Go to a neurologist to check your brain.

Re: See the person!!

It is correct to request to meet-up with the person who recommend you a particular surgeon, but honestly, won't this person be very busy meeting PS-wannabes? :P

There are recommendations, and it's up to you to evaluate and choose the doctor you want to go to.

I realised that in this forum, there are many users recommending different plastic surgeons for different surgeries. However, I would just like to inform everyone in this forum that before you actually decide on which P.S to visit, you might want to request for a meeting with the person whom actually recommended him. By meeting up with the person, you might get a better perspective of the treatment or the surgeon.

The reason that I had brought up this is because I realised that many of those, who had recommended surgeons, are actually people who had just joined the forum (see number of posting posted). So in order to substantial their recommendations, it would be best if you would wanna meet them up in the event that you are interested in that particular surgeon he/she is recommending.

There, my 2 cents worth of advice. Hope this helps you people! But most importantly, hope all of us turns out better and MORE BEAUTIFUL!!!

For jovin and ocean, how long must you be overseas for follow up with doctors?

Have any experienced any side effects and what do you do?

So sorry for so many questions.......i really need to know.

Hi,

So far me and ocean11 have no side effects, except keep wanting to look at our nose in the mirror. Heh.

As you age, lost of collagen results in sagging skin and cheeks. But, look at an old lady with wrinkles all over her face... does her nose sag? No right? So why worry?! :)

If you are scared that when you got old and die, and got cremated, they can find a piece of silicon in between the ashes, don't worry too. They will melt. Unless you doing metal implant?! :P

But i am just wondering for those who had their nose done like jovin and ocean, hows the going? how do you feel? are there any side effects? Do let me know. Someone was telling me that one bad thing abt nose surgery is that as you age, every part of your face will degenerate except your nose so it would be obvious that you have a nose job? Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this.

Hi,

Yes i am reading this... :)

Sorry i was in KL past few weeks and very busy so no time to check this forum. I arrived Taipei yesterday and will be staying here for a few weeks.

Why not you go eyes, nose and chin all together in 1 day? No need to split lah. Should be achievable, ask Dr Hsu.

Charges by Dr Hsu:
Eyes - NTD$18000
Nose - NTD$28000
Chin - NTD$28000
Breast - NTD$88000

Hope you are reading this. Would certainly like to know your response.

I was hoping to do rhinoplasty (and reduce side of nose) with Dr. Hsu. I read from Taiwanese forums that a Dr. Su is very good.

I will only be in Taiwan in October. Do you think it's possible for me to do my double eyelid with Dr. Su and prob next day/same day do nose with Dr. Hsu (may do chin as well).

Please advise? Thanks!

Jovin,

I went onto a Taiwanese forum, and loads of people recommended this lady called Dr. Su for double eyelid surgery + (literal translation) open eye corner.

And all them had great comments for the lady doctor, Dr. Su.

For nose, I think your recommendation of Dr. HSU is great. Most people go to him.

I will definitely go do my nose and eyes in October. Just need to figure out the "logistics". Was thinking of doing my eyes with Dr. Su first on a Sat and then wait for a couple of days before doing my nose with Dr. HSU. I am not sure if Dr. HSU is as famous for doing double eyelids as he is for doing NOSE.

If you have experience with him wrt EYES, please let me know ok.

Thanks, Jovin. Your contributions have been enlightening. I was prompted to read more about Taiwan's plastic surgeons in the local forums. Yes, all complicated Chinese characters.

What's Dr Su's full name? I know there is a famous lady PS here, but i also heard some bad comments. Anyway, i always trust guys more when it comes to hairstylist etc etc, so i will always go to a male plastic surgeon. I am not "sexist" hor, just that i tried many times and i never like female hairstylist, female gynae etc. They have mood swing... hee...

yes, i am going to do my eyes with Dr Hsu this saturday! I very kiasu (as i cannot take a few days off from work, i still have to go back to work), i bought Sineech and have all planned out to try my best reducing the swell and bruises. That time after i did my rhino, i slept on 2 pillows as i read from the forum that this will reduce swell. Thennnn, i very kiasu-ingly apply cold pack diligently everyday. Oh yah, not forgetting the hot-towel after the 4th day to reduce bruises.... errrr... actually works quite well leh, heh. So this time i am going to do the same!

cartilage is from your own body, so your body will not try to resist it. You can try finding out more info on the difference on the internet. Ha, you don't need to see my photo to get encouragement right. You know what you want, gal :) So you planning to go to Dr Chang? I went to him before for consultation, nice guy, speaks slowly but confidently, and his charges are higher than the rest. But then from his sample photos on the website, i can see that he goes for natural look, which is good! who wants to have ultra-big E.T. eyes, double eyelid that seems so broad that you can "kiap" a sandwich in between, nose that is so pointed you can fight with pinochio, and a chin so pointed you can burst a balloon? ! ok ok, too exaggerating but the whole point is, "natural" is what we go for these days.

oh my botox, so far very good! Everyone told me i slimmed down (but i didn't), and my facial shape is different from before. Previously i have a strong jawline and i look like spongebob square pants (hee).

ok, i know alot of you wants to see my before and after photos on the nose and botox i did. You can find a few pics here: http://community.webshots.com/slideshow ... key=LDnbII

If you see me on the road, you are welcome to come up and say hi to me. But please don't shout "hey you! you! you are Jovin, the one who did plastic surgery right?!?!!?"... i sure slap you... :P

Nope, you don't have to do follow-up unless you got complications. Yes yes, it's soooooo common in taiwan that girls did double eyelid and nose... to put it simple, it's more difficult to find a ugly girl on the road, than to find a pretty girl. Ha.
