukit. Now it's been one month plus already. i love my nose. Everyone's complimenting tat my nose''s very sharp and high. I did implant only. Am happy with the result. My friend who went with me did double eye lid surgery and she look so good now. I'm so happy that i actually did it.

Dear xiaobai,

I'm considering getting my nose done by Dr Sukit too!! If you don't mind, could you pm me a photo of your nose? or a link to your new pic?

There are 2 areas I'm thinking of fixing.... My nose has got not much bridge and my tip is not so defined....

The other thing is I've got these nasolabial grooves ( smile lines? ) running from the corners of my nose to the corners of my mouth! I've had them since I was 18 I think.... Makes me look older than my age!!

I did a consultation with Dr Martin Huang and he said the lines are not due to aging but due to my natural jaw structure. I'm considering getting fillers!! Anyone has a similar problem/experience?

hi! has anybody been to OZ clinic in korea before?? whats your opinion regarding this clinic?? the doctor seems v nice.. but i'm not sure about his experience and all tat.. would appreciate it if somebody coul give me some advice. btw, will a doctor lie about his credentials?? thanks!!

i think an implant alone would be good for you but of course it's better if u actually take a pic of your full face and side view then email doc sukit. He'll advise u on any further instructions as i aint a doc, i'm also a patient.keke... i do not hav any new pics of myself but will try to sent u when i have ok... so sorry abt it..i only hav full face and am uncomfortable to published it i'm quite shy.. i'll see what i can do ok.. mayb u can leave down your email add?

i decided to go n find dr sukit too! going on mid apr... alr emailed him my pics n ask for opinions... as wat he replied from mails can see he is quite a nice doc... hehe... anyay can u tell me more abt ur nose? recovery time? how long u stay at BKK? after surgery any pain blah blah... so they wrap up ur nose or?? lol.. sorry ah... so much questions coz very eager to noe n prepare myself too! hope to hear from u soon!! thanks!

here's a better before/after pic, the bruising is almost gone now and the swelling is 95% gone. the first pic is dated 1 March 2006 and the second is 18 March 2006, and i did my double eyelid surgery on 6 March 2006.

Good to hear that u will go to him for your nose.Gd choice!Dun do in sg i think. No offence to anyone but i think bkk docs r more experienced in this. IN bkk, nose implant or plastic surgery is so normal and common. Not like sg, if u actually see someone with plastic face, everyone will go like"Wah, she/he went for plastic surgery !Blah,blah blah" Our society still very conservative (tat exclude all forumers here)

Some ppl might think that sg more ex and better. Wrong thinking!!! Doesn't mean that bkk is cheaper means "Skill not Good" In my opinion, still better than singapore. My friend did hers here and thou it didnt go wrong, but mine turned out nicer than hers and price wise, i saved so much!!!

So here's your questions (pardon me for being so longwinded)
1.anyway can u tell me more abt ur nose?
Ans: My nose is quite wide but i hav some bridge but not prominent enough so doc sukit told me that if i do implant, it'll lift up my nose alittle and my nose will look sharper and higher.

2.recovery time?
Ans: I dun quite get u as in recovery time in terms of the whole recovery or? as i just did it on 1st feb so it's been 1mth plus only. But if u talkin abt can go out and see ppl, i think should be 5 days to 7 days ba.My nose tip stil swollen up till today. of course it;s better than post surgery swell but e real shape of e nose wil take up to 3month to see the real shape and 1 yr to heal.

3.how long u stay at BKK?
Ans:I stayed in bkk for 7days 6nights.Cuz doc sukit told me tat he need me to go back to see him on the 5th day. He need to check on my new nose and how's e recovery.

4.after surgery any pain ?
Ans:The surgery itself is painless as there's anesthesia. He'll 1st inject u and u'll go to slp for like 15 mins during the 1st min u fall into slp, he'll inject anesthesia to your nose.(U wont feel this 2nd injection or anything as u're aslp) U'll be dreaming and drifting in and out of slp but dun wori. The whole procedure is around 30mins. The nurse woke me up n iwas still so numb everywhere. Wheel me into observation ward n put me on e bed with cold compress. That was when e anesthesia went off and e pain starts coming in. As i'm a migraine sufferer, it really kills me.. my head was hurting so much and my nose started to hav some pressure on me.i'm also a sinus sufferer, so worst!!! I started sneezing. I also vomitted as e anesthesia is too strong for me. i went into e surgery with an empty stomach.i didnt eat or drink anything 8 hrs before.so i guess that's e reason too!! after lying there for 5 hrs, i went back to my hotel. Day 2 was the worst!! My nose hurts and swell so much and my eyes bruised.I totally dun looked like me at all. I look like puffer fish.keke. The pain was abit unbearable to me(not nose hurts it's my migraine it lasted for 3 days!!!) my nose felt like those ("Blue black pain)i keep using cold compress. it really helps in de swelling.All in all i felt feverish and the pain in my head was unbearable.as for the nose u can take e pain killer. it helps to subside the nose pain. But my head was like shit!!! I dun dare to take other medicine for my head as e painkiller doc giv for my nose contains peracetamol, i better dun anyhow eat or mix medicine. so i bear with the migraine for 3 full days!!! Non stop!! Up til today, when i touch my nose tip i can still feel e tenderness and pain. But if u dun touch it, no pain at all.Its still very hard and doc told me will have to wait 1 month plus more for it to soften.

5.so they wrap up ur nose or??
Ans: Doc sukit plaster up my nose with surgical tape.It'll drop off after afew days.

Last but not least this is my own experience. It does not mean that u'll feel the same as diff ppl take pain factor differently.U may or may not feel pain. I also know of someone from this forum who did e same surgery and he felt ok by day 2.and even went shopping on day 2 onwards..so i guess mayb i'm just too weak. i'm a gal ma!!! Hey, i got bad sinus and migraine problem ok

Dear anyone who's interested in goin overseas for surgery..

Please if you can, bring along someone who's not doin surgery so that he or she can take care of you. straight after day1 after lookin into the mirror i fell into depression(family history with depression) hai i got so many problems one lar.. mirgraine, sinus, depression..

Just like to remind u guys, if u ever fall into depression like me, u'll tend to forget that u'll be lookin better in a few days time as the swell is still there and i hav no one to comfort my pain...so i think i'll be good to have company.. And dun wori if your nose look very big after a few
days when e plaster fall off.. it's normal.. keep using cold compress and e swell will decrease in another day or 2. Use hot towel to bring down the bruise around e eye area. It works for me..

As u can see, Jovin and me b4 we do it, we no question ask or watsoever.. cos we have to find out ourselve if needed info.. u nvr know wat do u need from e doc as in different ppls got different question and problems..

All i can say is.. Jovin and me are really happy for the results.. so good luck all..
