Just curious, do you mean there is actually No Implant in your Nose? May i check how much was the cost for doing the Nose? And which surgeon did you use in NUH?

Thanks alot! :)

I think so .. I will be knowing more from the surgeon this friday cause I would be taking out my splint. Actually the initial procedure was to knock the sides of my nose so that my nose would look narrower. However on the day on the surgery, she said that she could try to file down my hump and place two treads to life up my nose to make it higher. I paid about 4000 plus for my nose. The surgeon's name is Dr. Jane Lim from NUH

My post-op complains are quite alot actually... haha ..

The first day after surgery was quite bad.. constant backache as I am supposed to keep my head elevated while resting. The swelling on my jaw that goes up to my cheek was quite terrible as the swelling was really quite tremedous. Nurses in NUH weren't exactly saavy as alot of them are students... and they didn't know what to do.

When I returned home, complains were: very boring .. as I can't go out. Constantly hungry as I can't eat most food except food that doesn't require much chewing.

I guess that's about all! =)

Hi ladies/gentleman!

How are you guys doing? Anyone did a rhinoplasty recently? :) As most of you know, i had done a nosejob on 8th Oct, so far so good, i like my nose very much. Very natural yet it adds a difference to my face. Went back for consultation last saturday and asked what else i can do. I am planning to get a chin implant, eye job (already have double eyelid but hidden inside) and maybe face liposuction. And of course, got to go back JB for a re-jab for botox on my jawline. Seems to expand abit again recently....

Botox Jawline Shots

Post by anthony05 » Thu, 08 Dec 2005 7:25 pm

Hi Jovin,

Could you tell me how much you paid for the botox jawline shots in Taiwan?
It has only been a couple of months right? And you said the effect has already diminished a little? I guess the effect will last longer as you keep
repeating the procedure.

Hi,

Hee hee you got it wrong. I did my botox in JB, not Taiwan. Anyway, doing in Taiwan will be around $1050, no much diff from Singapore. JB i paid $650 for 48 units of meso-botox.

Yes the effect is not permanent but will last longer and longer as long as you keep repeating the procedure. I am supposed to go back for check-up and re-jab after 3 months, this is the 4th month and i still haven't go back. Hee. Going back on wednesday though.

You got squarish jaws too?

i think accutane is diff from yasmin. accutance makes skin extra dry, and wounds heal slower than normal.

i personally think stop accutane for about a month then go for plastic surgery, rushing things may not be good ^^

u can still do ps even if u haf lots of acne..

u haf to ask ur doctor/plastic surgeon if its good to go on with the surgery. it shld be ok actually.. coz i got ask b4.

My favourite place is still Taipei! I always prefer Taipei to do any plastic surgery and liposuction. They have progressed alot in the field of plastic surgery in the past few years, they can even be as good as the koreans.

I mentioned before that doing my eyes, nose, chin, jawline and cheek liposuction in Taipei and JB (total about $6800) = 1 woffles nose in Singapore!

It's actually easy to decide where to go for plastic sugery. If you always think that Singapore = the best, then go to either Martin Huang or Woffles Wu (Martin Huang preferred though), if you think you like how the Thai actresses looks, then head to Bangkok. If you like the look of korean actresses, go Korea. If you like how the Taiwan singers/actresses looks, go Taipei. Follow this guideline and most of the time you won't go wrong :)

On my websites it says to wait for 6 months minimum if you are on accutane for any skin surgery. But my PS told me it is no problem. I am a bit sceptical.
